About this house rental
This 5 bedroom home sleeps 16 people and has beautiful views of Lake Champlain and the Green Mountains of Vermont. Offering privacy, this spacious home is located just minutes outside of the The Adirondack Park and is nestled on the edge of 40 acres of forest, which contain several walking trails and scenic views. Located just 10 minutes from Plattsburgh, this property is conveniently situated in the middle of Burlington VT, Lake Placid NY and Montreal Quebec. These are all located within about an hours drive. Whiteface Mountain and Titus Mountain ski resorts and just about 45 minutes away, and Lake Champlain is just about a 10 minute drive. This home would be perfect for family reunions and gathering.

Four families with 7 children ranging from 6 months to 6 years old stayed here for 4 nights. There’s tons of space for everyone, conveniently located to hiking trails and Montreal, beautiful property and stunning mountain and sunrise views from most rooms of the house. Hot tub was a dream. The sauna was a sweet playroom for the kids. lol A dream of a shower (master bedroom). Kitchen is a dream too.
The house is stocked, you don’t need to bring anything extra.
We had a great time and hope for an opportunity to do it again!

This is a well equipped home with a lot of amenities. The hot-tub, sauna and fire pit were just amazing bonuses. The kitchen is very well stocked with plenty of cooking gear and utensils. The home is spacious and very comfortable. The beds were equally comfortable and the surrounding peaceful. It served our needs perfectly in celebrating graduation weekend from SUNY Plattsburgh.

There were 17 of us and it worked nicely for us. Beautiful location, spacious home. There are only 5 not 7 bedrooms but enough space for everyone to sleep. The family loved the hot tub and sauna. The view is spectacular. It was a great space for a special holiday get together. We’d definitely rent again.

Great place to get together with family. Quiet and peaceful. Absolutely awesome kitchen! Very comfortable beds with quality linens. This is a very nice place - private but yet close enough to all the amenities. The hosts are very nice and quick to accommodate should you need anything.

The house is very spacious! We used it for a family get together and the space was great. We were able to cook meals, spend time together and separate when needed. The views of Vermont were awesome and we loved having the fireplace and hot tub. The kids really enjoyed the yard and the workout area was a nice bonus. We did have to clean up a bit when we got there but it was minor. We would stay again.

Enormous house, large common spaces, endless deck, endless front yard with tasty apples on the nearby tree, hot tub works great, plenty of hot water for all of us in the showers. Master bedroom has a huge bathroom, other bedrooms are very comfortable, one shared full bathroom among them and another full bathroom by the hot tub. If we come back to the area, we would stay there again!!

We had a large extended family come together for our mother's 90th surprise birthday party. Our host was friendly and amenable to early check-in and the house was large and able to keep a large span of age groups happy and busy. The only issues were mice in the house, an oven that didn't heat very well, and a toilet that plugged up.

I was concerned with the uneven brick pavers especially to the side entrance. Some of us are unsteady of foot and this was a safety hazard. The deck was pealing. One bathtub drain bubbled up in the tub. There were bugs. The hot tub needed adjustment and the property manager did respond so the problem was fixed and we were able to enjoy this amenity. We still do not know if we will get a refund for our unused day though we changed the date within the required timeframe. VRBO said the manager would get back to us in 48 hours but she didn't and didn't respond to repeated requests. If we were not to get a refund we would have checked out later in the day but because we did not know, had to leave at 10 AM. We were told to text the manager when we arrived and she would let us know where the key was. We texted twice and just got the response "Thank you." Some of our party waited outside for half an hour till we arrived and could sort it out. Esthetically the accommodation was attractive and we particularly appreciated grab bars throughout. It was large and did accommodate our need to both house and meet with family at the time of my sister's passing. We appreciated that.

We were pleasantly surprised to find a few A/C units on the main floor. That helped with the heat our country is experiencing. The house was lovely, the view amazing, the privacy was perfect. The only suggestion I have would be to move the sectional seating to the main floor. It is more comfortable for a family than the sofa and wingback chairs that were on the main floor. But, if someone uses the sectional for sleeping, it's current location would be better I am sure.

We needed a place for out-of-town guest to stay for our daughter's baby shower. This house was more then that, we were able to host the baby shower for about 27 people at the house and stay there in comfort. The kitchen we great for food prep and the layout allowed the party without interfering with the guest area. Wonderful! The hosts were very responsive and helpful.

6 adults and 1 child stayed in this house for Easter weekend. All i can say is WOW!! The property was amazing with trauls that backwd the house. We visitied Montreal, SUNY plattsburgh, took the ferry to Vermont. The younger adults loved the hot tub while adults loved the sauna. House was spacious, equipped with everything, and even allowed DOGS!!! My 15 year old Lab ran on the field and went on trailes too.
We enjoyed ourselves so much!!
We will definitely be back as my son is attending SUNY Plattsburgh in the fall.

We loved staying at this home!Hot tub and saunas were the cleanest I’ve ever seen. Spent most of our time in the kitchen which was nice since it had a pellet stove so we were cozy. Beautiful views of mountains and lots of space for kids to play outside. We skied at Whiteface, spent an afternoon in Lake Placid and a day in Montréal. Our kids had a blast. Highly recommend. Snow plow showed up early to make sure we had an easy time getting out. Very attentive, thoughtful and responsive owners.

This house is the perfect place for reuniting all the family. We were 4 families with 5 children and had an amazing stay. The house is huge, warm and cozy. Plenty of space for the kids to run around and for everybody to sleep comfortable. The host was amazing and accommodated us with providing all the necessary baby items and cooking items we needed for. Overall, we loved it and highly recommend.

We had a great time at the house in late December. The house was a tight fit for the 14 of us but it worked out well. The hot tub was a nice benefit. We greatly appreciated being able to bring our dogs along. The kitchen was well stocked - the oven was a bit smoky the first time we used it but after that it worked well. The yard was large and worked great for our family snow football game. Thank you very much for sharing your home.

This property was even more than we could have hoped for in finding a place to spend our wedding weekend with our bridal party and their dates. There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep comfortably and have privacy. The gorgeous views from the large porch were great for getting ready photos for the groom and groomsmen. This property was a great fit for my group. My group was a bunch of fisherman and this property is a great location and spacious! From plenty of parking for all of our boats and trucks to having outlets to plug our boats in to charge at night. The house was sooooo spacious. A big kitchen and dining area for our dinners. Plenty of bedrooms and sleeping areas as well as sitting areas to relax. Let's not forget the views from the decks outside! The sunrises were awesome! The owner Aimee was so quick to respond to any questions I had . She was so accommodating and helpful! If you have a large group of family or fisherman this property will be a great fit for you!

Great place to relax
My large family (both 2 legged and 4) had a very relaxing vacation at this house. It has plenty of room inside and out, plus a variety of things to do (or not do) within a short drive. The sites and views Lake Champlain are amazing. Aimee was extremely helpful with any question that popped up and very quick to respond. Communication was great. The only issue, and it was no one’s fault, we happened to pick a very hot week for our vacation and the house does not have AC, yet. Aimee let us know beforehand, we just didn't except the heat wave. We will definitely consider this house again in the future.

Family Retreat
We had a fantastic stay! The home’s main level has the master and all of the open family areas. Downstairs are four other large bedrooms and another living room and nook area with another futon. There are plenty of bathrooms around. The views were outstanding from every room and the jacuzzi and sauna were so relaxing. If you’re looking to gather lots of family together this is a fantastic fun house with the comfort of being in the country! The owners were very kind and prompt, we couldn’t have had a better time! Thank you for a wonderful family retreat!

Great holiday weekend!
The house was great, it was a great place to get back to and relax after going out to nearby attractions. The kids had so much fun in the huge backyard! Aimme is incredible. She was ready to give us her attention, she was kind, and quick to help us with anything. Now we want to come back in the winter!

Great spot for an extended family get together
Nice location and property is well suited to extended family staying there. House was as described in the listing and lots of space for relaxing throughout the house! Great wildlife (loved watching the phoebes feed their young!) Allowed dogs, which was a bonus with lots of room to run around outside. All in all an excellent experience! A+++

Great house for large families
This was an amazing big house that was perfect for our family of 15! The hot tub and sauna were a big hit for the kids! The huge yard was wonderful for the kids to ride bikes and play games in. Aimee was just a text away for any questions that we had, she was a very good host! We would love to come back again when the weather is warmer!

Absolutely Stunning!
Beautiful property, and the house is HUGE. Plenty of room for everyone. Lots of natural light and a very relaxing atmosphere. My dog lived the land as well. We plan to visit again in the Fall.

Amazing!
This was the nicest VRBO we’ve ever stayed in and well worth the money. We spent the weekend for my daughter’s sweet 16 birthday. All the bedrooms are beautiful and there’s plenty of room for large groups. We enjoyed the large kitchen/dining area for meals and the hot tub/spa area was great for gathering and relaxing. It was nice to have fully stocked kitchen and plenty of towels available in the bathrooms and spa area. I loved all the large windows/sliding doors that give you the opportunity to see the amazing view from every room. I also liked the privacy in the secluded area and was awesome to see two deer in the driveway when we pulled in. 5++++ stars!!!! We would definitely book again!!!

Absolutely exceptional home!!
This home was even better than expected. My group of 6 friends had a wonderful time. The home has so many inviting areas to conversation and hang out. Attention to detail was second-To-none. Aimee was already quick to reply. One night some of the bedrooms list heat and it was freezing but they fixed this immediately the following day. Only suggestion would be to check the drain in dull bath on lower level between bedrooms and shower drain was very slow to drain. Otherwise no concerns at all! Will stay again!

Wonderful weekend
We had a wonderful time at this amazing heaven. The Sauna and Jacuzzi were outstanding for our cold weekend and snowboarding day. The home is beautiful and has a lot of charm. We will come back soon!

A gem for large groups!
This place was no short of a gem. If you have a large group of people this place is just the spot. It's a little far from Whiteface but it's still worth it. The spa here is just like a million bucks. Hits just the spot. Go here in the winter and the contrast between the cold outside and sauna is absolutely therapeutic. Everything at the property is nice, gorgeous, and works. You don't even have to go anywhere to have a good time. You could just hang out at the house and you'd have a wonderful time. The people are nice and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

Great place for family gathering
It was great spot for our family and friends gathering. This home is spacious and welcoming. We had beautiful New year celebration not mentioning that surrounded area itself has much to offer like skiing and hiking.
The owner was very communitive and tried to accommodate all of our needs. However we had a few hiccups: it was unpleasant when in the middle of cooking 40day dry-aged stake it was interrupted by not working properly hood, secondly we ended buying coffee filters, dishsoap- we had issues starting dishwasher, and extra garbage bags - comparing to other properties, these supplies usually included.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Christmas Vacation 2021
This one of the best properties we have ever rented. It is very spacious and clean. We had 14 people in our party, and it was perfect for us. Aimee and Matt were extremely accommodating hosts. It was very easy to communicate with them and they were close by if we needed anything from towels & pillows to extra pots/pans to firewood. We went on a short hike on their beautiful woodsy property. We would definitely rent this property again. Whiteface is about 40 minutes away and Titus is about 1 hour away,
