Enjoy grilling out, a fun game of Tiki Ring Toss, or taking a swim in the heated pool. Our stay was very nice. However, I would mention in the post about no actual door in one of the master bedroom. In addition, the same room has not good air conditioning. Other than that everything is convenience, a lot of beach stuff, enough kitchen utensils. Enough space for 5 adults and 4 kids!

We had a wonderful stay at this Marco Island home! It was perfect size and accommodations for mine and my sister's families, including 7 adults/young adults and one kiddo age 10. The pool was a hit and allowed us to burn energy and relax in a private setting when we weren't out exploring the island. It rained a lot prior to our arrival and the pool was in poor shape. Paul was quickly responsive, came to check out the situation himself, and then sent someone out to service the pool the same night. The beds were comfortable and clean. My only suggestions are for the AC and some deep cleaning needs. The AC in the 2nd master suite is nearly non-existent, and with the smaller bedrooms the cool air doesn't reach them with the doors closed at night. We bought a small fan for the bedroom with the bunkbeds to help the kids sleep. Ceiling fans in the 2nd master and bedroom with the full size make the situation tolerable. (One in our party is an HVAC specialist and believes the house needs a 2nd AC unit or a larger unit overall for its' size.) The house is exceptionally clean except for dust on the ceilings & base boards in several of the rooms. There are some nice updates throughout the home and we loved the modern retro artwork and furnishings. The neighborhood boasts a fair amount of native wildlife, foliage, and ample sidewalks for exploring the nearby Mackle park or just observing the curious/ protected burrowing owls. This was a near-perfect vacation. Thank you for having us!

The house was perfectly fine for our 5 days of relaxing. The pool was heated, which ended up not being very refreshing for us northern people in the 95 degree heat. But I asked the host if we could turn it down and someone came out right away.

Before coming on our trip, we read the reviews of this property. Some had noted there were no beach towels. We did not find this to be the case. There was an ample supply of linens including beach towels. Plenty of necessities to utilize at the beach. A new hair dryer was available in the master suite off the kitchen. We were traveling with my husband’s siblings and their spouses. The house provided adequate space and privacy for each family. We enjoyed our evenings around the pool. Neighborhood is lovely. I wouldn’t mind returning here again in the future. Thank you for having us!

Visit Marco Island for a wedding. House was perfect for a family with kids. Used the pool all day and enough living space for all. Worth nothing the one bedroom off the kitchen doesn’t have a door but we made it work. Would stay here again!

The house is somewhat spartan but clean and neat. Liked the convenience of the keypad entry. Nice kitchen and large dining table. Our major issue is that the listing did not mention one important fact - that one of the MBRs does not have a door! I believe that this should be disclosed (or remedied!) The room is off the kitchen and in back of the garage, and appears to be a converted space. It is also not on the house a/c. but does have a separate small unit. If you don't need four bedrooms the house is fine, but bear in mind that one of the full baths is off the doorless MBR on the other side of the house from the other three BRs.

This was a great spot to gather extended family. With an open kitchen and plenty of seating it was a great spot to reminisce between events. There were also plenty of bathrooms for four couples to get ready for formal events! There was lots of storage in the kitchen and quality plates and silverware to use. Even a brand new corkscrew! The saltwater pool was the perfect temperature for a plunge and it was nice to sit with coffee in the morning. Opportunities for improvement: we couldn’t find any pool/beach towels. The shower towels were small and very thin, and there should have been at least 4 per bathroom, especially for the hall bathroom that would be shared by many. Also, the lighting in the main area is dim. A brighter bulb over the table and a floor lamp in the living room would be a great improvement. Also, an additional small coffee table would be helpful. All in all, we had a great time and would rent again!

Everything was very good during our stay except for a few small problems that we fixed ourselves at first because we couldn't wait for someone to come and fix them. I guess the owners had no way of knowing that the bed in one bedroom had loose bolts on the baseboards. Because they fell apart on the 1st night when our friends got ready for bed. The other problem was that the sink in the same bedroom was clogged with sand from previous tenants who had washed swimwear I guess. There was another problem that we addressed to Horizon Rentals regarding the washing machine which was working but the Quick wash Program was taking several hours instead of 38 minutes. They were very responsive and sent a technician who fixed the problem. Our overall rating is 4/5 because of these minor issues but I would use this property for our future vacations.

The house is well located and very comfortable for our family of 7. The beds were comfortable, the pool was very relaxing, and we found everything we needed in the kitchen with plenty of pots, pans and utensils. The only down side was that the bathrooms needed more thorough cleaning and that we wished for all bedrooms to have TVs.

The VRBO listing makes it look like this house is on a canal, but it is just in a neighborhood and NOT on the water. This was a good house overall, with plenty of room for our big family. The house could use some upgrades, like adding lights in the showers and renovating the bathrooms. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay, and the pool was great!

This house was the perfect escape from the cold weather in Ohio. We traveled with 5 children under the age of 5, so we really appreciated the ranch floor plan and the extra space around the pool area for the babies to play toys. The only complaint is that the second master bedroom does not have a door, only a sliding shade type of thing, which made it challenging for my son to nap even with a sound machine.

Had a great time with extended family. The property was great. Had to get some basics on check in (like hand soap for the bathroom, was not a lot of things like garbage bags, consumables like TP was not a lot for 8 people for a week, grill had been left on by previous guest and out of gas), but overall great experience and really enjoyed the stay. Given it was just a few weeks after a hurricane, we had no complaints and would come back again!

Lovely home with a beautiful pool. So comfortable and cozy. We had the perfect girls weekend. We enjoyed using the umbrella and 4 chairs. The pool was relaxing and so clean. Bring your own beach towels. Make sure to bring your own garbage bags ;)

I’ll preface by saying we rarely make bad reviews on any stay/visit, but i feel future guests should know the experience we had during our week here. The house is old and poorly maintained and we had issues throughout the week. Inside: The Dryer was broken (sent someone to fix on the 5th day of our stay, but still didn’t work) One of the door handles on the sliding doors out to the pool broke off (handyman came and fixed). The pots/pans were disgusting (they replaced with new ones). Overall cleanliness - poor, e.g hair in all the bathroom drains, old coffee left in the coffee maker, rugs are gross. Not enough towels. Outside: The pool deck area was disgusting. Visible black and green mold on the tile, the cushions were disgusting. We didn’t sit on the outdoor furniture all week. The grill was broken (they had a new one delivered on day 3). The trash from the previous guests wasn’t put out and it STUNK, but also, the cans were full so we couldn’t put our own trash out that week. There’s a weird brick area in the corner of the pool deck that hasn’t been maintained in years; the bricks are loose, and one fell off on one of our guests foot. I honestly don’t know how previous visitors have given the house the scores they did. The 2 stars are for the beds, they were comfortable, new carpet is nice. Location is excellent, near everything. We’ve been coming to Marco for years renting houses, and this by far is most disappointing place we’ve stayed. We don’t expect things to be perfect but this place needs a complete overhaul. Management company addressed some of the issues, and were quick to respond to complaints. We left a day early.

Great Besides not being able to swim for 3 days but everything else was awesome love Marco island but renting a house with a pool and kids wanting to swim but couldn’t sucked…. All and all I would give them another chance beautiful house and plenty of room still made the best of our time down there
