About this house rental

Enjoy a convenient stay at this 1,500 sq. ft. cabin in the heart of the Black Hills. This private 3 bedroom, 2 bath, cabin is located on the edge of Hill City- just walking distance from the main street.
Relax and enjoy the view in the spacious living room and family room- featuring a sleeper sofa in the family room. Bedding and linens are provided to accommodate up to 10 people. We have also provided air mattresses. The kitchen is fully stocked (you provide the food) and includes a dishwasher. For your laundry convenience, there is a washer and dryer and iron.
Other features include: Hot Tub, Fireplace, Gas Grill, Large Deck, and Garage with Remote.
NOTE: Hot Tub NOT available November 1 through May 15.
Our cabin is in the heart of the Black Hills. You will have quick and easy access to many of the Black Hills
attractions: Mt. Rushmore (20 minutes east), Crazy Horse (15 minutes south), Keystone (20 minutes east), Sheridan Lake (10 minutes northeast), Pactola Reservoir (20 minutes north), the Black Hills National Forest (15 minutes northwest), Needles Highway (20 minutes south), and much more.

Great stay for the BBQ team while we were in town for competition. The location is perfect - just outside of town but very very close. Lots of space. Comfortable beds and the hot tub was great to relax in. Highly recommend this place. Definitely consider staying here.

We had another enjoyable time here. It was perfect for our family. We had an issue with the hot tub when we got there but it was taken care of right away, and we were able to enjoy the hot tub all week. We’ll be back next summer!

We enjoyed the proximity to town, while still quiet. The facilities, bath, shower, excellent! The kitchen is well stocked and beautiful. The deck relaxing. Hope to come back again!

This cabin was great. It was the right amount of room for the 8 of us. We were able to navigate to the trails easily. The cabin was very clean and plenty of utensils and linens for everyone. Any questions we had were answered right away. We would definitely stay here again.

We love this property! We will definitely be back! It was a perfect fit for all 7 of us. It’s the perfect location too. Private but not far from town. We seen deer in the evenings and every morning! It was kinda fun looking for them! We highly recommend! 5 plus stars!!

We loved staying at the Lodge in Hill City! There were 5 of us as my stepson decided at the last minute to join us. There is plenty of room that everyone got some privacy whenever needed. Dave, the host was very responsive to messages. The hot tub was a big hit with my stepdaughter and the boy. The location was great. We saw all the sites we wanted to see and we enjoyed walking main street (just a short walk away from the Lodge) and checking out the shops. We ate 3 meals at the Hill City cafe on different days - breakfast, lunch and dinner! I would highly recommend this property. We would stay there again!

This property is a great location for a Black Hills Vacation. It is centrally located near Hill City with easy access to Keystone, Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, and Rapid City attractions. It was quiet even though it is located on a main road. It was nice to have a full sized washer and dryer with 5 adults and 5 kids. We had a few minor questions and the owner was prompt with a response. The kitchen and dining table were adequate for our family. I was nice to have a garage to pull in to when it rained. I would recommend this area and this property.

As advertised , perfect for 6 guys, beds , bathrooms ect. Hugh covered outdoor patio with table and chairs. Great gas grill. Hot tub was welcome to 60 plus guys after a days ride. 😎 Parked two trucks with enclosed trailers. Garage will fit 6 motorcycles. Hill City , puts you in the heart of the Black Hills for great rides.

We had a little confusion getting into the house the first night but David responded to my messages right away and we were able to get into the house. We loved the place right away; it was even better than the pictures. The house was homey, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was a good size and the table was big enough to fit all 7 of us. We enjoyed the hot tub every night, and even saw 4 deer the first night we were there! The deck on top was a great place to look at the stars at night. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and we plan on coming back in the future!

An all adult group ranging in age from 60-78 stayed for a week. The home is very nice, was exceptionally clean and well equipped. The only suggestion would be, is to have a lamp in the upstairs living room. After dark unless you had the 4 kitchen or dining room recessed lights on, the living room was very dark. Having the light on over the kitchen sink isn't enough to help the living room. Communication with Dave, the owner was always responded to quickly. The property does overlook a cemetary across the road. This did not bother us in the least but I know it would bother some people. The home sits on a busy road that has very loud trucks, semi's and ATV's from early morning until dark. We loved sitting on the covered deck but traffic noise would interrupt conversations. We did not use the hot tub, so unable to comment on that.

We were unable to use the hot tub. The water was warm, the hot tub smelled like algae and mold and the water was dirty. The cabin was clean and very nice inside and very close to hill city. The dumpster in front of the property was also filled to the brim and needs to be emptied.

We rented this property to hold a mini family reunion with a few of our kids and adult grandchildren - and it worked great. Hill City is our favorite location, so the location of the cabin was perfect.

Minutes away from Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Needles Hwy, Sylvan Lake and more. House easily accommodated 2 families of 4 with younger kids. In general it was pretty clean, hot tub had a lot of dirt in it and was super foamy. Had a great time with family!

The handle on the down stairs bathroom would not stay on and the downstairs bedroom needs a new mattress. Nice place to stay otherwise
