About this cottage rental

Wee Daffodil is a classic 1939 beach cottage located in the heart of Folly Beach. Just steps to the restaurants and shops of Center St, it is also a very short two block stroll to the beach and newly reopened Folly Pier. It is perfect for a cozy getaway for up to 2-3 guests.

Recently renovated, refreshed and updated, Wee Daffodil features all new furnishings and decor, two 55" smart tvs and high speed internet. The quaint coastal cottage kitchen features all of your home comforts, and counter seating for 2. Wee Daffodil has two private outdoor living areas: a small covered porch facing W. Cooper Ave and a private deck facing the Daffodil courtyard. An off street parking space is guaranteed and a beach access path is directly across the street. Wee Daffodil is part of the landmark Daffodil compound and shares an outdoor common area that includes: lounge areas, garden shower, and beautiful lush tropical landscaping.

My wife and I recently spent a week in the Daffodil cottage at folly beach. Cottage #2 was the perfect size for the two of us with many small touches to make it feel like home (a comfy king bed, strong AC, new appliances, big TVs and solid water pressure). Some of these features are oddly hard to find in rentals. The location is perfect and just a few minute walk to restaurants, stores, the beach and pier. The location was quiet with no disturbances from the neighbors or street. It is also an easy drive into Charleston to visit other nearby attractions. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Folly Beach.

Great location that made it super convenient to walk to downtown and the beach. It was just enough room for my wife and baby to be comfortable. Nice outdoor living spaces as well with the nice front and back porches. Host was very helpful and communicative during the check-in process and accommodated our needs.

The place was pristine and decorated beautifully. It had everything we could want. Perfect for two people and a very short walk to the beach and all the restaurants. The owners even dropped off two beach towels for us to use. We were happy they also had beach chairs. The only thing we could have used was a beach umbrella. Would highly recommend this if place.

Clean, thoughtfully appointed, and pleasant. The care put into making visitors comfortable reminded me of B and B's on The Select Registry, which is a resource we often use when we travel and want to splurge on nice accommodations. Things like coffee, cozy places to sit, places to put suitcases and hang towels, and two lovely outdoor spaces for relaxing. The decor was practical, fun, and elegant in a beachy way without being fussy. Highly recommend☺️

This cottage couldn’t have been more perfect for our long weekend in town for a wedding. It’s beautiful inside and out, is decorated perfectly, has everything you could ever need, and is the perfect distance to the main street in Folly and the beach. The special touch of fresh flowers and cuttings didn’t go unnoticed. We can’t wait to come back and bring our kiddo!

The Wee Daffodil is a perfectly charming little beach shack in the best location. We arrived at night and it was a little hard to identify which property was which, so maybe use a flash light to make sure you are approaching the right one! The home has two nice TV’s and gets plenty of natural sunlight. The only thing I was disappointed by is the linens are washed with a heavily scented detergent or dryer sheet (Snuggle maybe?) that smelled like baby powder. They also presented brand new unwashed towels which we could not use, so we used our own. Center Street is obviously touristy, but we recommend Dead Low for your morning coffee, which feels a bit more local. For the beach, the further you go south, the better, e.g. 6th street is a good spot. There is also a fun spot to visit on the north tip of the island at the very end of E Ashley, you can park and walk out to an incredible view of the lighthouse. Enjoy!

Loved our stay at Wee Daffodil with enough amenities in the bungalow and others close by within walking! Everything was clean and lovely. Highlights are coffee on the covered porch in the morning, walking to the beach and shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend this place for 2 people as it’s quaint but small. Just the right size for a weekend getaway!

We enjoyed a quick 3 night stay in Folly Beach. Our cottage rental was in a perfect location and was the perfect size for my wife and I. Beautiful space with a great outdoor porch, just right for an afternoon beverage break! Short walk to the pier and beach and literally around the corner from wonderful restaurants. We definitely want to go back!

This was a nice, comfortable space to stay while my partner recovered from a surgery we traveled for, including some basics in the kitchen. Nice comfortable bed and good linens. Only flaw was due to the small size, the smoke alarm would go off whenever we baked something in the oven. Otherwise quite tranquil, we may stay again if we return for follow up appointments!

We have been vacationing on Folly Beach for 20 years. This property is special. The kitchen has everything you need. There are plenty of towels provided. The space is bright and clean and just right for 2 adults. The front porch and back deck are great as well. The bedroom is comfortable and spacious. Communication with the property manager was prompt and thorough. We truly enjoyed our stay & will definitely stay at the Wee Daffodil again.
