Amazing villa with a huge pool and plenty of privacy. The large terrace and spacious kitchen with a gas stove are perfect for cooking with friends. There’s even an extra shower and toilet by the pool. Ideal location for day trips to places like Syracuse or Noto. Highly recommend!

The villa was very comfortable and the pool area was a delight. The Hosts Rita and Paolo were absolute stars and did everything in their power to ensure that our stay was the very best that it could be, which it was, from advice on places to visit to extra provisions on arrival. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in this part of Sicily.

Four of us, 2 adults & 2 older children, stayed at Villa Ramadia in June 2022. Rita, the owner, was incredibly kind but not intusive. Best pool ever - clean, large and with both deep and shallow ends, set in a beautiful garden next to the stylish, immaculately clean house which has a well-equipped kitchen (plus veranda where you can also choose to eat) and bathroom with larger than usual shower. In fact there are also 2 other showers closer to the pool. Villa Ramadia is a 4 minute drive to Floridia with its narrow streets, preponderance of churches, pleasant squares, cafes, restaurants and several supermarkets. It is only a 15 minute drive to Syracuse, 20 minutes to Ortgia and 30 minutes to Noto, as well as several beachces such as Fontane Bianche from where you can get a train back to Syracuse - all fascinating places for a day trip or longer, after which it is a real pleasure to return to the idylic Villa Ramadia. Ideal for families, couples or a few friends.
It would have been nice to have an electric kettle but we managed by boiling water in a pan when we made cups of tea.
