Horseshoe Bay is an amazing community located in the Texas hill country and is about 1 hour from Austin, 2.5 hours from Houston and 3 hours from Dallas. One of the highlights is certainly Lake LBJ, as it is one of only 2 constant level lakes in the area. But Horseshoe Bay, has so much more to offer. There are over 8 golf courses within 15 miles. Fredericksburg and all the hill country vineyards are within an hours drive of the property. Horseshoe Bay Resort has become a large draw with fun events and concerts as well as weddings. Marble Falls is 15 minutes away and has a lot of the fun restaurants, bars and night life.

A car is the preferred method of transportation in the Texas hill country and Horseshoe Bay. A boat is also a method of transportation used at this property.

We loved this property! Beautiful views and the house was gorgeous! The pool area needed to be cleaned up a bit more for guests and the fire pit really needs to be replaced for this type of higher priced property, but those are my only recommendations!

Overall the stay was good, however….
We did have some negatives. This listing says the boat dock is unavailable related to debris in the water, I reached out to verify (before booking) I was told it was available and clean. It was farrrrr from usable!
If brining a boat there are no cleats. The lift is unusable in the current state and with the current maintenance or lack there of I wouldn’t trust it. You cannot park your boat trailer in the driveway even if attached to your vehicle. Closest ramp is 15 minutes.
The carpets need some cleaning stains everywhere. The chairs around the fire pit were broken (additional broken chairs are thrown to the side of the The pool bubbler and water feature doesn’t work.
The handle on the front door is loose and it moves all over.
Master bedroom door won’t close or lock. The patio furniture needs replaced or TLC at the least. (The patio furniture that is there that has clearly been broken was thrown to the side of the boat dock). The house has potential to be soo great but definitely falls short.
Great location, the pool was nice and shaded a lot of the day and the house is beautiful. Only reason I gave it a 4 is bc of the boat dock not being available and ALL of the maintenance stuff the needs attention and clearly isn’t.

Beautiful home for our large family group of 12 adults. We loved the pool and boat lift onsite. The home is spacious and well appointed. We had a couple of small issues upon check in that were addressed quickly. All in all, it was a great stay!

We had such a fun time staying at this beautiful waterfront property! The kids had so much fun playing in the pool and lake. The trees provided great privacy and shade. We enjoyed this property so much for our group! Will come back!

The property was absolutely gorgeous, but i did find some issues that i thought were not taken care of and could have been avoided and addressed prior to our arrival. The outdoor address post was on the ground from a previous incident and not inspected or fixed prior to our arrival. Found lots of stains on the carpet in master bedroom and other bedrooms as well. The air conditioning was an issue during our entire stay and communicated with management. A technician arrived the next day to try to get it taken care of, but due to the nature of our personal business, by the time the technician arrived, we (my husband) had already taken care of the issue multiple times in the attic because the temperature in the house was getting hotter by the minute @78 degrees. The kitchen pots and pans and additional kitchen ware need some updating. The pillows in all the bedrooms were very worn out and need some updating. The water feature in the pool and the bubblers were not working and was communicated to management as well. We also found lots of debris in the bottom of the pool in addition to glasses from a previous rental. All this debris was quickly stirred up and made the pool dirtier as my family and i tried to enjoy the outdoors. The outdoor patio furniture was not cleaned and found lots of debris and dead bugs from days prior. I was disappointed with management as we felt the property was just not cleaned and or addressed or ready for our arrival. Very disappointed!!

Beautiful property that fit our needs. Enough room for our group to relax. We saw the majority of the eclipse, around 3 minutes, and we took amazing photos. Traveled to a real Texas BBQ at Coopers in Llano for a great meal. Pool was great, and got to go kayaking. Overall a fantastic experience

We walked in and felt like we were entering a mansion in Heaven!! It was gorgeous inside and out. Perfect back patio and pool area for our family. We had a fabulous weekend and considered this beautiful property as a magnificent blessing! Property Manager was excellent in every way: available, efficient, very knowledgeable and helpful. Perfect weekend!!

So nice to be able to have lakefront-water view. Nice to be able to keep boat on the boat lift at house, get off lake and go right into the nice pool. Pool had nice shade. House had plenty of space for 9 people. House was very nice. No complaints whatsoever. Would come again for sure.

This is the first time we have stayed at this property and we will be coming back! The house is lovely, perfect for entertaining and comfortable for guests. And a great outdoor area. We used the boat slip and lift. Everything was operational which had not always been our experience at other properties. We were made to feel welcome and look forward to the next stay!

113 Wennmohs was our favorite VRBO. Wonderful one story, great garage, pool, boat lift, kitchen. Very clean. Our kids had a great time and so did our friends that we brought.

We absolutely loved staying at this property for our Thanksgiving week family get-away. The house is amazing, the kitchen is really well-stocked, and the furnishings are all very comfortable. We loved that we could bring our dog with us. The management company is incredible and receptive to any questions or needs we had. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. The wireless signal was struggling to let us connect and they took care of the problem asap so we could access all of the smart apps on the TV as well as our own devices. They stayed in touch and made sure we were not in need of anything - one of the best management teams I’ve had the pleasure of staying with (Horseshoe Bay Living). It rained most of the week but the amazing house made staying inside or being on the porch absolutely ok with us! It’s a great house. Would absolutely stay again!

We really enjoyed our weekend stay. The house was beautiful and was very good for our family of six adults and one infant. There was plenty of room for everyone. The house was very clean and the backyard was incredible. The pool was very clean and there was direct access to the lake which was just a few steps from the backyard. Would return again.
The only significant negative was the poor internet access. The home’s Wi-Fi did not work well at all. Unable to reliably read or send email. Unable to reliably read anything on the internet. Though there was a television in every room and on the patio, there was no cable service. Only streaming capabilities. Because of the poor internet access, the things you were trying to watch were “buffering” every few minutes for a long time on each occasion. It would have been impossible to work remotely from this house. For as much cost per night for this house, I would expect the Internet access to be much better.

Great Family Lakehouse
Wonderful 4th of July weekend with our family! Loved the nice clean house, location, beautiful cove and swimming pool. The rental company was so helpful, and not only did they provide a wonderful welcome gift, and check on us to make sure we were enjoying our stay, they also noticed and removed a huge wasp nest from a tree while keeping us informed the entire time. Would definitely rent from them again.

My husband and I were in town visiting friends and finding a potential 2nd home in the area. This home has a great layout and the backyard is a little oasis. I would definitely recommend staying at this property.
