Very pleasant

New, quiet, out of town , plenty of room, looks much nicer inside than outside ( not quite finished), but wasn’t an issue , nice size kitchen

Great stay close to Kailua Kona & snorkeling

This place matched the photos exactly. It was an easily accessible location that kept me in proximity to much of what Kailua Kona has to offer. It can be a bit disorienting when you arrive if you arrive in the dark (nighttime is intensely dark in Hawaii); however, the host offered excellent directions so that I could find my bearings! The unit is well appointed with everything you may need including cutlery, dishes, a kettle, bath towels, washer/dryer, and fast wi-fi. I quite enjoyed my stay, and wish I had been there longer! If you're in the area, be sure to book a farm tour at Heavenly Hawaiian Kona Coffee and/or take a shelter dog from the Hawaii Island Humane Society out on a field trip - both are only about a 5 minute drive away from this place!

Very few drawbacks - perhaps hooks in the bathroom, in addition to the two towel rods that are available? The LED lighting was cute but wasn't responsive to its remote control, perhaps new batteries are required? I wouldn't consider these drawbacks as they are easily remedied.

We had a great stay, and enjoyed the use of amenities and loved the beach gear.

The amenities were amazing. And the beach gear really came in handy when we decided to go see sea turtles. And we did!

Air conditioner was quite noisy.

Convenient location; clean with well-stocked kitchen

Really nice cozy place with plenty of space for two. It was an easy 10-min drive to Kona, right down the street from Heavenly Hawaiian coffee farm (also groceries, coffee shop, and poke), and maybe about 20-30 min to Two Step Beach. All in all, a great, peaceful location. We really liked that there was a washer/dryer as we were in the middle of a long trip; also loved the fully stocked kitchen as it enabled us to make some meals. Loved that they provided beach gear like flippers, boogie board, etc. AC worked well. Everything was nice and clean, and check-in directions were helpful to find the place!

Best place we stayed in by far!

Matt was an amazing host. This was our first stay in Hawaii and set a very high bar right at the beginning of our trip. This was by far our favorite stay over the course of 3 weeks on 3 different islands! There was nothing to complain about. Everything was relaxed and easy, we felt safe and and taken care of yet had a lot of privacy.

Big Island Get Away

Loved everything about this house. It doesn't look like much on the outside, but it is far enough from the main road, so barely any cars passing by, no loud noises of downtown since it's tucked away in a residential area. LR couch and bed were comfortable to sleep on. Bathroom was clean with all the toiletries you need. There's a full kitchen, washer and dryer. TV had all the streaming apps Netflix, Disney+, Youtube, etc. The morning view was beautiful and it was cool seeing the geckos on the windows at night!

Not really a con for me, but the microwave is set on top of the fridge. Anyone 5 1/2 ft (167cm) and under is going to have a difficult time reaching the buttons and taking out their food without a step stool. Also, while not the owners fault at all, the invasive coqui frogs' whistles and calls around the area can get pretty loud and persistent into the night, just an FYI.

Exceptional!

Everything was exceptional. The home was clean & inviting. Comfortable was an understatement. We have never stayed at a vacation rental home, but this by far was the best place we have ever booked. Matt was very accommodating & was available whenever we had questions or needed something. We had everything we needed for a quiet, comfortable stay

The shower was very slippery & I had to put a towel on the shower floor to shower & not slip. This could be a potentially dangerous situation. I did mention to Matt that shower strips or something should be placed in the shower. It is also very dark on the property at night, & although there are solar lights, they are not very bright. Also, some sort of strong lighting at the proprty entrance would make it easier to locate from the main road. Matt has done a very good job of trying to make it easier for guests & he was still working on improvements. This is a great place to stay! If we ever come back, we will certainly stay here!

I have to admit that from outside doesn't look like much. BUT once you get in you don't want to leave. It is beautiful, clean and the owners are awesome. They help you with anything you need as well as right away they send you a list of things to do and see. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND.

We were very surprised by this house. It exceeded our expectations. It was really comfy, we felt like at home. Couch was a bit too soft, but that didn't matter in the end. And the yard looked incredible :) highly recommended

Very beautiful, extremely clean house with fully equipped kitchen and nice front loan . In close proximity to any beautiful hiking trails, beaches and coffee plantations, as well as downtown of Kona and groceries stores.

Great spot to relax.

Location was residential, nice trees and flowers around it. Close to town, but a peaceful spot. Room was like a large studio, the bedroom has a separation wall from the LR. Hosts were very nice. He provide some beach material, which we weren't there long enough to use. Nice kitchen.

Air conditioner is near main bed, I am a light sleeper so I had to turn it off to sleep, but the evening was cool enough.

Matt was super easy to get ahold of and made getting in extremely easy. He sent us directions and even a video to make getting to the location simple. The place is cute and clean, and there’s nothing we didn’t like about it! Thanks again!

This place is kept spotless clean. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. check in was a breeze, and amenities were more than sufficient. It was extremely quiet at night and into the morning. Very comfortable stay.

Hidden Gem!

This place is amazing! It’s much better than the photos. The owner is super responsive, it’s VERY clean, it’s new, it’s spacious and it has a great vibe. Bonus: it has a washing machine and dryer. We would highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting the area. Aloha.

Amazing inside, super clean, comfortable, wonderful host, definitely a place I will stay again!

This place is amazing inside! Everything is exceptionally clean all the appliances and AC worked great and the finishes in this place are top of the line as well as the bed and couch are super comfy. Our host was very accommodating and gave us great recommendations for our trip. I definitely will be coming back next year!

The only the thing that would keep us from coming back is it was too hot.

The cleanliness of the place. Very nice and smelled good.

It was too hot. Only one wash cloth and the hot water didn't get hot.
