Welcome to Manasota Key, the premier beach of the West Coast of Florida. The sleepy coastal community allows you to unwind on the beautiful white sands and swim in the Gulf of Mexico. Within walking distance to all the bars and restaurants as well as Stump Pass Beach State Park, this unit offers everything you need for your beachfront vacation.

CHECK-INS: All check-ins are a self check-in process. For security purposes, access instructions will be sent to you the day of your arrival through Vrbo messaging. Thank you.

EARLY CHECK-INS: Check-in time is 4PM EST (or afterwards). If you need the property prior to check-in time, please be made aware that early check-ins cannot be confirmed or guaranteed until the day of your arrival.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
Welcome to Manasota Key, from the north tip of the island to the south, this quant 11 mile island is picture perfect “old Florida”. This island is unique in which half is in Sarasota County and the other half is Charlotte County. It consists mainly of Englewood Beach in Charlotte County, Florida and is part of the Punta Gorda Metropolitan.

MANASOTA KEY BY MORNING
In the mornings head out your front door and down to the beach where you will find dolphins and other sea creatures making an early morning appearance. Or enjoy a quick bike or car ride to sightsee around the island and find yourself breath taken by the unique layout of the island.

MANASOTA KEY BY AFTERNOON
There are great restaurants on the Key with daily food and drink specials. For a quick drive off the island, enjoy a delicious lunch at Farlows on the Water. One of the best in the area!

The door to enter is very hard to unlock and relock from the outside. The blinds in the door are missing some slats so when they are closed there is no privacy. All blinds are hard to operate.

Property offered many advantages. Walking distance to several highly rated seafood restaurants. Private & direct access to the beach. The house is well stocked. ie. Extra beach towels, beach chairs, adequate parking, a/c unit kept up with extreme heat temperatures, & well kept clean house inside/out. You won't be disappointed.

I took my 3 boys to the beach and stayed at this property. It is right on the beach. You literally step outside onto the beach. There are no high rises around. The area is not commercialized. All the neighbors felt like family. The condo itself was perfect for us - the bed was comfy and my boys loved the futon. We are already looking forward too our next trip there. This is our new favorite vacation destination. 10/10

Love the location! It is right on the beach. Yes living room furniture is a bit dated and worn, but it is a beach place. I wouldn't want to put anything pricey with people coming in and out from the beach wet and sandy if it were me either. It is perfect in my opinion for a nice, quiet beach getaway. The kitchen has what you need. The bed is very comfortable. It is my 2nd time to stay here and won't be my last.

If you are looking for 5 star accommodation, this is not for you. But best value for your money, this is the place. Just steps to the beach. Which is why we come here. The furniture is dated but comfortable. The bed in #2 is lumpy and the towels need to be replaced. Will we return? YES. I am glad we found this place.

We love this location. Every morning we walk out the door and are on the beach ready for our adventure along the water, looking for sharks teeth, enjoying the chats with fishermen and especially the sound of the ocean. We are a short walk to the morning yoga on the beach and the county park with restrooms. This is a location with a great view and that's why we are repeat visitors.

The entire stay was perfect, walked the beach, went fishing in the bay, walked to great restaurants, don’t miss Lock N Key’s happy hour. The food was great in a very casual atmosphere. Nice kitchen setup, we cooked the fish we caught. Hope to be back next wonter

the furniture was so old it had to be covered with towels. The mattress, you sunk in the middle.The bathroom sink handle was broke.There is a lot of maintaining to be addressed. Great location, but won't stay there again unless they do updates and maintaince. We payed premium price. lesson learned.

The location of this unit is perfect. Easy to get to. It was so nice to just walk out my patio door and immediately be on the beach. The unit was well equipped and clean. Unfortunately, the 2 living room chairs were very worn out. I placed a blanket over one before I sat in it. Other than that, it was a perfect place to stay. Bed was comfy. Loved the walk-in shower. Just a note – if there are guests staying in the upstairs unit, you can hear them walking around. It didn’t bother me.

This place is the absolute closest I have ever slept to the beach. Usually its a bit of a trudge through the sand, but not so here. Walk out your door, blink a few times and the water is at your feet. There was a tommy bahama chair in my closet, a picnic bench right outside my door to each lunch and dinner while watching the waves and sky. I also loved how little anticipated needs were met - There were scissors, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, qtips, floss and plenty of kitchen supplies like utensils, plates, glasses and mugs. Even tea was provided. The kitchen table was super cozy to sit indoors (water views!) The check-in process is 5 star easy-peasy. My initial excitement of seeing the location and easily popping out the key was quickly dashed upon opening the door. I was hit with a blast of mustiness that I knew involved water and moisture. A quick glance around and I located black mold growth next to the ceiling beam in the livingroom. Upon further scrutinizing I found small black patches of mold growth across the white ceiling. I felt incredibly uncomfortable and spent most of my stay with the air off and the door and windows wide open. I was also disappointed at how lumpy the bed was. Red stains on the bedskirt. In addition, there is little sound buffer and the second floor guests woke me up multiple times from footsteps going to and from their bathroom (2, 3 and 4 am). I heard every word they spoke It was an easy last minute booking but uncertain if I would return

All you need is a swimsuit and a good book! The place was clean and comfortable! It was well furnished with anything we could have needed. Just about thirty steps out to the beach! Nice restaurant options within walking distance if you don’t want to cook! It was lovely and relaxing.

The place is right on the beach however, it needs a serious update! The chairs are all peeling, and looks like mold on the white one The ceiling was leaking some type of water. I’m not sure where it was coming from. The owner did, however at promptly and tried to send the AC guy to look at it. However, he cannot figure out where it was coming from. Either stated it might’ve been the condensation because it’s so hot outside. Nevertheless, the ceiling around the beam had what appeared to be mold and dripping water. It is right on the beach which was nice. However, I would not stay there again.

Listen! This place is all about its location which is literally steps from the beach. You don’t even need to have flip-flops. Just walk out straight on to the beach without anything else between you and your room. Rest is secondary 😁

We’ve stayed in a few different vrbos in manasota and this is by far the best location you will find. Your front door is steps from the sand and you can see the water as you walk out the door. Check in was super easy. We only stayed one night and due to car issues didn’t get there til 1 am. The next morning when someone came to clean she was so extremely nice and told us not to rush and I had time to take a shower. After a very hectic few days and trying to get everything together to check out that morning, it was so nice to be able to slow down and enjoy the rest of our weekend trip. So thank you for your kindness! The only thing I wasn’t a huge fan of was the blue and red lights on the outside. Looked like cop lights in the window lol but it is a very nice place for a couple. I’ll definitely be back!:)

The property was wonderful. Decor was a little outdated, but you don't go to the beach for the decor, so it was perfect. Everything in the house worked and was very clean. Comfortable bed as well. I would stay here again, and would recommend the stay to others.

We rented this place after a last minute cancellation from another condo. We were very pleased. It was a perfect location. The only issue was at the beginning when the cleaning crew did not finish cleaning until after our promised arrival time. We were able to wait on the beach. Once they finally finished it was a good week!
