This was a great spot to make memories with our young grandchildren. Quiet cove, great swimming and boat dock, deer to be seen from the living area, etc. Owners were prompt in addressing minor issues. Met many friendly neighbors on my daily walks.

Everything about our trip was great! The house was fantastic, a great location, the dock looks like it’s brand new, and we loved the beautiful lawn and ability to play outdoor games. There are two really neat swings with amazing views of the lake that the kids loved. The kitchen had everything we needed in order to make meals, and the kids loved the downstairs “kid area.” The owners were easily accessible for questions and were super accommodating when on checkout day, we had terrible weather, and couldn’t take our boat out of the water to bring home.
A total sidenote, but I think it’s worth mentioning, is that we had some issues with launching the boat when we arrived late and met several people in the area that were more than willing to assist us. Such a great sense of community. The closest boat ramp is pretty difficult to get in and out of if you have a large boat. We recommend using another local ramp - Gum Branch mega fishing ramp that is just a bit further, and a breeze to get in and out of.
Highly recommend staying here and experiencing the beauty of Lake Hartwell. We live on Lake Murray and Lake Hartwell is very different and so worth driving up to see and spend time there.

This house has ample space and such a great layout for large families or multiple family stays. The rooms are large and furnishings comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked. Deck and backyard made for some great spectating and lawn sports. The dock is very nice with a swing and plenty of sun or shade . Quiet end of the lake. 15 minutes from downtown Hartwell. This is a place you can come back to for every season!

Our stay was amazing. We got access to the property on arrival which was about an hour before check in. The property contact was prompt texting back and giving all the necessary information. The place was clean and absolutely beautiful. We had plenty of beds and rooms for two couples and 3 single folks. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and cookware. We brought our boat and kayaks. It had excellent access to the lake. We couldn't have had a better stay. Check out was easy as well. Property contact was prompt yet again.

We have stayed at a few houses on Hartwell and this one has to be the one I enjoyed the most for swimming. No boat traffic and very peaceful! House was just as described. Easy check in/out!

Loved the house and the dock. Kids loved swimming in the lake. Rented a pontoon and enjoy tubing. Fantastic family vacation.

This is the best house we have every rented. The house was clean inside and out. The house is well stocked. We go as a family usually as 3 to 4 different smaller families and this is the first house we have rented that has had large pots and pans for a large group and yes we cook all meals but 1 supper meal. It was well kept. Something was leaking in the front yard. We will tell all our friends that is going that way that needs a bigger house to look at this house. Thank you so much for letting us stay in it for the week.

Fun Time on Hartwell Lake
We were a group of 6 friends, all women, and had a great time at this house. The setting is beautiful, and we really enjoyed the long weekend.

Great Weekend Getaway!
My friends and I rented this locations for a 4 day weekend and it was PERFECT. It accommodated all of us comfortably (12). The living area and basement were perfect hangout spots at night or to cook a delicious meal. The yard came in handy when we played yard games and volleyball. The best part of the property was the dock on the lake. The house/dock is situated in a perfect location on Hartwell, with tons of privacy and space from the busy lake to just float around in peace and also perfect access to the more open part of the lake for boating and a quick lake getaway. It’s also only 15 min by boat and car to the Hartwell Marina if you want to rent and 18-20 min from town/grocery stores. Enjoyed the stay and will definitely be back!

The property is nestled in a lovely spot at Lake Hartwell, Ga. My husband and I planned to stay there with two of our adult children. It was quiet, sunny, cool, and windy! The best of all worlds! I was disappointed that the home was not quite as clean as I thought it should be after paying a cleaning fee. The beautiful hardwood floors had evidently not been mopped. Spill stains were all over the floor. The rugs under the kitchen table and coffee table had not been swept or vacuumed. I had to move all the furniture and sweep the rugs. The vacuum cleaner would not pick up any trash off the rugs or floors. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a mop so we just wore shoes at all times. The bottom floor is basically a cement block room so it kept the temperature down. The rest of the house was like an oven. The air conditioning ran nonstop but the house never got under 77 degrees. The wall of windows that face the lake make for a beautiful view but the sun bakes the house. I don’t know how that could be fixed but something needs to be added to help with the heat. I can’t imagine the heat on a hot summer day. I don’t know how anyone could cover up the beautiful view.
The dock was a nice place to sit and enjoy the sunsets. Overall, our spring break trip was a nice quiet location to rest up for the next few weeks of college exams.

Great but much too brief getaway!
We all needed a change of scenery and a briefcase reprieve from the day to day stuff. We ranged in age from 2 to 85 and everyone had a great time. Erin was super quick to respond and we hope to come back again!

The house is roomy with lots of windows and nice views of the lake. It was well stocked with all the cooking items you need and it also had things like aluminum foil and plastic wrap which come in handy. We took advantage of the kayak and rented additional ones for our family and spent hours hanging out on the dock and at the lake. We would definitely stay here again.

Erin was great to deal with, she was flexible with check in/out times. Property had more than enough space to meet our needs for 9 people. There is a nice dock to go swimming from, the yard was also a plus

Amazing
We rented Erin's home for a weekend getaway, we should have stayed a week!! Everything was amazing and perfect, the check in process was simple, Erin was available for any and all questions, she made it all very easy to get set up for our stay and had great communication. The home was beautiful, clean, and in a perfect spot for our weekend on the lake. We fished, swam, rented a boat, and had a much needed relaxing time. We were tucked nicely in our quiet little cove and were able to sit on the dock at night admiring the full moon and sounds of being on the water! We definitely will be staying again, I hate to give such a great review because I know the bookings will start to fill up once people find this little spot!! Thank you Erin for sharing your beautiful spot with us!! ❤
