Discover an amazing part of WA and its history!

Mundaring Weir is an old heritage hotel with so much to discover, educating visitors about the history of WA just by staying there. The customer service was amazingly friendly. We stayed there while hiking on the Bibbulmun Track, but I will definitely be going back just to spend more time exploring Mundaring Weir and its surrounds.

A cosy stay in a beautiful area!

Beautifully situated with quaint and cosy accommodations. We loved having the fireplace. The kids appreciated the scooters and balls to play basketball.

Fantastic location and staff, pity hotel is not so well maintained.

Location, bar & restaurant service.

Room was not clean, plenty cobwebs on the ceiling and fan. Top of cupboard not cleaned for months. Overall room and hotel needs a major overhaul.

If you reason to be out there I guess it will do

The sheets and towels were clean and bed and pillows comfortable, water was hot for shower the rest was very poor

Lots, the price and the place is in poor condition and dirty but if you have a reason to have to be out there you can get a night's sleep

This hotel shows its age. Lots of history to been seen and learnt.

Meals are beautiful. The location is a little way out of the town centre but is very peaceful and quiet. Great location for nature walks.

Very good

The gardens were awesome, the tin roof so you could here the rain and seeing a family of kangaroos hop past while sitting on the verandah overlooking the forest. The food was excellent also. Best bed ever.

No flyscreen so mozzies got in but told the manager and I expect that will be fixed asap.

Quaint hotel in beautiful Mundaring lots of history here a little run down but lovely. The staff were very helpful the rooms clean. Everything I needed for the night a comfortable bed.

Old, charming and comfortable

Very friendly staff! Relaxed atmosphere, quiet and peaceful night. The grounds were well lit and the playground was a lovely surprise for the kids. Comfy beds, good hot shower and ice cold air con. I imagine the fireplace in the corner would be a delight in winter, maybe I'll go back just for that!

Not much to dislike, the door could do with a curtain to block a bit of light but the room was great. I've seen some reviews saying it's run down, and yeah it's showing its age but I found the whole place charming.

What a wonderful place to base yourself for a few days exploring and bush walking.

My sister and I stayed here on a Sunday night, as we were doing the Sunset and Pilates hike with off the beaten track. The tour leaves from Mundaring Weir car park which is 5 minutes away by car. Which meant when we finished which was at 8 pm we didn’t have a long drive home or to other accommodation.

It would have been good if the hotel stayed open for dinner on Sundays, however it didn’t worry us as we knew this ahead of time and I had packed a picnic dinner for us.
