This wonderfully family and dog-friendly home is situated at the uncrowded end of Fenwick Island, give your whole group plenty of room to spread out on the beach! And, it’s easy to walk to the Lewes St. beach by crossing over Coastal Hwy. onto Lewes St., so you can easily move from the beach to the home all day.
The upper level of this bright, beachy two-level home holds the main shared living space, including a gorgeously updated kitchen, with dark blue cabinetry and a complimentary backsplash, not to mention a full suite of stainless steel appliances and all the counter space you need to whip up a meal. You’ll find four barstools at the breakfast bar or a dining table set for six just adjacent when it’s time to eat. If the weather is nice, dine alfresco on your wraparound deck, which offers 360-degree view of the scenery and overlooks Assawoman Bay at the back.
In the living room, you’ll find a large sectional, perfect for streaming a movie on the wall-mounted flatscreen TV. If you’re looking for more together time, there are tons of board games to choose from. A ping pong table in the garage provides further entertainment opportunities. Four bedrooms round out the main floor; one with a king bed and en suite bathroom, one king, one with matching twins, and one with twins and a futon.
Downstairs is another guest suite with a private entrance, accessible via external stairs. Here you’ll find a king bed plus a twin with a trundle, a fridge, a table that seats four, TV, a full bath and access through the elevator – yes, this home has an elevator – or through a separate front door.
No matter which part of this expansive home you’re staying in, the deck and huge back yard are perfect spots to gather when the weather is nice. We loved that this is at the quiet end of town, with quick ocean beach access and a great view of the bay. Rooms are very spacious even with the larger beds.

Great location and size but the house was dirty when we arrived. Master bed made but sheets not clean—sand and hair in the bed—Disgusting. I changed the sheets myself with spare set I found in the closet. Shower was dirty, I cleaned it myself. Tub in 2nd bedroom clogged. Downstairs totally unkempt with towels on the floor, etc. Dirty laundry in dresser drawers. If the house was actually clean upon arrival it would be 5 stars. Whoever is responsible for the cleaning of this property is not doing their job. Some areas looked like they were tidied to appear as if clean, but upon closer inspection they were not—sand, hair, soap scum. Just gross.

Overall, a great house for a family beach vacation. Nicely updated and a well-equipped kitchen. The view of the bay was wonderful! You can take paddle boards to the bay, but it's a little tricky getting down the path. The game room downstairs was also a big hit. The elevator worked well, but you must remember to shut both doors each time. The biggest issue we had was the AC in the guest suite. It needs better instructions because the control panel is not intuitive. Finally, crossing the coastal highway to get to the ocean was a little daunting. You have to be very careful and wait for a break in the traffic. But it's only a block away, and the beach was lovely!

There was some confusion on the key pad instructions. I was given one set of entry instructions with the general Vacasa customer service and a different set of instructions with the locals Vacasa team. Also, tub wasn’t draining and Vacasa (property management team) sent out someone the sane day to address the issue. I only wish they had communicated their intent to send someone out prior to someone just showing up at the house.
House is spacious and conveniently located to both downtown Fenwick and across the street from the beach. The bay behind the house makes for excellent wildlife spotting and has excellent. Best part was that this house was dog friendly. Would stay again despite some miscommunications.

We love Fenwick and really enjoyed this house - wonderful views and we would stay here again. Loved the gated wrap around porch - the dogs really enjoyed it and a nice spot to enjoy a cup of coffee or a meal. House was clean. We did not realize it came with sheets and towels, so even though we brought ours it was nice to have extras. The game room is really nice and there are a lot of board games. There were also some beach chairs, again we brought some, but nice to have extras. The beach across the street is really nice, the highway can be a little busy though. Kitchen could probably use a few more things - there weren’t really any containers. The toaster was really hard to press down, so could probably use a new toaster. The elevator was nice to have, easy to use, but just need to make sure you always close both doors after each use. Mosquitos are really bad out back and they were constantly getting in house, but the house is near the bay so was expected. We had an issue with the smoke detectors, they went off just about every day of our stay. It happened to the people before us, so just wish it would have been addressed before our stay since Vacasa knew it was an issue. Only other wish about this house is that we wish there were tvs in all the bedrooms and that we didn’t have to use our personal streaming accounts, but we knew that when booking.

We loved the home and location. Game room was amazing. Sunset’s were beautiful. Well decorated and comfortable. Elevator was not working which was a big problem for us and our needs. After one day someone came out without tools to fix it and then nobody else came the rest of the stay. Heat and ac on the lower level did not work properly. Heat was set to 72 but it would heat the room to 78 then shut off and not start till 68. Ac only had one setting of 64. We all tried to figure it out but that’s just how it was. There was a constant chemical smell on both levels of the house. I believe it was coming from the flooring. It was constant even after airing it out. That should go away with time. Sometimes new flooring can smell for a while. I have never written anything negative in a review but these were things that were hard to overlook and I would want to know about. If the elevator and heat were working correctly I would have loved it. Lots of bedding, very clean, uncluttered, beautiful wrap around deck, beach chairs, so so many things to love. Short walk to the beach and quiet at night.

We first noticed a strange odor in the house. I asked if the house had been sprayed with bug spray and was told it was not, but the odor couldn't be explained. Only one bathroom for 3 bedrooms (7 people), upstairs. The mosquitoes are the worst I've ever seen. . . naturally formed swamp pond in backyard and neighbor. Walking thru the backyard kicked up huge swarms of mosquitoes. 'Came home with over 12 bites. We won't be back!

Great location with the bay view in the back and 2 block walk to a beautiful beach in the front. The house was perfect for our family's reunion which brought us together from four states. Thanks for sharing your home!

Exactly as advertised.
House was very nice inside and out. Great view. Very clean. Upper level deck wraps around the house completely which was great for our dogs. They could roam freely from inside to outside. Only issue, hope nothing goes wrong with the place while you're there. There's an elevator with this property and it stopped working. We reached out to the property management (vacasa) and never got a response. In my opinion, very poor professionalism from vacasa. We would love to stay there again!
