Cozy farmhouse situated in Village of Empire with easy access to the beach and Village amenities. Short drive to Glen Arbor and the most popular access points for Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Short drive to nearby golf courses within 30 minutes of Traverse City, Leeland and other popular destinations. Two bathrooms, both with showers, window AC units in upstairs bedrooms with ceiling fans. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is porch side room for bikes and other gear.

This was my second stay at the Empire Farmhouse and it was wonderful! The owner is very responsive and the house is welcoming, comfortable and clean -- with all amenities. The location is hard to beat - around a corner and 5-10 min walk to the beach. We will be coming back!

Don’t judge a book by its cover. Driving by it looks like it could use a little TLC but inside is comfy, clean and updated!! It is well equipped with everything you could need!! The location is ideal- close to beach and steps away from shops, bars and restaurants. So much to do and explore in the area!

Our family had such a wonderful week at the Apple Blossom House! The house was plenty large enough for our big clan. We had so much space to spread out and enjoy our puzzles and games together. The outdoor firepit was great for morning and evening conversations thanks to the generous supply of firewood. Everyone had a nice and comfortable place to sleep. The kitchen is well stocked for making family meals. And best of all, the location! Right around the corner from amazing views of Lake Michigan and wildly beautiful sunsets! Across the street from Joe’s with the best burgers around! Make sure to visit Tiffany’s, The Secret Garden, Miser’s Hoard, the Library and even the EZ Mart all without getting into your car❤️ It was an all around lovely week and we certainly hope to return!

We loved our stay at the farmhouse! Francis was excellent in responding whenever we had questions. The location was perfect. We loved being able to walk to the beach and downtown Empire, which were so close to the house. If and when we come to Empire again, we would be happy to rent this property again.

We had a wonderful time during our stay here. Francis was wonderful with the communication and even went above and beyond and mail a few items the kids left behind. It is the perfect location and exactly what we were looking for family/kid friendly plus close to the beach. A well-appointed kitchen and with a great setup for eating dinner in the backyard and sitting around the fire pit telling stories! We can't wait to make it an annual trip! Thank you.

We had a great week in Empire! The house is right across the street from Joes Friendly Tavern and walking distance to Empire Beach (unbelievable sunsets). I’ve been vacationing at Glen Lake my whole life but this was my first time staying in Empire and it was a nice quiet change of pace. The house itself was clean and spacious and was stocked with everything you could need.

We had a group of 5 adults and 3 kids and the house had plenty of room for everyone to sleep, spread out and relax. You can't beat the location! The beach is such a quick walk, which is where we spent every afternoon, and even walked back at night because it was so close to watch four nights of spectacular sunsets. Location is prime for all adventures in the Sleeping Bear Dunes. We would definitely stay again!

Host was very accommodating! It was walking distance to the beach, you could hear the lake from the house. Location was perfect drive to the many towns we visited. House was perfect size for our family and two dogs and was well stocked. We could definitely stay here again.

Incredible property with everything you need! Lots of beds, well equipped kitchen, washer & dryer, fenced in back yard, fire pit, BBQ Grill…. What’s not to love? Located in the heart of Empire, MI right on the lake shore. Lake Michigan is a quick walk or even quicker drive away. Sleeping Bear Dunes is right around the corner. Close enough to Traverse City to be convenient, but far enough away to get away from the traffic and hustle and bustle. Also, if the sky is clear, there are A LOT of stars! Easy to reserve, and great communication from the Property Manager. Highly recommended!
