Welcome to your well-appointed mountain retreat overlooking pristine Lake Glenville! Let the world drift away as you relax in the outdoor living room - a covered porch offering an expansive view of the lake and the Blue Ridge Mountains, complete with a wood-burning fireplace, perfect for chilly evenings. With twig railings, a vaulted ceiling, stonework and shake siding, this scene is perfectly authentic. Just beyond, a grassy, landscaped lawn abuts a low, stacked stone wall below seasonal blooms. Inside, another stacked stone gas fireplace calls for friends and family to gather in the living room, share stories and make memories. The vaulted ceiling extends into the dining area, which includes a wet bar and double glass doors to the porch against a rough hewn textured wall created to bring the outside, in. Ample cabinetry is found in the galley kitchen. You'll find wooden and tiled floors throughout the main level, which includes the owner's suite and bathroom, two guest bedrooms, with another full bath. Hideaway downstairs which offers a den with bunks, another bonus sleeping room, a full bath, laundry room, and a space for snacks and beverages.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Excellent views, spotless home with all the amenities needed. Loved sitting on the large back porch playing cards. We were unable to get the outside tv to work but it wasn’t missed. Overall the house is larger than we expected. We will return and vacation again in this beautiful home and area.

The home is beautiful and accurately portrayed in the profile. We had 6 adults and an infant and the accommodations were very spacious and comfortable. The furnishings were very attractive and the kitchen was well equipped for meals in. The outdoor space (covered deck) was awesome. Wood burning fireplace and gas grill with stunning views of Lake Glenville. Short 12 min drive to Cashiers. 4-wheel would be a must to scale the driveway (and get to the area period!) in winter weather. Overall, a wonderful home!

The views were excellent. Everything was very nice and accommodating. The liquid soap in bathroom was too watery. Some lights under the cabinet were not working. We used the fireplace on the deck which was very nice. Would see a groundhog most mornings that ran across the road. Neighbors were nice and friendly. Thank you. Donna

Very comfortable home. Comfortable beds. Plenty of nice towels. Plenty of firewood to enjoy fireplace on patio. Great view of mountains and lake. Very relaxing stay. Would have liked more TVs, in each bedroom. Trouble with cable, code screen kept popping up, often. We did not have a code??? Very Dim lights in kitchen. I could barely see. House was very clean. Furniture was clean and comfortable. Location was easy to get to. Very nice neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay.

We spent most of our time in the outdoor living space, enjoying the views, watching sports, while warming up by the wood burning fireplace. The waterfall was a nice touch. The house was beautifully appointed and had all the amenities of home! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to vacation here again!

Porch is perfect place to relax listening to the water feature, warmed by the fire and a beautiful view. Great location. Eddy is very helpful. Housekeeping is superb. Single step entry perfect for my mom and my two senior dogs. Traveling with seniors? Note the dining table is bar height or higher. I’m 5’7” and I was challenged to get into the dining chairs. Too tall for my mom. That’s the only thing we’d change. Otherwise, it’s perfect! We’ll come back for sure.

We had an issue upon arrival, which the property manager took prompt care of. It was nothing that could have been prevented from the owner or manager. Aside from that, the property was very well maintained, nicely stocked kitchen, great bedding, etc. It checked all of the boxes for our family trip! The pictures of the view don't do it justice! We would definitely recommend this place for your mountain getaway!

We stayed at this beautiful cabin just 5 minutes from Sawyer Family Christmas Tree Farm where my sister got married. It was such a beautiful location and home! The beds were so cozy, great fireplace...we loved everything. We couldn't wait to get back each day to play games and just be together.

The property has so much to offer, for a great many situations. Romantic getaway, it works... family getaway? The downstairs media room and ping pong table come into play. It is a wonderful and versatile unit. My only ask would be for a better equipped kitchen.
