Great location near the main ski lifts and for free buses. Short 10 minute walk to the grocery Store. Free Parking space right outside Apartment is dated but functional. Not accessible for wheelchairs - no elevator in the building.
8.0 / 10.0
I so want to give this rental a 5 for the comfort, convenience and decor! The location was convenience for walking in ski boots to pay day lift and base and a short walk through parking lot apres ski. The beds were super comfortable. There were some kitchen repairs needed. There was nothing noted here that prevented us from having a great time.
10.0 / 10.0
Our stay was short, just two nights, and we were happy with the comfort of the unit and short walk to the lifts. The condo was clean and well-equipped although we did have to hunt a bit before locating a few essentials (i.e., extra pillows and linens for the pull-out were stored inside the coffee table and the parking passes were in a kitchen drawer with the potholders). Given the proximity to the base, the condo was a good value, however, we did opt to keep our skis at the rental shop, which made the walk easier than it would have been carrying our gear.

This was our first time staying at Empire. And we will definitely try to rent this place again when we return to Park City. Parking was easy- either on the street or in the garage. Always a space available. Place was just the right size and had all the amenities we needed. We could easily walk to the base of the mountain - across the street and through 2 parking lots. At night - it was a nice walk into town to enjoy all the stores and restaurants available. Just Perfect!

Reviewer Comments:
The condo was very clean with nice linen and towels etc. The facilities were very good with the hot tub and pool. The location is fantastic with a short walk to the mountain or, if preferred, bus stops outside and opposite. I only have one slightly negative comment in that several lights were not working including the one over the kitchen worktop which was a little frustrating (someone just needs to go in and replace a number of bulbs and check each switch). We would happily return to this property and highly recommend it.

Mostly good
Overall nice place to stay. Only complaint is the walls are thin and we can hear the people below us TV most of the stay. Beds were comfortable and unit was clean. Good size for small group.

Quick ski trip
Great location, convenient acces to Park City mountain and easy to get on the local bus to head into town or over to the Canyons. Very clean unit, however it is in severe need of new/updated bedding as I’m pretty sure our comforter was from the ‘80s.

Unclean, misleading listing
I am writing a review in hopes that other guests considering this property will not be mislead or feel unsafe in covid times as we did. First off, I will say that the location is great and easy walking distance to the slope! That is the best part of this unit. However, the kitchen and pans were dirty when we arrived. Further, the bedspread had stains on it. What is called a “king bed” in the listing is actually two twin mattresses put together, so each night we ended up with a gap in the bed. The fireplace didn’t work the first 2 nights we were there, and when I reached out to the management company to fix it, they instantly thought we had dropped the remote or something (which we did not). The management company did send someone to fix the fireplace on our last day. As we continued our stay, we found more and more cleanliness issues. There was food on various handles on the cabinets in the kitchen, food on the backsplash by the stove, and the fridge had not been wiped down. Then on the last day, I pulled out a folded towel from the drawer that had crusty yellow goop on it, which tells me the towels weren’t sanitarily washed (this wasn’t an old makeup stain or something that would survive a wash—it was crusty and yellow). The management company offered compensation for the fireplace and the bed, which I graciously accepted in resolution of those problems, but the biggest issue of the weekend was truly the cleanliness, and the company did not even address those issues in offering a resolution. This is after I had to contact them on 4 separate occasions after our trip, and was constantly told that someone would get back to me, and they never did. If the company had fully resolved these issues or at least acknowledged the cleanliness issue, I would have taken that into consideration on the review, but they did not. The cleanliness issues are gross before Covid, but in the age of Covid, I am particularly disturbed. I would not recommend renting this unit for health and safety concerns. I have pictures of the cleanliness issues and offered to send the same to the company, but they didn’t accept them / wouldn’t review them, so take that response as you will. They did offer to send someone to clean the unit, but I was on the slopes and unable to connect with the other guests to determine if that was acceptable to them. Also, when they offered that, I hadn’t yet discovered the most troubling cleanliness issues.

Great Location
We rented this unit for a long ski weekend during Covid (5 days). The property is located as advertised just a block or so from the main Park City base. We valeted our skis each day and just walked over with our boots - no driving, no parking! It is also just under a mile from downtown Park City with restaurants, bars, etc so we walked back and forth there multiple times. It was a great location for us.
Unit is clean and everything is newer and worked great. Pullout isn't the best but they never are and it was fine for one of our teenagers. We had a few minor glitches with getting access initially (old code) and others but Turnkey, the unit manager was very responsive and helpful. It was nice to have someone to reach out to, other than the owner, who is always on call.
We would go back in a heartbeat.

Reviewer Comments:
Place was as advertised with the following differences: 1. Directions given to place were a little difficult at night. A map would have been nice. 2. Bed in the master is not a pillow top king - it is two full size non (or very little) pillow top mattresses next to each other. If you are in the middle of the bed, you will fall in the crack. Not good. 3. One of the stools at the kitchen bar top was unstable - support was missing and found in a kitchen drawer. 4. Parking passes were not found in the rental. Called Turnkey. All they could do was read back the instructions I was already given (because I called after 6pm). It took 24hrs to get a pass. 5. The lock for the ski locker in the basement was broken. Had to store the skis in the living room instead. Turnkey tried to get in touch with the owner, but he/she never responded. 6. Pool and hot tub are only open from 4-10pm in the winter. 7. The dishwasher bottom drawer wheels do not follow the track. They fall off the track every time it is moved in or out. Besides these issues, the place was nice, location to the lifts were great, and the kitchen was well stocked.

Comfortable stay in Park City
This two bed, two bath condo is convenient to Park City Resort (400 yds walk) and has free shuttle bus stops right outside. The hot tub and pool are great for after-ski relaxation.
On check-in, the place was clean and lacked only a parking pass. I rang the property manager and was provided a temporary solution and the pass was delivered the next day.
The negatives are that the living room furniture has too-soft cushions and the lighting throughout is dim. Only the kitchen and bathrooms have ceiling lights.

Walk to lifts
Quick work trip parlayed with ski trip. 3 gals, 2 bedroom, 2 baths. Kitchen stocked, beds comfy, space adequate.
Reviews that needs to be reiterated.
1. Outside gate code different than door code given at checkin
2. STEPS- 12 down into complex then up 12 to get to 3rd floor. NO ELEVATOR but didn't really hinder us just needs to be restated.
3. Pull out sofa wasn't the most comfy but do-able for short trip.
4. Location was easy off/on slopes for families with older kids
5. Hot tub/pool uncovered only at night.
6. Uber about 5 min ride to town but bus stops across street! Walking distance to grocery, and Walgreens!
7. Purple BED AMAZING!!!!
ALL ELSE AS STATED ~

Cozy Condo near the slopes
We spent 4 nights in this condo, which is in a great location. It is a 5 minute walk to the bottom of the lifts and it's on numerous bus lines, with a stop almost directly in front of the building. Once you park your car you never need it again until you leave. Parking was a little tricky because there was so much snow! The condo is on the smaller size, but comfortable and big enough for 4. It was clean and well maintained. It could have used a few more bowls for cereal/yogurt but that's my only complaint! I definitely would recommend this unit.

Great Location, Edelweiss has fantastic amenities
Edelweiss Condo complex has an incredible location and great parking. It was so easy to ski - we laughed at morning the line of cars waiting to park at the mountain parking lot when our family could just walk across the street to the chairlift. The complex had great amenities - heated pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, laundry, BBQ grill, fast Wi-Fi, underground parking, etc. Our family will definitely stay at this complex again. The condo was also very nice - spacious, furniture was comfortable, very clean, all the appliances worked well - big TV's (although we could not figure out how to turn on the on in the family room). It was nice and quiet at night too – which is very welcome after a full day of skiing!

We had a great stay here. The unit is perfect. We had a bit of an issue checking in, with the lock box code not getting properly relayed to us. But the issue was resolved quickly once we made a call to Turnkey. Would definitely come back!

Everything was perfect!!
We absolutely loved our stay at this property. It was very comfortable. The living area and couch were awesome after a long day. The kitchen was well stocked with all the cookware we needed. Beds were comfy and pillows were awesome. Pictures are spot on. The unit was clean and well decorated. The location could not be better. Bus stops right outside the front door. It was the best place we've stayed in park city and we will keep it on our short list for future visits

Cozy Park City unit steps to slopes with great amenities!
Second time I've stayed in this unit, and will keep coming back. Less than 2 blocks to Seven Eleven for snacks or beverages, 5 minute Uber ride from downtown, 1 minute drive (or less than 10 minute walk) to free parking and lift access from units garage. This unit works great for hard charging skiers or folks looking for comfortable relaxation!

Great Unit, Great Location
This is our second stay at the same unit. The location is amazing, a short walk across the street to the chair lifts and the free bus stops every 5 minutes right in front of the building! This unit is nicely updated and you can tell it is very well maintained. Full kitchen is available if you want to cook, or you can walk less than a mile to downtown Park City (or take the shuttle). I would definitely recommend this unit to others!

Excellent unit in a great location!
We enjoyed this condo very much. Not only was it nicely remodeled and very contemporary looking, it is easy walking distance to Park City Resort. Oh, and look for the porcupine at Park City Resort off of the Silverload Lift! The free Park City bus stops right outside the condo for easy access to Main Street or a quick trip up to Deer Valley. The grocery and liquor store are a few minutes away by car, but also easily walkable. And, the outdoor sauna was soooo relaxing after a hard day of skiing. We love skiing at the various resorts Park City (and Utah!). We will return to both Park City and Edelweiss Haus condo!

over all nice place and clean but lots of stairs
nice place inside but you have to walk up narrow stair case to the third floor with no elevator. there is also no washer/dryer in the unit, that is in the basement with a coin operated washer dryer. pool area had no furniture and it was 70 degrees a few days. parking garage is a long walk from the unit so i park outside off the road designated for property parking. once you are in the unit it is very comfortable and clean.
