Our hosts, Karina and Ignacio were so pleasant and responsive to any of our questions during the 2 month staycation in this lovely, spacious Islamorada home.
Safe and quiet neighborhood, loved the quick easy access to both the gulf and Atlantic for the best fishing! We enjoyed our stay and all the accommodations provided by these wonderful hosts.

This place fit our needs well. One had her husband die last June and needed a fresh start anywhere warm. We had fabulous weather in the 80s every day! Gobs of sunshine so grab a shady patch. Oceanwas warmish and very swimmable. Nice pool for at “home”. Easy drive to handle all your wants. Islamorada seems to have it all.

We had a great stay!
Very spacious inside and the outdoor sitting area and pool are very private and comfortable. Easy water access through the canal to the bay side. Beach was a short golf cart ride away and beautiful. House was very clean and owner was very responsive to any questions.

Magical Place
This is a truly special vacation home. Our family had a wonderful time! You couldn’t ask for better owners. Ignacio and Karina were responsive, kind and incredibly accommodating. It was clear they want their guest to have a great time. Here is what we loved: the Master Suite was huge. A king bed with a desk if you need to work and high-speed internet. The bathroom is luxurious. It has a sauna and a gorgeous double shower with two separate sink areas and large closets. It has a wraparound porch that overlooks the pool. The entire home is both well-decorated and comfortable. The backyard is quiet and pretty private. It has a small pool and great hot tub that are awesome for swimming at night. Lights around and in the pool (also a safety fence) if you want them and a spa that heats up fast. The seating area has adorable white lights, couches, and a table for eating outside. We fished in the canal and swam in the pool. We loved the gourmet kitchen with the gas stove and griddle. I’m super picky when it comes to kitchens. This one was awesome – big, tons of counter space, a good espresso machine (with frother 😊) and a huge fridge. We cooked at least one meal per day while we were there and the kitchen really supported anything we were looking to prepare. At the top of the neighborhood there is a fish market with live lobster, shrimp, and fresh fish. We regularly grabbed fish or shrimp to cook for dinner. It was a great bonus to the house! The owners have a golf cart for guests to rent. Absolutely take advantage of that option. It makes the beach a very short ride – just a few minutes – close enough to bring dinner to cook on the grills at the beach and run back easily if you forget something! It was nice to drive around the neighborhood to find the manatee in the canals. An incredible bonus to the rental. The beach the owners belong to is truly special. It is super flat and shallow for maybe 50 yards into the ocean. If you have kids it is a great place to spend the day. Our kids hunted for minnows and hermit crabs and floated around on innertubes for hours. It was great not having to be worried about crashing waves or an undertow. The sunsets were magnificent. It is a special place!
Casa Chickee is perfect for families looking for a high-end rental, with a great kitchen and master, that is quiet and close to a beautiful beach. An amazing place to spend a vacation.
