This property is a year-round gem for your visit to Custer, offering unparalleled access to the wonders of the Black Hills. Located just minutes from top attractions, you can enjoy thrilling activities like hot air balloon rides, up-close encounters with buffalo, or zooming through forest trails on a UTV. Whether you’re hiking, rock climbing, or kayaking, the Black Hills National Forest provides the perfect backdrop for your adventures, and this cabin is the ultimate home base to take it all in.

Inside, the cabin offers luxurious accommodations with four bedrooms, each featuring a king bed, 55-inch Smart TVs, and plenty of space to relax. The master and loft bedrooms come with private bathrooms for added comfort. The bar living room includes a queen sleeper sofa and a massive 70-inch Smart TV, making it perfect for movie nights or unwinding after a day of exploring.

Step outside to enjoy a massive wrap-around deck complete with a dining area that seats 10, two gas heaters, a hot tub, a fire pit (subject to local risk levels), and a gas grill for cookouts under the stars. The detached game room is a highlight, offering a sit-down arcade game with over 400 options, a 55-inch Smart TV, card games, and wall games for endless entertainment.

The modern kitchen is fully equipped with stainless-steel appliances, essential cooking supplies, a coffee maker, and even barbecue tools, ensuring you have everything you need to whip up a feast. For larger groups, the 6-person dining table and 4-person bar seating provide plenty of space to gather and share meals.

Additional amenities include premium linens and towels, a washer and dryer, complimentary toiletries, air conditioning, and ceiling fans to keep you comfortable. The property also features a fireplace for cozy evenings indoors and board games for family fun.

For peace of mind, quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and the property is equipped with three exterior security cameras and a noise monitoring system. Parking is convenient, with space for up to two vehicles in the garage and four to six more in the driveway.

Between each guest's stay, our dedicated team diligently cleans and prepares the property for your arrival. We take the utmost care to ensure every surface is immaculate and that all linens are crisp and fresh.

Please note that non-emergency maintenance will be addressed during business hours (8 a.m.–5 p.m.) and on weekdays only.

- For dogs: We don't allow puppies (less than 1 year old), German shepherds, or huskies.
- We do not allow cats.

- Maintenance aside from emergencies will only be able to be tended to during business hours 8am-5pm.

Cars are probably the best form of transportation and in the winter months 4x4 is recommended. You can rent side by sides at two businesses in Custer to explore the beautiful Black Hills! Custer also has bicycle rentals available.

Cancellation policy:
We offer free cancellation or 100% refund amount of payable if you cancel 30 days before check-in date. If canceling, we will charge a 20% processing fee (to cover credit card processing and administrative fees).

Additional rules

1. If any issues arise during your stay, it’s essential to communicate with us promptly. Good communication between the guest and host is critical to ensuring a smooth and successful stay. You should respond to us (the hosts) within 24 hours when we reach out to resolve an issue. In certain situations, we may need to send our case manager to review the situation in person to fully address any concerns.

2. It is a "must" to read the entire listing description and the house rules of our property. If, in this case, you DO NOT read over our listing description or house rules and are not comfortable with something that is clearly stated, we will uphold our cancellation policies.

3. No unregistered guests/visitors unless preapproved

4. Please keep noise to a minimum after 10PM and always be respectful of the neighbors and other tenants in the building.

5. No parties or events unless previously organized in writing with the host. If there’s evidence of a party or event, there’ll be an additional charge of $200.

6 If bringing a pet:
6.1 We don't allow puppies (less than 1 year old), German shepherds, or huskies. No cats allowed.
6.2 A pet fee of $100 is required. Please message us to let us know so that we can send a request for the deposit.
6.3 Please clean up after your dog (pick up your dog's poop)
6.4 No pets allowed on furniture or beds.

7. Follow state laws when using fire pit. Please make sure not to leave fires unattended.

8. For noise complaints:
8.1 If we receive any noise complaints from neighbors a security guard will be called out to the property at a cost of $85 to guests for the first call out.
8.2. If security is called a second time during your stay, you will be charged a $250 fee and be removed from the premises with no refund of your stay.

9. Please be mindful of neighboring personal property such as swing sets. Do not let children play on or use this without prior written permission. 

10. No smoking anywhere in this house. If we find evidence of smoking anywhere in the house you will be charged $250 for extra cleaning.

Follow all check-out procedures:
1. Take out all trash

2. Wash dishes (or start dishwasher)

Note:
* A $200 extra cleaning fee may be charged if home is left unreasonably dirty and requires more work than usual to clean (for example: mud on the couches). All damages will also be charged to guest.

* Check out time is scheduled for 10:00 am on the day of departure unless previously agreed with the host. If the guest is more than 90 minutes late checking out guest will be charged $100.

* Any costs incurred by the host as a result of a late check out will be passed on to you.
