Breakfast wasn't very good.
Was very dated, room was in sad shape. And the bathroom was the smallest I been to in a hotel
4.0 / 10.0
The room had a full refrigerator, burner, pots and a toaster so that was nicer than expected.
The rates were elevated but so were other places so that was just what it was. I was there 7 nights and no maid service at all - except one night at 9:30 someone was running a vacuum in the hallway. The door didn't work right - the light never turned green - and I had to have the keys reset multiple times. The back door didn't lock and the location is right next to a busy truck stop so it would have "felt" safer if the door at least locked.

Hotel was very clean, Staff were friendly and helpful. Outside there were lots of smokers close to the doors and they made a lot of mess outside the hotel. kids running around a lot.
Smokers outside the doors and mess outside the doors.

The front desk lady at first was not at all friendly ,But she was probably having a bad day, So, no biggie to me.
The cleaning staff were awesome, I tipped a guy for helping me carry a bag inside from the parking lot. Friendly.
That is the most negative part, going through hallways and steps to get outside.
The room smelled REALLY REALLY bad, like cigarettes. It said" non -smoking," but that stink cannot be covered up.My migraine was proof. I had to sleep with a clean shirt over my face, or move motels at 1:00am
I liked the price. But, I would rather pay double than get a migraine from smells. Cat urine smell in the bathroom too,
BUT, it was clean everywhere.

The staff was very nice and helpful. I got this room because they were pet friendly.. For a room that you didn't want to pay to much but didn't want anything to be to ghetto. It was perfect. Fair room clean pet friendly and the staff was nice and the place was safe.
Iowa is humid and warm so one should get a rental car.

Vending machine had everything we needed from drinks to frozen food. Full fridge was a plus. Pool was great. Right across the street from adventureland was the best.
The room and bathroom were very small.
7.0 / 10.0
The room was comfortable, clean and had a hot plate and full fridge.
The hallways and exterior needs some attention but it looks like it's in the process of a remodel.

The building didn’t once catch fire.
Just the building and management of the building and the trash and broken locks and lack of coffee and bugs
9.0 / 10.0
The front desk lady was friendly and very comical. The location was perfect and the price was reasonable. Loved how the room was furnished.
No shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom and one tiny little soap. The heater/air conditioner blew out a bad smell. The property had garbage all over the ground and no where for smokers to smoke.

Didn't get breakfast. Got to the hotel to check in only to find our room had been canceled and given away after I had confirmed on line and by phone!
I confirmed our room 2 times, online and by phone, only to arrive and find that it had been canceled and no rooms available

The convenience to the highway.
The remodeling was ongoing. I was not told there would be no kitchen in my room. I was not told I wouldn’t have a desk and chair.

The room was not clean when we checked in. We were not given a different room. We had to leave so someone could come in and clean our room. We expected a clean room at 3pm when we arrived. No discount was given!! Won't be back here again
