Chez Béa

Un très bon accueil, avec un petit déjeuner délicieux, servi avec des produits de qualité et du fait maison. Béa est vraiment une personne très sympa, elle prend le temps de discuter, donner des conseils pour visiter et faire connaître sa ville,.. C'est un très bon rapport qualité prix, je vous le conseille.

Beautiful place

We had the most fabulous stay at this B&B. We adored the colourful accents in each room, the beautiful decor and all the interesting ornaments and plants that she has gathered from different places. The bed was very comfortable and she had placed a lovely chair infront of the window for admiring the garden and to lounge as you read. The owner was so friendly and charming, providing an impeccably presented breakfast. The cherry on the cake was the wildflower garden as you walk down to your car😊. This place was a wonderful stop off enroute to our ferry in Cherbourg. We would highly recommend.

Adorable house and owner, nice stop before Mont Saint Michel

The owner is absolutely adorable, always smiling and very careful to the guest’s needs. Breakfast is delicious, from salty to sweeties you’ll appreciate everything

Totally, absolutely, completely WONDERFUL stay!!!!

The hostess is an amazing person who does her best to let the stay very enjoyable. The room and all the facilities were clean and very neat. The breaksfast is an all handmade by Béa and it s just tasty and generous. An unforgettable experience, that i am seeking to renew for sure, whenever i get the opportunity for. Thanks a lot for everything!!

The best in Granville

Beatrice and Xiavier treated me like I was family. The house is beautiful, comfortable, and decorated with Xavier's art. I sometimes find it hard to talk to people but they were the friendliest and the kindest people I met in France, and the breakfast was possibly the best I've ever had, c'est bon!

Welcomed as a guest, not just a customer

Staying with Bea was a warm and welcoming experience, not transactional like so many room rentals these days. I felt like a guest, not just a customer. The breakfast was amazing, lots of variety, much of it homemade, and all very tasty. An Italian couple stayed there the same night and it was fun and convivial to share conversation at breakfast. Bea and her husband also gave me helpful travel tips for the next leg of my trip to Mont St Michel. They were very kind and accommodating.

The location is easily accessible by car, not so much if you're on foot. The city of Granville has a local free shuttle bus between Bea's neighborhood and the city center, but it doesn't run on holidays (and perhaps not on Sundays, I'm not sure). I arrived on a holiday and luckily someone I met on the train offered to give me a ride to Bea's. Otherwise I would have had to take a taxi or walk 40 minutes. And nearby dining options are very limited if you don't have a car.

We loved our staying at this B&B, the hosts are really nice and Bea prepares a delicious breakfast. The room was quite big and very clean. We did not have time to relax in the garden, but only the view was relaxing.

Please take into consideration that the bathroom is shared, but it is really clean (believe me!).

Lovely home with caring owners within a short drive of downtown Granville

The hosts, Béatrice and Xavier were super hospitable, interesting people who have a lovely home in a quiet residential suburb of Granville. They take a genuine interest in their guests. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever had in a B and B, and Béa takes a real pride in her (mostly) home-made creations like 'riz au lait' and pancakes. The couple are true art lovers and have really decorated their home with care and creativity. I loved it!

Personally, I prefer a stand-up shower as opposed to a bathtub with a hand-held shower unit, but the bathroom is otherwise super clean and lovely, so I would never turn down this lodging based on the bathing arrangement.
