This lodge is beautiful with lots and lots of room. Well furnished throughout and kitchen is well stocked. We took advantage of both porches-very peaceful. Excellent communication with host. Definitely a place we would stay if in the area again.

We were very happy with the property! It was nice and spacious and as described. It was nicely stocked with many extras which was appreciated. It definitely is in a remote quiet area with a 30 min drive to Thermopolis. There was a pond attached to the property that we use our blow up pontoon to paddle around in. There was also a great tire swing which was a big hit with the kids. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

The best experience!! The owner stayed in great communication which made it a great experience!! A beautiful place!! SO clean, SO cozy, and well furnished!! A roomy kitchen which is fully stocked with dish ware and appliances! The pool table was also a big hit for our family!! A great place for a weekend getaway!! I’d recommend using google maps for the address instead of Apple Maps because Apple Maps didn’t bring us to the final destination so we had to blindly guess for a little while and go off of the directions the owner sent. Would definitely recommend to everybody :))

Having lived in Montana guiding trout fishing and experiancing some of the best in the west, this is truely a western way of life cultural experiance. This house is built for large families or events. The views in the early morning and evenings are stunning, wild life a pond a very diverse log home with rooms fit fir all from a huge master to a cozy and cool basement and the kitchen is made for entertaining. A real rare find in a semi primative location. Ill be spending a full week here for years to come.
Thank you Jeff Brazda

Great place, very comfortable, handled eight guests with ease. Views are spectacular, deer and antelope in the fields every day. If you don't mind being 30 minutes outside of town this is perfect.

The lodge was located far enough away from the nearest town, which was Thermopolis, WY, to make arriving there feel like it was an oasis in the high-dessert, sagebrush hills. It had a perfectly sized and maintained lawn which we used for kickball/whiffle ball games with the kids and for corn hole games with the adults. The tire swing was a huge hit with the grandkids. The kitchen was large accommodated lots of food and buffet-style meals. The oven was a little quirky and heats unevenly, but we figured it out. We would have really liked an outdoor gas grill for cooking.
We were admittedly a little hesitant about the remoteness of the lodge, but it turned out great! We had a great time with no noisy neighbors. The bird watching by the pond and campfires by the fire pit were fun. The lodge was very nice and comfortable. Everyone had a bed and the mattresses were actually comfortable. The dining areas were spacious. Recommend bringing pots and pans for any special food you want to prepare. There is no griddle or large frying pan provided for the stove so plan accordingly. Other than that, the kitchen is fully stocked. Lots of towels for everyone and the water pressure was fabulous. We did park inside the gated property due to the abundant free range cows. Our experience tells us cars make great scratching posts with broken side mirrors and dents received in the past. Lastly, the front porch is great for sunrises and watching T-Storms. Great place! Would recommend it highly.

We had a wonderful time. The house is very spacious and great for a family gathering.
Follow the instructions given and
DO NOT ENTER THE ADDRESS IN YOUR GPS! We got there after dark and made this mistake adding several miles to our drive.
I would definitely stay here again!

Amazing!
We just couldn’t ask for a more beautiful and well appointed place to stay. Our family of 6 stayed here after traveling from Michigan. We found the rural ranch setting an amazing change of pace. The house was very clean and well kept. The one challenge is the distance from things (but also a positive - away from things). This property is surrounded by wildlife. It is most definitely on a ranch and away from everything. Anne was a great host - exceptional communication and made sure we were all taken care of.

The best experience!
I’ve hosted over 13 retreats and this was the best location and VRBO hostess. Anne had great communication before our retreat. Everything perfect for our arrival, she had great communication the day we checked out and follow up after. Anne was very accommodating to our needs. She is a super hostess!
The property was pristine and oh my so beautiful. It’s so far out in the country it is only God, you and cows!
The kitchen is a cooks dream! The 2 loving areas are separated enough that noise doesn’t bother. The beds were all comfortable.
I can’t say enough about how great our experience was. Now the mothers of the teens are begging me to do a retreat for them ❤️
