❤️ Efficient heating system and and "Evaporative Cooling System" - An Evaporative Cooler lowers the air temperature by passing outdoor air over water soaked pads and then pulling the cooled evaporated air into the home. Evaporative cooling systems can be used effectively in the dry desert air of Mesa County. Operating instructions are included in the home but does require a window or two to be cracked open to allow for circulation. This cooling effect will achieve similar home temperatures as other forms of cooling, however the air may feel more humid and be louder (due to the fan) than refrigerated air units.

We were in town for my son's college track meet. The house is great! Comfortable, clean, spacious, great neighborhood, the backyard had plenty of space to hang out. It was such a relief to have such a great house to come back to after being outside all day. It made our stay our trip so worth it! Would definitely rent again!!!

This comfortable, updated home has it all! Excellent location to downtown, recreation center, hiking trails. The property management has excellent communication and will answer any questions you have regarding the home. I enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this rental.

We have been using VRBO for over 15 years and this home is by far in the top 5!!! Well stocked & a wonderful place to rest your head after a long hike. We have family in both Grand Junction & Loma so this home in Frutia was perfect! We loved it here and will definitely rent this home again! Thank You.

Upon arrival to the property , the first items noticed were the condition of the lawn, dead lawn, tall weed, weeds grown through the deck nothing like the images online rendered the outdoor space complete unusable.
Entered the residence we noticed it was very warm in the unit ,92 degrees inside. Tried to turn on the ac to then realize it was a swamp cooler. We turned on the swamp cooler to the horribly loud sound of shoes in a dryer, thunk thunk thunk, and the scent of an electrical fire. The electric smell was coming out of the the swamp cooler. ( had to turn it off thought it was going to catch on fire.) The host was aware of the problematic swamp cooler and seemed indifferent, thus doing nothing to repair the swamp cooler unit.
More inspection of the home (we were notified that they had just sprayed for bugs) we then noticed lots bugs , dead and alive covering the patio and the doors going to the patio inside and out. We looked for a vacuum there was none to be found. So we called the host to see if we could get a vacuum to clean up the dead bugs and to have the swamp cooler looked at.
She arrived promptly with a vacuum for the bugs and a single room ac unit that required the window to be open. It worked well for the one room but did nothing to cool the rest of the home.
The entire stay was marred by the lack of action from our host in repairing the home, the necessary repairs were never made during the stay .
Making our time spent at Cherry Pie miserable .
