Overall the property is exactly as described, however the floors are just not clean. I have a 1 year who crawled from1 room to another and her knees and hands were completely black. It looks like it never gets a good mopping only a swiffer or something light. If it would've been mopped this unit would've gotten a 5. Close to beach and nice arrangements

We stay in Destin about twice a year, this is our first family trip with our kids and four of our grandkids. Two which are 8 months old the house and location was good the parking was challenging with two large vehicles only two spots that were really close. They house was good size and had everything we needed. The only thing I will knock it for was the cleaness of the floors. As I mentioned earlier we had two 8 month old boys with us that like to crawl. They were immediately black from the dirty floors. I didn't call housekeeping we swept and mopped the floors several times to get them clean. The only other thing I would knock the house for is the two outside decks are not large enough for a chair to sit, only for standing. The beds where comfortable and the linens where clean. The beach location was nice and convenient. It's right next to the public access so at times it can get loud from the passersbys.

The house was as advertised and a short walk to the beach. There were plenty of toys provided for our 3 year old to play with on the beach and it was nice having the chair and umbrella set up for us at the beach every day. The kitchen had plenty of utensils and tools provided for cooking. As other reviewers have mentioned, the floors were very gritty when we first came in and our bare feet looked dirty after walking around the house. That aside, it was a great experience overall.

Our family had an incredible stay. Property is steps away from beautiful beach. The property is fully furnished. We are a family that really likes to prepare our meals and this property had everything we needed no matter what our preparation needs were. Very nice and clean. We did face a major appliance issue and was a little stressful at first, but both My Vacation Haven and the owners acted impressively quickly to resolve - Thank you! We look forward to our return in the future.

Upon arrival the floors had not been cleaned. The condo was cleaned everywhere else. The worst part of staying here was being harassed by the guy that sets up the beach chairs and telling us we were not allowed on the beach. He was trying to get us to pay $150 to sit on the beach with our own chairs! I paid $2000 for the condo I'm pretty sure the beach doesn't cost money. It was a struggle every day going to the beach and having the same conversation with him. Telling him we rented the condo for that beach. I'm not sure if anyone else has had that issue but it makes me not want to stay there again. Also, someone scheduled for there to be maintenance done in the condo while staying there and I was not notified. I came back from the beach and there was a random person in the condo. I had personal items and purses out. I should have been notified someone was coming to do maintenance. I have to say the staff of the management company was helpful and courteous when called about the beach incident.

NOTE: For families/groups with more than 5 people, expected to be charged $50 per day to access the beach. The beach chair service (Happy Day’s) said that the home only covers one set of chairs. A set is for up to 5 people. Since we had 7, we were asked to pay for another set of their chairs even tho the home has great beach gear for us to use. I called the PM company who said this has never happened to a renter and to not pay. However the owner of the chair service parked his golf cart behind our vehicles until we paid. This is not stated anywhere on the listing or in our booking confirmations.

Great Beach Location
We spent a week with my husband and three kids (teens). We had a great time! Destin is a great place. House is located in a great location. You literally walk a few steps to the beach. It was 5 of us, we were very confortable. Nice decor, only thing I’ll say to the owners the cleaning. It looks very clean at 1st glance, but I found lots of dirt under beds. That place spotless is perfect! My other recommendation if you come make sure you bring basic kitchen needs (oil, salt&pepper, sugar).

Nice place, recently updated. Too bad it is next to a public access, so it was noisy at times and then each was very crowded. Also even though we got 2 chairs and an umbrella included in our stay, we had to check in and we weren’t guaranteed anything in the front row. Our names were not holding chairs

We loved this home. The location was perfect for our family. Being so close to the beach made it so easy for us to go back and forth with our kids. The outdoor space was wonderful since that is where we spent our evenings socializing. We will definitely be looking at this place for our annual trip next year!

Perfect location
The house looked smaller than photos depicted but that really wasn't a problem. We were 6 adults,1 child. Having the 2 bedrooms downstairs was perfect when our toddler napped and was put to bed earlier than the adults. Unfortunately it rained so we had to find other activities but Sunday was magnificent and being so close to the beach was great! The house was very clean. Some areas of the unit could use a facelift. That's what happens so close to the beach. Overall we were happy with the rental and would recommend it!

Very close to the beach!
This property is exactly as described, so close to the beach which is great for families with little kids. One complaint is the floors weren’t clean, within a few minutes of arrival our feet were black. Linsey was great about getting housekeeping to come back out, they still didn’t do a great job but we just wore shoes around. Everything is updated and beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

Family vacation
It was a short family vacation, first time my children experienced the Gulf Coast. The house was clean and very accessible to the beach. Had all the utensils needed for making small meals, which saved is money during the stay. Property manager was very accommodating and kind.

Beautiful, Organized and Clean
Loved the property! Easy/quick access to the beach. Very clean and love all the amenities it provided. We stayed from 8/22 - 08/28. and never had one problem. Look forward to going back!

Almost perfect
We loved almost everything about Let the Good Tides Roll! There were only a few things that weren't good. The main thing was that when we checked in, the floors were pretty dirty. I emailed Linsey (pretty late) the night we got there and she got back to me the same night and said she would have housekeeping come to the house as soon as possible. They weren't able to get there on Sunday, but they came Monday at noon and the floors were much cleaner when they finished. The other thing was that the hallway bunks weren't quite as big as we thought they would be. I think they are definitely meant for kids, as my 15 year old 5'8" nephew was too tall for his bunk. He ended up sleeping on the pull-out sofa in the living room and everything was ok.
Having said all of that, our host Linsey was AWESOME. She was always quick to respond to my emails and so helpful whenever we needed anything. The other thing we loved was how close to the sand we were. The Barracuda beach access was right next to the house and was literally a 3 minute walk to have our toes in the sand. Also, having our own (along with a few other rental properties) reserved area of beach in front of the house was amazing. The beach was never too crowded, and the 2 provided beach chairs and 1 umbrella were super handy since we had 7 adults in our party and that meant less to carry.

The beach was wonderful and the property was nice. Very convenient location and the whole process from booking to checkin was super easy. Checkout was very simple as well. This was the first time we booked a property that wasn’t gulf front but it was a very short walk. We enjoyed the complimentary chairs and umbrella very much. The only negative...and it’s a minor one is the location of the washer and dryer, it was inconveniently located in a closet outside the house and it was aggravating trying to keep the towels washed. But we would recommend the property.

We enjoyed our stay. House is located at top of beach access. Interior is clean and updated. A/c worked great even upstairs. Only hiccup was locating washer/dryer. Described as being in back closet we looked all around and couldn’t find. Wife was starting to get anxious. Then I found it on the back of the house in an exterior closet. Minor inconvenience since we had 2 rainy days.
