About this house rental
You’ll find comfort and sophistication in this historic, yet contemporary home in the village. Filled with natural light, you’re nestled away from the street and situated in nature, so even though you’re in town it’s easy to forget with the lush flora and fauna surrounding you.
With 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, 1 half bath, and a private outdoor shower, you’ll also find an impeccably maintained rear lawn with a heated salt pool, a hammock for napping and staring at the sky, a spacious outdoor dining area, and a back deck connected to the kitchen - a perfect perch for taking in the morning with coffee or tea.
The main floor features a freshly remodeled gourmet kitchen with marble countertops, a center island with stools, and a cozy breakfast nook that seats up to 6. Alongside is the dining room that seats 8, separate laundry room, and the living room complete with a gorgeous fireplace, Samsung Frame TV, bay window seat, and built in bookcases filled with a photographic library framing a Steinway piano. The living room opens onto an enclosed front sitting porch (perfect for reading). A half bath with pocket door completes the first floor.
The second floor includes a primary suite with queen bed, sitting area and ensuite bath with glass-enclosed shower. Off the hallway are two guest bedrooms - one bedroom has two twin beds (one with trundle); the second, sunny guest bedroom has a full size bed and antique desk. Accessible from the hallway is a full bath with windowed tub and shower rounding out the second floor.
A *rare* find in Sag Harbor Village - Enjoy your home away from home as you relax in the pool, take walks around the corner to fabulous local eatery Harbor Market, hang out and play on the lawn, entertain and dine al fresco (the outdoor table comfortably sits 10!) surrounded by twinkling lights, wisteria vine, cedar, and slate.
The property is perfectly situated — a few blocks from Havens Beach as well as a short stroll (862 steps if you’re counting!) to cinema and shopping on Main Street. Picking up your friends or family from the city? It’s only a 10-minute walk to the Sag Harbor Jitney stop and a 12-minute drive to the Bridgehampton train station. Driving out? There is ample parking in the driveway for 3 cars.
Soon you’ll be at the beach, napping in a backyard hammock, making an incredible dinner, discovering restaurants, shops, and more in our historic village.
