This westerly facing waterfront home is where you will enjoy remarkable sunsets on the beautiful Norris Lake. Dock your boat or jet skis at the property's dedicated slip just a few steps out the back door and down a gentle slope along a paved pathway. Or rent a boat from one of the local marinas for your entire stay. Either way, you will spend your vacation water skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, fishing or swimming on the cleanest lake in the Southeast (800 miles of shoreline, 35,000 acres, spanning 5 Tennessee Counties).
This is truly a destination spot for all seasons:
-Pick your favorite water sport in the summer;
-Enjoy the vibrant colors of autumn;
-Home base to exploring the best of East Tennessee (Gatlinburg, Knoxville, 4 Wheeling the Cumberland Mountains, fishing hunting, or other endless opportunities) in the winter;
-Witness the coming of age that spring delivers from the blooming flowers to spotted deer fawns; and
-Year-round fun from golfing to reeling in some of the best stripers, large and small mouth bass and walleye year round
How To Get Here: Travel east from I75 through Jacksboro TN and once through the economic district in LaFollette TN (an estimated 8.5 miles from the interstate), turn right on South Cumberland Ave. Turn left if you are coming from the east, from Speedwell TN on General Carl W Stiner Highway, State route 63. Enjoy the sights of contemporary Appalachia on the 9-mile drive, twisting and turning down a two-lane paved road. Take your time on this back road as the house and lake will be ready when you arrive. There is also the option to fly into the resort's 3200 x 50 ft paved airport (Coordinates: N36 20.87 ... W 0-84 00.73), Identifier TN44.
Amenities: Tucked away in the Cumberland Mountains, this gated resort community has much to offer, both on the lake and off. You will have access to all the resort amenities: Golf, tennis, volleyball, basketball court, pool, marina (check their website for fees and availability) and our on-resort Tiki Hut restaurant. And just outside the resort is a convenience store, cafe and winery.
Golf: The Greens at Deerfield is a Par 71, 6,700-yard championship public golf course. Hole 16 is one of the course's signature holes. This par 4 hole drops over 300 feet from tee to the cup. No matter where you are on the course, there is always a breathtaking view of the Cumberland Mountains or of Norris Lake. Check out their website for green fees.
Bedrooms: This nearly 3,000 square foot, spacious home offers 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Two of the four are ensuite bedrooms. Regardless If you are one large family or 2 to 3 couples, the house has a comfortable sleeping space for 11 people.
-Ensuite #1 is on the top floor and has a queen bed with a full bath. French doors overlook the grand room below and boast spectacular views of the lake.
-Ensuite #2 is on the bottom most floor with a king and full bed, full bath (shower only) and a walkout sliding doors with Adirondack chairs to enjoy the morning fog that settles across the cove occurring most mornings here in the Smokies.
-Bedrooms #3 and #4 are between the grand room floor and above the Ensuite #2, adjacent to the second living room.
Each of these rooms have their own access to the deck with a swing and additional seating. One room has 2 twin beds and the second has a twin over queen bunk bed. There is one full bathroom (shower only) for this floor. Each of the bedrooms have closet and dressers to store the clothes you'll need, even for the longest stays. One set of fresh linens are put on each bed, for each booking.
Kitchen: The kitchen has all the required appliances: four-burner electric stove, oven, microwave, full standing refrigerator, and dishwasher. There is a coffee pot, electric tea kettle, toaster, pans, pots, pizza pan, utensils, and dishes, cups, and silverware.
Laundry: While you are not required to launder any of the linens, you are welcome to use the laundry room as needed (bring your own detergent). If you wish to go wrinkle free, an iron and ironing board are provided.
Bathrooms: Each bathroom has a shower and two bathrooms have tubs for the little ones. Each bathroom has a hair dryer and hand soap. NO TOWELS (Bath, Hand, Wash, or Beach) are provided.
Internet: With the remoteness of this community, the options for internet service providers are limited with a max of 25Mb/s download speeds. While there has been merely no issues streaming YouTube TV on multiple devices, the speeds will most likely not support both simultaneous streaming, device access and/or heavy online gaming.
TV/Electronics: Each TV in the house (including the Common Areas and Ensuite #1 and 2) is equipped with a locked/restricted Amazon FireStick. There is plenty of old fashion fun with board games, cards, puzzles, and dominos. If that doesn't interest you, did we mention there is a lake just outside the sliding doors?
Garbage: Trash is scheduled for pick up on Mondays. However, through the summer it is collected periodically during the week. All trash MUST be contained inside of tied liners / garbage bags and placed IN the provided trash cans located on the drive next to the street. To keep the critters out of the trash ensure the lid on the container is secured and completely closed (use the provided brick). We are charged additional fees by the waste management company if the bags are not tied or debris is scattered around the point of collection. We will impose a $125 trash fee if loose garbage is found in the outside trash bins.
Plan Wisely: The closest food store (Food City, Walmart, Food Lion, Chadwells Market & Deli) is a solid 30 min drive on the aforementioned 9-mile winding road. At the entrance to the community is Deerside Market with just the basic items (bread, milk, etc), therefore we encourage you to buy everything you need before you arrive. We discard every kitchen and bathroom consumable product between each guest. Therefore, ensure you have condiments, coffee and filters, paper plates, plastic ware, sugar and spices, etc.
Please check our guest book upon arrival for additional information about the area. We look forward to sharing our space with you and want to make your experience extremely enjoyable.
We reserve the right to update our house rules at any point.

Amazing house and lake area

It was excellent!! Everything was perfect!!

The property was lovely and had everything that we needed. We have stayed at multiple other properties and this cove was probably the best location and also the cleanest water.
Communication with the owner was seamless and he allowed us early check-in when we arrived sooner than expected.

Property is in a great location on the lake near several marinas and the jumping bridge. Shared dock was nice and not that steep of a walk compared to some Norris Lake properties. We would definitely stay here again. My only recommendation is to get Starlink and let guests use it.

We had a great time! We loved the location to nearby marinas and hanging out in the cove. Would stay here again!

We loved the house and the lake. The only thing that I didn't like is that the host didn't provide any towels.

Enjoyed another wonderful visit! House was all it said and more. Great location on the lake!!

Property as advertised. Great location overlooking the water to the west . Took adult children and granddaughter and everyone loved the place. We enjoyed some awesome sunsets and plenty of time on the water. Would definitely stay again if we return to Lake Norris. Bill was a super host!

Great location and we loved that the boat dock is located in a 'no wake' zone. We are water skiers, so we had to drive towards Flat Hollow to find smooth water and less boats, but it was a short boat drive. We ate a lot of meals in after being on the water all day and the kitchen is small and the outdoor seating is not super comfortable, but overall we loved the setting and location and would definitely stay again!

Perfect location and the host was very accessible and easy to communicate with. Would stay here again for sure.

Host was very responsive to our questions about the house prior to our arrival and was very accommodating. Property was the perfect size for our group. We loved hanging out on the deck watching the sunset and reconnecting with one another! Great house. We'd stayed in that cove before and loved it. Thanks for a great weekend!

We thoroughly enjoyed the property and our stay. Very well kept place and space for everyone. Beautiful view. Excellent communication from owner. My only caution is to make sure you aren’t traveling w anyone who has difficulty walking or with stairs, as the four floors and hill back and forth to the lake would be difficult. But, we were all impressed definitely stay there again!

The house is beautiful and very well maintained. The area is full of wildlife, and relaxing. A great place for a family that wants to get away, and just hang out. The kids had a blast fishing and boating. It was the perfect vacation to disconnect from the world and reconnect with family.

We had everything we needed. I highly recommend sitting out on the balconies in the early morning & early evening, even later at night, it is just so peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

A Perfect Lake Vacation
This was our first trip to Norris Lake and the experience couldn't have been better. The house was perfect for use, with multiple bedrooms on 3 1/2 floors, a spacious and inviting living/dining/kitchen space and a tremendous deck with a great view of the lake. We had access to slip #12 to dock our pontoon rental, but also a great area to float in the lake in a peaceful, quiet cove. The house was well equipped, meeting all our entertainment needs. Our entire family enjoyed the stay. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great stay.

Highly recommend.

Had a great time with our family of four. House was very clean and well styled. Internet was superb (25mbps), so working from here is a breeze while the kids played online. Good separation between four floors makes it great for multiple families or multiple couples. Also a great view and proximity to the water and your own designated slip.
Great to see lots of wildlife around the area too (deer/squirrels/birds/etc). There is also a cool winery and store at the entry to the community. The winery in particular was fun. Good atmosphere and live music along with tastings.
Will add this to the list of places to visit again!
