Set next to a freshwater pond (that's also a great spot for fishing!), this charming home has plenty of room for families and groups to enjoy themselves. You'll stay across the way from a conservation trust, so you'll have plenty of privacy and a lovely view from the screened-in porch. Light up the firepit after a day at the beach - Cold Storage Beach is within a very walkable half mile. Rinse off your beach toys (and dog!) with ease in the outdoor shower. The dining room, featuring a lovely teak dining table, is equipped with all the appliances and cooking tools guests need to put together tasty meals. Of course, there's always the option to set the fish on the grill while watching the stars come out. This home is within walking distance to walking trails and the town center, where you'll find a small grocery store, a coffee shop, and a seafood restaurant. There are also beaches within just a few miles of the home.

Not happy with renting through VRBO or Vacasa- so confused- kept getting alerts from both. 2 problems- Didn’t know the pricing fluctuated (never rented through them before) so it was beyond insulting to get offers from them to rent at a later day and see that the average price was less than 1/2 of what I ended up paying (off season). The other problem for me was that I could never directly speak to the owners via text or email to ask specific questions and these apps use chat bots to answer general questions but not mine. All in all the place was great but I will not be renting through either app in the future.

Quaint Truro shingle home located on freshwater pond within easy walking distance to a park and playground, a town beach, a local store with high-end basics, lunch, and breakfast, and dining at Captain’s Choice restaurant. While house is adjacent to pond it is best accessed via the park next door. Close to everything at the end of the Cape but in a very quiet and peaceful setting. It can be buggy but that’s to be expected. There’s a wonderful screened porch with a large table and ample seating. Outdoor shower is a very nice touch. Note that WiFi is DSL and AT&T cell signal is weak, but you can do all the basics. Just don’t plan on high-speed broadband. Central air and heat downstairs. Upstairs has an a/c window unit that does a fine job keeping it cool at night, but it’s hot upstairs during the day. This is a nicely adapted older shingle sided home so it has everything you need with typical older New England house quirks. Great find!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming summer cottage in Truro, Massachusetts, and it truly exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, well-equipped, and a joy to cook in. Whether you're a culinary enthusiast or simply looking to whip up a quick meal, the kitchen's modern amenities and open layout made it a breeze. The bedrooms were cozy and comfortable, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of Cape Cod adventures. The proximity to the pond was a highlight. We spent many hours simply relaxing by the water. The sunsets over the pond were truly magical. The cottage's location in Truro allowed for easy access to the Cape's beautiful beaches, hiking trails, and local attractions. Whether you're a beach bum or a nature lover, there's something for everyone in the area. Additionally, the hosts were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. In summary, this Cape Cod summer cottage is a gem in Truro, offering a perfect blend of modern comfort and natural beauty. We can't wait to return and create more cherished memories in this delightful retreat. Highly recommended!

We were delighted staying in this lovely property! The kitchen has high end appliances and all the pots, pans, dishes, etc to easily and enjoyably cook at home. There is a large Weber gas grill and a spacious screened in porch with a large dining table. Plenty of space to play corn hole or just chill by the fire pit. Or take the kayak for a paddle on the pond. The location is perfect! A short walk to the bay beach or a short walk to Salty Market for excellent provisions, or to Chequesset Choc for a morning coffee and treats. Or Captain’s Catch for dinner. A short drive to Provincetown or Wellfleet. This home is so well appointed—they have supplied everything one needs for a carefree vacation in N. Truro.

Great neighborhood and perfect lower cape location. We enjoyed the yard and the beauty of the pond. Our dog Bentley was very happy there. Warning to pet owners...ticks on the cape are in full force. If bringing your dog I highly suggest tick treatment. It was a wonderful trip and nice accommodations.

Cold Storage Cottage was just wonderful. We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Super clean and in an excellent location for views, tranquillity, beaches, market and restaurants. We are already looking forward to our next visit! You will not be disappointed!

The house is in a beautiful location with a spectacular backyard and screened in porch. However, the bathroom was tiny and located in the kitchen with no exhaust fan. The internet wifi was unusable. Cell signal was minimal. The master bedroom should have a queen sized bed and some kind of dresser drawers.

Beautiful views and right near the beach. It’s very small but perfect for what we needed. For the first two nights it was the perfect size for just my husband and I. The last night we had 5 family members who joined. If our visit was longer I think we would need a bigger place ( at least another bathroom). Our bed was wonderful but the upstairs double desperately needs to be updated. We absolutely loved the location! And it was very clean. We would love to stay there again!

This is a great location with fabulous pond view from back deck. We watched otters swimming and kingfishers diving. Close to all to cold storage beach and 1.5 mile to coast guard beach. Only complaints are Wi-Fi is not high speed. It is 2.7 Mb down and 0.5 up so not a good place for working vacation. We had trouble just googling restaurants. Please update listing to be accurate as this is not a place for remote work. We called and vacasa confirmed it was working but did not adjust to high speed so no change. Other issue is that upstairs beds have very low ceilings so risk if head bumps. But location is great and backyard view is very relaxing. Good place for vacation.

Very relaxing back yard that is well maintained with breath taking pond, greenery and wild life. Walking distance to cold storage beach and Farmers Market. The outdoor shower is a Must!!

Nice location if you do not need wifi. If you do do not belive the listing because it does not work and you will spend 2 days on the phone trying to get it fixed and it will not work. I had to walk to a local coffee shop to use there wifi for work and to talk to my family.
