About this apartment rental
This brightly lit basement apartment is on a quiet street within walking distance of downtown Bozeman and Montana State University. Our guests rave about being able to walk everywhere!
It is a great location for visiting a child at college, touring the university for the first time, or enjoying a sporting event at MSU! If you are visiting for the many outdoor activities, this is a great place to call home base. We are a short drive to many great hiking options in the surrounding mountain ranges and the Big Sky area. We are always happy to make any suggestions for a great hike. If visiting Yellowstone is on your bucket list we are an easy 1 hour and 20 minutes from the North entrance of the park outside of Gardiner (We have bear spray if you need it). If you are lucky enough to visit in the winter months, we are 18 miles from our local ski hill, Bridger Bowl, and 1 hour from Big Sky.
Your space has its own separate entrance with a convenient keypad entry. The three bedrooms provide comfortable sleeping for five guests. Two bedrooms offer a queen bed and one bedroom offers a full-size bed. One of the queen bedrooms has a desk for remote workers. The space offers one large bathroom with two sinks and a tub/shower combination. There is a nice living room with a cozy gas fireplace and TV (no cable, just streaming TV). Strong WiFi. Laundry room. Please be aware there is not a full kitchen in the apartment. A well-equipped kitchenette only, with a microwave, toaster, air fryer toaster oven, full-size refrigerator, coffee maker, coffee grinder, and electric tea kettle with an assortment of tea bags available. Our guests love the excuse to dine out at all the amazing restaurants in town. We are always happy to make any dining suggestions.
The cool summer evenings eliminate the need for homes to have full house air conditioning. The basement apartment stays cooler by design but we have stand-up AC window units that we are happy to set up for your comfort. All rooms also have fans to circulate the cool evening air. We have all new flooring throughout the space!! No pets. Non-smoking.
My husband and I live upstairs and are available for questions during your stay. We are located in the Cooper Park area. Two cruiser bikes come with the rental, just let me know if you want me to pull them out for you.
No cleaning fee!! The cleaning fee is included at no additional charge!!! Also, no add-on per person fees like you often see with short-term rentals. We are looking forward to your visit!!

We came to Bozeman for a family wedding. Never having visited I reached out several times leading up to our stay with Nancy our host. She was nothing but wonderful; "do you need a steamer for the dresses? Here's a list of things to do, where to eat, ..." You get the idea. Once there, the space is smartly laid out, has lots of small, thoughtful features. We were very comfortable. The town is growing rapidly. We had several great meals out, spent a day at the local hotsprings, and enjoyed several venues that were part of the wedding festivities. Nancy and Ted are the nicest hosts we've experienced in many years of travel. I can't recommend their place enough if you're considering a visit to Bozeman!

We had such a fantastic stay at Nancy and Ted's lovely place. We had absolutely everything we needed and so appreciated all the extra touches (bear spray to use on a hike for example!) and extra efforts that were made to make this place so comfortable. The weather was hot the weekend we stayed but the temperature in the house was perfect. We could easily access both downtown and MSU by foot. We can't wait to stay again, thank you so much for everything Ted and Nancy!

From the moment I first requested the booking, the property manager contacted me and gave me a brief run down of her place. Upon arrival, everything was exactly as described and maybe even a bit understated. These folks really went out of their way to make sure every amenity was provided. The downstairs apartment was pristine, well laid out and very quiet. The beds were comfortable and the couch was amazingly comfortable.
I would rate this VRBO a 5 Star Plus! I wish they were all like this one! My sincere appreciation to the owners on making this such a wonderful place!

Nancy and her husband were so sweet and accommodating! They helped us with some recommendations, tips, and so much more. They were the best hosts we've ever had. They offered us bikes to explore Bozeman and let us borrow bear spray and a cooler for the night. I would highly advise staying with them and easy access to downtown Bozeman.

We couldn't be more pleased with our stay. We were visiting our daughter at MSU. The home is ideally located halfway between downtown and the campus and we easily walked to each. The neighborhood the house is in is quiet and felt very safe.
The home itself was perfect and even better in person than in the photos. It was very clean, spacious, comfortable and Nancy thought of everything (even things I didn't know I needed!). There were so many nice touches that made the stay extra special and much better than staying in a hotel. Nancy was communicative and friendly and the entire process was a breeze. Our family can't wait to return!

This VRBO is fantastic! My husband, son, and I stayed here for 6 nights while helping my son move to Montana for grad school. The basement apartment was wonderful - very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed (and more)! Everything you could possibly want or need was provided, and our hosts, Nancy and Ted, were just about the nicest people we've ever met! They couldn't do enough for us! They helped us with so many things while we were there (too many to list), and went out of their way to make sure we were able to get my son settled well into his apartment.
Nancy and Ted are so warm, friendly, and kind, and we felt like we now have some new friends in Montana! The location was perfect as well, very close to Main Street and all the shops.
We absolutely loved staying here and we will definitely be back!

Great communication with friendly hosts. Three bedroom unit very well stocked with amenities and extras including guide books, bathroom products, grocery shopping bags, folder of things to do, coffee, etc. quiet location. You should know it’s a basement unit, doesn’t have a full kitchen, and one of the bedrooms has an open window on the living room space that is covered with a curtain. Hosts very friendly and helpful- loaned us hiking books and sent updates on Yellowstone after the flooding and closure.
