Diamond Beach 513 is a 2/2 condominium located at the much sought-after Diamond Beach Resort. This luxurious property boasts both an indoor and one-of-a-kind outdoor swimming pool with 300' lazy river. The amenities at Diamond Beach Resort seem endless - game room, work out facility, business center (for those who must work while on vacation), cabanas, wine room, movie rooms (by reservation).

Guests walk into this beautifully decorated condo which features an open concept living/dining/kitchen area. Dining area has table for six, kitchen includes granite counters, stainless appliances and all the kitchen tools necessary to prepare any meal a guest may have in mind. The primary bedroom has a queen bed, television, and ceiling fan with en suite bathroom (step in shower). The second bedroom has a queen bed and ceiling fan. The living area has ample seating including a full size sleeper sofa. Guests will enjoy the most spectacular morning views of the sunrise from the balcony - above the tree line where birds fly and shrimp boat views are in abundance. Relax and watch as the brown pelicans swoop by circling and diving into the Gulf of Mexico.

This is a strictly non-smoking unit (no smoking on the balcony, please). Sorry, no pets allowed at Diamond Beach Galveston . Parking is limited to 2 cars. For guests traveling with more than six individuals, rent the unit 514 which is located next door to this beauty.

Owners may not be aware that this condo needs some sprucing up. There are no blinds/curtains on the living room wall of windows. Took the time to go to the Ryson office, but never heard back from them. Good resort and location. Ask the present condition before you rent.

Very nice rental. Place was clean. Beds were comfy, but a bit high. Recommend a small step stool to assist with getting in and out of bed. Very quiet. My niece enjoyed the indoor pool and the lazy river. Would definitely stay there again.

The property was very nice. Things you can improve on, more garage bags and paper towels. We had a big water bug in the room. Some guests in the pool area where improperly dresses for a family friendly vacation.

Great amenities at the property. Kitchen could have had a few more items (crock pot, more than 1 baking dish, etc.) and bedding was a little sparse for hide a bed (sheets, pillows, etc). Overall great stay though. Would come again.

Lovely 2 bed 2bath over looking the gulf & x-large pool! Far enough away from hustle/bustle of touristy part of island but close enough to drive there & enjoy the east end/harbor area. We were there during off season & enjoyed the quietness of the area of the resort.

Condo was perfect minus a few issues - the ice maker did not work, the ceiling fans were all broken and the hot water in the kitchen sink took a very long time to come on. The vertical blinds were so mangled when we arrived that we couldn’t open them to go to the balcony and my husband had to fix them. I tried contacting the property manager to let them know of the issues, but had to leave a message with no call back. The owner does not leave a garage door opener for you, so we had to park outside the garage. At one point the parking outside the garage was full and there was nothing that the front desk could do either. Besides those issues, this property is great! The pool is amazing and the lazy River is awesome too. They have great security measures that keep out anyone that is not a guest. Condo is very clean and we will definitely be back to Diamond Beach in the future.

The property itself has a awesome lazy river, nice pools/hot tub, little game room for kids which we loved. Easy access to the beach, and a small mini mart and liquor store across the street. Negative is room was not clean at arrival (dirty towels still in bathroom on floor, dirty sinks, crumbs in microwave, dirty oven, dirty floors) back door made a horrible almost alarm sound first night we were there (we fixed) called Sunday evening and e-mauled to report these things and that master fan didn’t work (we did find two box fans in closet) didn’t get a call back till Tuesday afternoon. They did offer to clean but I already had. They say they are refunding my cleaning fee, we will see. My rating is place and room nice, managing system and cleaning not great. Still had a great trip although now I have to wonder if my bedding had even been washed :(

Recognize that you are working with a rental company and not an individual so communication and policies are less personal and accommodating. Had stayed at property md k ew what to expect. The differences for this unit are 2 queen beds, one en-suite with rainfall shower no tub. Higher floor gives you better view of gulf that unit on 2nd floor. Review the Diamond beach website to clRify amenities available on site vs nearby. Recommend the onsite spa. Diamond beach resort staff were very nice.

While a hurricane shut down Galveston, it never hit and the property refused to let us check in on our check in date and further refused to credit us back for the day we lost. The property was below avaerage and the inflexibility of refunding a lost day due to events outside of anyone’s control.

Property is beautiful excellent location pool, lazy river and hot tub excellent. This is a perfect place for a family lots of activities for kids, teens, adults and very safe. I recommend this property and will come again.

The property was excellent. Felt very comfortable during the COVID situation. They showed concern for their guests by having hand sanitizer stations, limiting elevator occupancy, providing social distancing and enforcing the wearing of masks. The condo itself was perfect. Beautiful view and very comfy. Would definitely like to stay there again.

Signed rental documents online but still had to fill them out on arrival which was a mild nuisance. Relatively newbuild in good shape. Close to the surf and enjoyed the ocean wave sounds and the seabirds always cruising close and taking advantage of the building updraft. Recommended.

The internet was unreliable - wasn’t able to work from condo. Plus the weather stripping on the patio door needed replaced because the wind made a loud piercing sound which kept us up at night. The resort is perfect- condo was disappointing.

The condo is in a great location, however, not very well stocked. We were disjointed that there was not even Salt & Pepper supplied in the condo. I stay in many vrbo condos and usually the basics are there. Even Oil & Vinegar and things like that. Anyone coming to stay for 4 days or even a week doesn't want to go out and stock the kitchen with all basic spices, etc. There was also a threatening note that if you cool the condo to lower than 74 degrees. you will have to pay a hefty fine. Really? Not good! The patio door didn't lock, the electricity was turned off (planned outage, without notice) for two hours right when we were trying to get ready for a dinner, hot water was hard to come by, because it took 15 minutes to make it to the condo, etc. Even though you see several 5 Star ratings, this condo is a 3 Star Overall, due to the poor management. We will stay down there again next year, but it may need to be a different condo.

Awesome rental! Love this condo. Wi fi password needs updating on chart in condo though! Love this gorgeous condo. Would love to stay in it again! A few issues needing repair in master bath and toliet area that i brought to their attention. They offered repair that day, but we chose to have them repair after our checkout date. Awesome staff, especially Christie at the Ryson office..

We will be back

We we in Galveston for the fall Texas Architects Convention but wanted a beach location close by. We were attracted to to the location and simple welcoming elegance of the decor. Yes the blinds in living room along with a fan in MB (needed repair to control speed with remote control) but it did not negatively impact our stay at all. The pool looked amazing even if we were not in swim season.

We loved the property, condo, pool, lazy river! The only thing was the keys to the condos didn’t work very well. That was annoying. But we worked thru it. We will be back with kids and grandkids as there are a lot things to do without ever leaving the property. Thanks for a lovely stay!
