it feels like home

I don’t even know where to start because everything was fabulous. the rooms were so spacious and clean, beds were very comfy. the hostel is very close to Paliton beach which is very nice and also just a short ride to San Juan. Ervin, the host, is such a lovely person and wants everyone to feel happy and comfortable. he gave us so many recommendations and was always open to have a chat. also the two little dogs running around in the garden made it even more special 🐶 I’ve never felt more welcomed in a hostel than at fable!

Hotel with bunk beds - honestly shockingly good conditions

Felt like a hotel with bunk beds. Hot showers and clean facilities. Mika is amazing and super helpful. Family dinners are great to met people

We absolutely loved our stay in Fable, and found it so hard to leave! In such a short stay, we quickly found home and family. It was a great space to chill, get to know others, and unwind after a long day of exploring the island. Coming together for dinner in a different restaurant every evening was my favorite! Wifi was consistently great throughout our stay. It was also very clean, comfortable and spacious - can’t wait to come back!

Exceptional. I’ll definitely stay at this hostel when I come back

Kudos to the owner! Ervin is very friendly and warmth. You would not feel as if you are merely just a guest, rather he would make you feel welcomed. I was treated really well during my stay. Plus, their amenities are superb and rooms are spacious hence sleeping was indeed comfortable. They also got really nice and super friendly staffs. Overall, I felt that I was not traveling solo at all.

THIS PLACE IS A MUST!

Home away from home. Clean, extremely easy to meet up with people (daily family dinners), free breakfast, lovely staff and few minutes walking distance from a lovely beach where you can watch the best sunsets. Yes you need to rent a scooter to get around, but the island is literally the best place to start your first ride. Roads are not busy at all and very well paved! Lots of people including myself ended up extending multiple times This place is a MUST. Worth every penny I spent

THE place to stay on Siquijor

Amazing host, who was so helpful with everything Really comfortable and spacious dorms with privacy curtains Mopeds for hire Beach within walking distance Nice common area Couple of restaurants within walking distance

Could have comfier chairs in the common area It flooded a lot when we were there and was hard to stay dry - but that was exceptional weather so I doubt it would be an issue most of the time

it doesn’t get better than this!

Loved everything about it. the rooms where clean, bigger than most hostels and had curtains which I loved. Ervin was so helpful and kind, Anja him anything and he’ll know! if you need to rent scooters he will arrange that to at the hostel!

That I had to leave and that it was fully booked so I couldn’t stay haha!

pretty good place. Host was helpful. accomodations are fine. .intimate feeling.

quiet street off the main drag. about a 1/4 mile walk to beach. was able to rent a scooter from them, staff was atentive. accomofations are adequate. small facility. Not a party hostel which is good for me.

no food served. breakfast extremely light. but there are other places to eat nearby. beach was covered in seaweed but i am told that thisi is not always the case.

one of my favourite hostels so far, can’t reccomend enough!

really nice atmosphere, free coffee and pastries were a lovely addition and brought everyone to the common area in the mornings. super easy to meet people but also chill enough to relax on your own for a day and get a good nights sleep. also the dorms were huge!!

Top 3 hostel in SE Asia, chilled vibe exemplary staff!

Top 3 hostel after 6 months in SE Asia. brilliant host and staff who made every single guest feel welcome and kept the place extremely tidy. Really nice vibe about the common area where everyone can chill and chat. Comfy beds and HUGE rooms so you’ve got lots of personal space. Free breakfast in the morning of cakes or baked goods which were delicious as well as coffee and tea all day. Would definitely recommend to all staying in Siquijor!

Only thing this place is missing is organised day trips. a daily van to some attractions like the waterfall, beaches and caves would have been nice to see for those uncomfortable on a scooter. However this is probably the best place ever to learn. roads are super quiet and there’s 2 turns on the whole island.

Amazing!!

Everything! Very clean rooms. The most helpfull and friendly co-workers. Enough showers & toilets. It was really convient that we were able to rent a scooter at the hostel (only 350 p/day!) we felt really welcome, thanks!!!

Chill cosy amazing hostel

amazing hostel! HUGE dorm rooms, lovely common area and just such a great chill vibe. Ervin (the owner) is amazing and his dogs are the cutest. Its a social place without being too loud or crazy. I will come back here for sure!

water pressure could be better and maybe add a couple chairs inside the dorms.

Nice and clean place with spacious dorm rooms. They also offer a simple toast and cake breakfast which is included in the stay. You can also rent scooters at the place for 350 peso per day which is a great deal. The owner and staff are also super friendly and helpful :).

Possibly the best hostel I’ll ever stay in

Okay my opinion is a biased, but this was the best place from the whole Philippines. And not just because I’ve met people there with whom I traveled almost for the rest of the Philippines. Also you won’t find hosts like Erwin that often.

Best stay I had in the Philippines

I felt very much at home since the moment I arrived. The owner is very friendly and willing to help. You can rent a bike at Fable and drive around the island.

Definitely recommended!!!!

One of the most beautiful facilities I have encountered in my travels. Ervin has an amazing eye for detail and he has anticipated every single need that a backpacker could have. The breakfast was fantastic, the showers and all rooms are super large and clean and comfortable and the general vibe is friendly and positive. Also, the volunteers of the hostel has all the answers and they are super friendly, fun and helpful. Great people! FANTASTIC hostel to stay!!

I liked everything. I would have stayed longer if I could.
