Superb

The room I stayed was neat and spacious. Locotion was good in the centre of the town and close to good restaurants. Property is well maintained with good staffs. Stay was very Comfortable. Loved the stay. I will always recommend.

The room i stayed was big and spacious the staffs where good . location also was good center of town .

its also the location the room i got was at ground level , There was a balcony for our room but unfortunately the view was blocked by another building and

Pleasant

Location was good, and close to good restaurants / places to do some shopping of souvenirs. Good point for the staff: they pointed us in the good direction for this restaurant.

Staff could have avoided to ping us multiple time via whatsapp to ask us repeatively when we were going, to share position, to share exact time of arrival... Staff promised us to have breakfast at 7h45 (we had early cab to go somewhere else), which we actually did not have. So when we spoke to the manager we were promised to have it at 8h, which we did not have. Then we left at 8h30, without breakfast (even though, if you check in booking, they clearly say that breakfast is included). Also, when it was described to us, it seems that this hypothetical breakfast would have been delivered in our respective rooms, when we would have preferred to share it with my friend in a common room dedicated for breakfast.

approach is a bit tricky.we had taken quadruple room and felt it was too pricy for the facility in the hotel

nothing. what is being advertised and what is being seen there is entirely different. bath rooms where leaking . on complaining nothing done by the poker faced reception guy

nothing likeable there at an over charged property. see above. booking . com should not advertise. they can’t even arrange break fast ath their premise shows pure money minded ness and not service mentality. reception guy blindly conveyed to me we have to pay 20 percent commission so this much facilities only can be given. felt disgusting after hearing it. this is after paying approx 8000 rupees for a night

when ever i come to madikeri i will only stay at coorg ashoka palace since the recepitionist GOWRI

i think u should arrange breakfast at your premises instead of arranging at SAMUDRA then customers will opt to move to coorg palace

The room was very neat and spacious.

The hotel did not have a in-house restaurant..they gave a coupon for a breakfast which was 1.5km from the hotel..so we have to take an auto.while returning we didnt get any auto so we walked back to the hotel with our 2 kids.

The location was good

Some basic utensils like plates,spoons etc and an induction stove should be provided. Breakfast should be provided in the rooms and not coupons in a nearby restaurant.

If you don't have many options then can go for it

Room was of good size, and the building is quite new.

There is no road in front of hotel - in rainy times there's water accumulation that'll spoil your footwear. Also they don't have their inhouse kitchen. For the complementary breakfast you will have to collect coupons from reception and go to another hotel which is more than 1 km away

The location was good to walk around to find food and other room essentials like water, coffee etc.

There is NO room service, or food in this property. The free breakfast is a scam as they give us a coupon for a roadside hotel which is 2 kms away from the place. The parking in the hotel is also pathetic with water logging in the basement parking lot. There is no dining in the hotel, not even tea or coffee either.

Rooms spacious, airy, nice balcony and clean bathrooms with modern fixtures. It is close to the town market.

For the breakfast one has to go to another hotel. However they do provide you in the room if requested.

The room was quite spacious and comfortable

The ordered food. I ordered dinner. They have a menu card from Choice restaurant. I called the restaurant to check on available items before ordering the food at the reception. Instead of mixed fried rice I got chicken fried rice, the taste and quality was pathetic. They get the food from some local shop nearby but charge as per choice restaurant menu. After that I went out and bought food myself from good restaurants nearby.

No daily cleaning , No change of bed linen for 3 days , No garbage bag in dustbin , No dustbin provided in bathroom , No lift , No wifi internet , Approach road in poor condition
