About this apartment rental
***Construction update 9/19/24: The work crew are currently working on building 1 and should move on to building 2 next. Buildings take 2-3 weeks to complete, but there have been a lot of delays with this project. During this time, work crews will be jackhammering concrete and replacing any removed concrete and rebar during this process. This work will be noisy but will be limited to between the hours of 9-4 Monday through Friday. This unit is located in building 2.***
Welcome to the Sea Gem Beach Retreat at Summerhouse! NEWLY RENOVATED, 2 STORY CONDO in building 2 provides a visual panorama that’s absolutely breathtaking! Just one step back from ocean front units, this condo still provides sweeping views of the pool and ocean! Stunning ocean views from balcony, living room and the master bedroom! This unit is located in the northernmost building, building #2.
This bright and airy condo is very comfortable and relaxing. You'll be mesmerized by the ocean views and relaxed at the sounds of the peaceful waves that lap at the silky shore just steps away.
This lovely home has 2 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths and sleeps 6 people comfortably. It has an HD television in the living room as well as board games to enjoy when there is a need for quiet time. There are fans in all sleeping areas for your increased comfort.
The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need for the family’s dinner. Washer/dryer and linens are included as well. The dining area seats six.
The master bedroom has a wall mounted HD TV, as well as a king size bed that restores you after your day of activity and fun at the beach or visiting St. Augustine. The second bedroom has solid wood bunkbeds, twin over full, and there’s a brand new, queen size sofa sleeper in the living room.
There are books to choose from for those relaxing days and a desk for your laptop.
There is easy access to both the beach and the pools. Summerhouse complex has four heated pools, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, racquetball courts, and bike racks. There are grills with cabanas, new playgrounds for kids and horseshoes and shuffleboard. There is RV/Boat parking on the premises.
We invite you to take a short walk to the beach where you can go and enjoy the view, read, or just relax with friends. Or perhaps you may witness one of nature's greatest spectacles...sea turtles nesting!
Crescent Beach, where Summerhouse unit 115 is located, is known as one of the most beautiful beaches in the northeast of Florida. It’s an expansive white powder beach! You’ll find fisherman, bikers when the tide recedes, walkers, surfers, kite boarders, shell gatherers, and of course sun bathers! Further north, 4 wheel drive vehicles are allowed. The St. Augustine and St Johns County area have a great variety of golf courses for players of every level and skill.
St. Augustine city center, only 10 miles north, is the most ancient, gorgeous city in Florida...and America for that matter! It hosts restaurants, stunning historic churches, some of the finest art galleries and a myriad of chic boutique shops. The first Friday of every month features an Art Walk, where some galleries even serve refreshments and stay open in the evening. As you walk cobble stone streets you have opportunity to explore history all around you, often hearing church bells. You can sight see through horse and buggy or trolley tours, or just shop 'til you drop! You will want to return year after year!
The cleaning company provides a limited amount of basic necessities (toilet paper, trash bags, dishwasher/laundry soap, etc.) to get you started, you will want to bring some with you.
You have a designated parking spot marked with the unit number. You may also park one additional vehicle in an unmarked spot. 2 vehicles max, no exceptions. Must pick up parking pass from office upon arrival. It's $10 to get one for your whole stay, or you can pick up a day pass each day from the office for free. *If you are going to arrive at Summerhouse after office hours, you will need to prearrange for a parking pass in advance with the office. This is very important!*
Service Animals: Pets are not allowed at our beach retreat. If you bring a pet, we will charge your damage deposit for a pet fee plus $100 for the unexpected extra services required to clean the house and you will risk cancellation of your booking. You must let us know if you are bringing a service animal, it's important to let the cleaners know and the office of the condo.
We don't offer refunds or reschedule stays during hurricane season, even if there is an evacuation order. Please purchase trip insurance for your stay if this is a concern.

We really enjoyed our last minute-weekend stay at this condo. It was beautifully furnished and decorated with all of the upgrades. The location of the unit was perfect, a super close walk to the pool and beach access. I’ve stayed at Summerhouse before but this unit was so nice! We hope to return to this unit next summer! The hosts were very friendly and had great communication with us before and throughout our stay. Highly recommend this unit!

We booked this rental pretty last minute for spring break. I had cancelled a different rental through VRBO due to a lack of communication, and David was quick to confirm my reservation and send a welcome message with detailed information about my stay.
The home was super easy to access, parking was easily accessible, and the community members were kind. The rental was better than the photos, very clean, well stocked with linens and some toiletries. Having the little things like a few dishwasher pods and dish soap made a difference. It was nice to not have to purchase an entire one of those items for just a few days. They left a few trash bags and rolls of toilet paper as well.
The beds were very comfortable, everything smelled very clean and there were plenty of extra blankets. All appliances and fixtures worked well. They kitchen was so well stocked with pots, pans, Tupperware, cooking utensils, etc.. which was perfect for cooking meals instead of needing to eat out all of the time.
Proximity and access to the beach was the best I’ve ever had in any beach rental in the past. The heated pool was a big hit with my teens, and being able to watch them from our balcony was a huge plus.
Overall, I’d highly recommend, I’d stay here again, and it’s definitely a top tier rental/host!

Love the area, lots to do and ample ways to relax. Played pickle ball every morning and beached in the afternoon. Close to everything but not in the middle of the crowds. Will be back for sure!

Our family of five really enjoyed our stay here! The property is situated perfectly. Being able to hear and see the ocean while also having such a super close proximity to the pool made things easy for our family. Older kiddos could easily run back to the condo to grab something forgotten and we could keep eye still. The condo itself had everything we needed and was one of the most clean rentals we’ve ever stayed at. Cleanliness is super important to me when staying somewhere! We would definitely recommend!

Nice place but lots of steps to apt plus stairs to bedroom. Close to Ocean & Pool which was convenient. Only one beach chair and few beach towels if have more than 2 people. Restaurants near by and easy drive.

This condo was perfect for our family of three. It was super clean, nicely decorated and the owners had thought of little details like a shoe basket by the front door. You can see the sunrise from the front of the condo and the sunset from the back. The community is quiet and friendly. The beach is beautiful and clean. We enjoyed going for long morning walks on the packed sand. It's a short drive to historic St Augustine. Great communication with the host. We will definitely be back!

The condo was in a very quiet community. We could see and hear the ocean from the home. Beach was a short walk. Beach was clean and the sand hard packed which made for easy walking. We loved watching the osprey and the pelicans. Pool was right outside and everyone was very friendly. Short drive to historic St. Augustine and nearby restaurants. Unit is very welcoming and very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much!

The condo is wonderful! It was very clean and nicely decorated. We felt right at home. We had coffee every morning on the back deck overlooking the pool and the beautiful lawn. Access to the beach and pools were so close and easy which is great with kids! Communication was amazing!! Very prompt and always helpful. Highly recommend!! We would love to stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very clean and organized, had a great assortment of board games for rainy days, was in a wonderful location, and the neighborhood was quiet in the evenings. Check-in was a breeze and communication with our hosts was easy. We would definitely come back here to stay again!

This was our second time staying at this condo at Summerhouse and we were just as impressed. It is always very clean and well furnished. It's a safe and quiet area and the proximity to the pool and ocean are great. There are no beach chairs or umbrella available so I would plan to bring your own or plan to purchase those if needed. Publix is close by and provides everything you'd need.

We’ve stayed in many units at Summerhouse and 115 was one of the best. The room was very clean and it felt like home.

Pictures were accurate. Condo was comfortable and well equipped. Had a few requests which manager promptly responded to. Great communication. Beach was wonderful, pools were warm and clean. Used the courts which were perfect. Fitness room needs an upgrade and cleaning but has full set of weights etc so did the job. Will stay again when next in the area.

We absolutely loved this property! Ocean view, charming decor, clean and comfortable....all we could want. Owner very well-organized and responsive with easy check-in. There was abundant room for my self, my husband, and our adult son. Loved the balcony! We would definitely want to stay again and again!

The condo was perfect! The pictures depict the property to a tee! Every room was sparkling clean and the kitchen was well equipped. My favorite part of our stay was the time spent on the balcony, enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning and glass of wine in the evening while watching and listening to the waves crash into the shore. We would certainly stay here again if our travels take us to this area.

Very nice neighborhood with friendly good people. Very quiet. I liked the location of this rental in the community. Comfy bed. Nice clean bathrooms. Whole house was clean. Loved the walks on beach. I felt like I had the whole beach to myself! Also park with nice walking trail across street. Nice tennis court. They have a very nice community deck with seating to view ocean and sunset . Yes I would definitely rent this townhouse/ condo again.

We only stayed a few days but really enjoyed our visit. The condo had a great view of the pool and decent view of the ocean. The condo was very clean and had ample linens, kitchen supplies, and toiletries. Nearby local Safe Harbor Seafood was yummy. The price was great and the cleaning fee was not extravagant. Host had great communication. We live close so we will visit again when we need some ocean breeze! We only wished there was a pet policy but that wasn't a deal breaker.

We enjoyed our weekend away. It's a perfect property in a quiet community right off of A1A. The grounds were well maintained and the condo itself was immaculate. We had great communication with the property managers (very prompt to respond) even after a minor hiccup with fire alarms randomly going off. The morning sunrise view from the balcony was perfect and the beach was quiet! A much needed trip! We will certainly be back!

This was a great rental experience! Not only was the unit clean, well decorated and exactly as listed, both David and Patti were wonderful to work with. My daughter left some items there and they both were so helpful in getting them back to us. We enjoyed the lovely view of the beach and the pool! I would highly recommend this rental!
