We stay in these condos every year so obviously we already love Sandbridge and what the condo complex has to offer. This was our first time staying in a 1st floor poolside unit. It was fantastic for access to the pool and the grills for cooking meals. Can walk in and out if you forget something. Really easy to take my youngest for a swim any time she wanted. The condo has all the basics you need.

Great place for the 4 of us. Had all the amenities we needed.

This unit is very comfy! We slept well every night.

Went down there for a five day stay. As a family of four, we had Plenty of room and amenities for anything you could think of. We would 100% rent this again.

Enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. There's a lot of construction going on around the property but that's understandable due to off season.

This is a very large two bedroom condo. Great place to gather with friends and family

Me and my husband decided to get away for a long weekend…. This was the perfect place, not only was it so clean and comfortable , it is on the beach, walking distance to the Baja, the Pier and a bike ride to the back bay! We had a great weekend!

Very well maintained, very family friendly...

We were at a field hockey tournament in VA Beech and needed a place to stay for a long weekend. My family has vacationed in Sandbridge for almost 50 years, so staying here felt like an obvious choice. We wanted space to relax that a hotel room can’t provide. This was a great place at a great price. It was clean and fresh when we arrived. We had trouble with the toilet in the main bathroom not flushing. We called for maintenance but when they hadn’t come by mid morning our second day, my husband figured out how to get it working. Maintenance arrived shortly thereafter and we told them it was fixed, however, the problem came back 2 more times. We told the property management company when we dropped off the keys. Hopefully they correct it prior to the next guests. Overall, I would recommend this place but keep in mind we stayed in February, so we can’t comment until n whether having the pool right outside our door would be a bonus or a problem with noise.

Steps from the beach, the spaciousness of the condo, bright light filled comfy bed and pillows. Clean.

Location, beach access, bar access, CLEAN.

The condo was exactly like the photos. I can't think of anything that we needed that we didn't find there. Plenty of blankets, towels, and dishes. There were even a few games and books to read. Vacasa was super easy to deal with and we highly recommend them as a place to go to for vacation rentals.

To arrive at the condo complex after-hours only to discover that no one is on site to check us in and we were actually supposed to check in at the realty office several miles back in the direction we came from was beyond frustrating. The arrival address sent in the welcome email was in large font and was the first address listed so naturally we thought that's where we would go to check in. Instead, in MUCH smaller font later in the email, it states an alternate address of where to go to get the keys. So, we backtracked to the realty office and came back again. It was then that we discovered that there are ZERO luggage carts to assist in getting our things from a parking garage to our actual unit. The map provided of the parking garage didn't show you exactly where your condo was relative to your assigned parking space so it was initially impossible to orient yourself and attempt to find the shortest way to your unit. We did find the main lobby which appeared to be a place where you'd check in but I never once saw an employee staffing that desk that entire week and most notably when we checked in and were seeking assistance finding a luggage cart. (Bring your own wagon - they do NOT have carts anywhere)
Now for the condo itself. It was spacious for a 2-bedroom and seemed like it was on the newer site. Things felt updated and clean. However, the king mattress was SO awful that my husband and I ended up sleeping separately in the kid room with a twin bed and full bed rather than suffer on the mattress with zero support. Just felt old and cheap. The condo didn't have a guest book with information on local restaurants, shops, etc so we were somewhat flying blind. (There may have been a book but I could not find it anywhere and I looked fairly hard for it). Worth noting, some family was also staying in the complex and their unit provided a book and a welcome basket full of useful items. This unit did not. The wifi was decent in the condo but the phone service was non-existent. We had several other family members staying in other condos in the same complex and they got practically zero phone service when inside as well - the issue wasn't just limited to our condo.
Aside from the condo, the hallways, stairwells, corridors and elevators were disgusting. They were old, dirty, and in many cases smelled of urine. There were areas with visible rust. The elevators were small, slow, and seemed to me that if a lot of people were checking in at once, it would be HOURS before people could get their belongings up and down to their units without it taking forever. Even on a regular non-check-in day, they felt crowded. After seeing this, we decided to leave late at the night on the night prior to checkout to avoid what would inevitably be a stressful departure.
We stayed in a condo on the ground level, opening out to one of the pools which was convenient. But it was so enclosed that you had no idea where the ocean was or where the bay was. It felt very claustrophobic. They could have easily created some openings where you could at least orient yourself to the ocean since they're charging oceanfront prices. Signage to point you to the beach or lobby or pool were non-existent. The only "This Way" signage I saw was to the trash rooms on each floor. Perhaps the experience would be different on a higher floor but even then it didn't seem to have areas to look out of the complex because of the way it was designed. It would also be extremely helpful to be able to lock the back sliding door that opens onto the pool. Because it didn't lock from the outside, we were forced to leave from the front door every time which seemed like a waste of time especially when carrying so many things to get down to the beach.
The pools were quite small and always VERY crowded especially with families with young kids. The beach is also VERY crowded if you want to sit anywhere near the ocean. We tried to set up ...

Promised the pools would be open and they were not. Thought there would be grills to use and they were not in use until the last day. House was nice but the amenities were not able to be used as advertised when we booked. We felt like we wasted a lot of money.

Condo was comfortable, clean and generally well maintained. Pools were accessible and clean. Condo complex was on oceanfront location, which was great. Main elevator didn't always work. Dryer had to be fixed, but management was gracious about it.

Everything was absolutely amazing. Place was clean and big. Grounds and pool were beautiful. Only complaint was the refrigerator was warm upon arrival. Took over a day to cool down causing us to throw away over $100 worth of food we brought down. Other than that inconvenience, everything was great.
4.4
I loved that the condo was right by the pool for my kids to enjoy. Also so close to the beach.
4.4
This is much nicer than just getting a hotel. Its truly a home away from home feel. Having a full kitchen, washer and dryer are very nice when staying more than a few days. It took a minute to figure out check in procedures since it's not done on site as you'd expect. Also took a minute to figure out where everything was in the building. The maps provided don't explain where elevators or stairs are at or where you access the beach. But even with those few opportunities, it was a pleasant getaway!

We loved the close proximity to the pool. Getting around the building takes some getting used to.
