"What a view!", are likely the first words out of your mouth as you step through the door of Bellingham Bay View Suite! This fabulous, newly decorated condo has 2 bedrooms with queen size beds, 1 full bathroom, and a beautiful open concept living room/dining/kitchen. In addition, there is a large covered deck. No matter what the weather, from the living room or deck, you will enjoy the expansive view of Bellingham Bay, the Islands, and even Vancouver Island on a clear day! You can park your car on arrival and walk to everything! Fairhaven Village is just two blocks away and is filled with shops and restaurants. Taylor Street Dock and Boulevard Park is another fantastic destination and is accessible via a 4 block walk.

This is the second time I have stayed in this property and it really is a wonderful rental. It is conveniently located near Fairhaven (I walked up from the Amtrak station) and there are many restaurants and a grocery store nearby. I really appreciated the view of Bellingham Bay from both the comfortable living area and the cool deck sitting area. I will definitely stay here again.

This was the cleanest VRBO I have stayed in! The location of the property is so great. We walked to get breakfast and dinner. I could spend the whole day on the patio with the view. We enjoyed every minute and would definitely book again! Perfect stay!

We wanted a Bellingham base from which to visit friends and explore. This was perfect. Easy parking, light with wonderful views and well positioned. It was quiet and even the famous Bellingham train horn was not too noticeable!

The view of Bellingham Bay from this condo leaves a lasting memory for us! Our stay was to visit family for a Baby Blessing Ceremony in Bellingham and the unit worked out beautifully for baking some treats to bring, walking into Fairhaven for dinners or shopping, and enjoying the quiet peace of the neighborhood.

Sorry for the late review. We stayed in this beautiful home in January 2024, and it was wonderful. Our host, Barbara had clear and easy instructions to follow. From reserving the condo to arriving, Barbara kept in communications.
This home was warm, cozy and we relaxed by the fire every night. The ocean view was magnificent, and we enjoyed hanging out on the deck. I don't think this home could be any cleaner, it was immaculately clean. The downtown is quaint, and it is only a short walking distance to galleries, coffee shops and eateries. I highly recommend this condo and visiting the town. You will not be disappointed.

What a wonderful time we had! The property is cozy, comfortable, and clean. We enjoyed the fireplace in the living room and soaking up the sun on the covered deck! We will definitely be back!

It was as advertised on VRBO. Also, very clean, comfortable, great view and a well supplied kitchen. We like to cook. Liked having covered parking in carport too. Walk to downtown shops and restaurants.

From the moment we walked in, we felt welcome. Accent lights were on and cast a warm glow. The unit had everything one would need. Seating and beds were comfortable. The views over the Bay were fabulous and being able to easily walk to downtown Fairhaven was a big plus. The owner was responsive and helpful. All in all, a 5 star stay.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Everything was 1st class. The furnishings and details made the space very cozy and homey. The neighborhood was filled with fun restaurants and shops and so close by. And the view was unbelievable! Waking up everyday to a beautiful view of the ocean! Also, we were able to spend time out on the covered deck. Just perfect! We will be back!

Hidden gem in a quiet neighborhood with a view of Bellingham Bay and gorgeous sunsets! Beautifully decorated with meticulous house keeping and a furnished deck to fully enjoy the waterfront view,Tempted to move to this lovely community with boardwalks, eateries, theater and a sweet sense of community. First impression: amazing view! And by the way, the porch and inside are perfectly suited to relaxing and comfortably visiting with friends. The location, only a few blocks away from Fairhaven and the connecting walk/trail to Boulevard Park, is ideal. Walkability score = as good as it gets, with restaurants, shops, grocery store, and parks all nearby. Also, with only several steps to negotiate from the carport to the entrance, the unit is well suited to many people with mobility considerations.

It was extra warm during my stay, and I really appreciated the rolling shades on both the deck and the living room windows. Lowering those in the afternoon kept the condo a little cooler without completely obscuring the view. I also appreciated the portable A/C units in each of the bedrooms. I found that I only needed to run them briefly in the early evening, to cool the condo down, and then didn't need them overnight.

The West-facing deck is what sells this place with a 180° panorama view of Bellingham Bay and all the islands beyond. The condo itself is none to shabby either. Some nice unexpected touches, e.g.: a pair of binoculars to aid in scanning the docks, the bay and activity below the comfy deck. My two grown sons and I only wish we'd been able to spend a full week here.

We strayed at Bellingham View Condo for 5 days and it was wonderful. The location is excellent but the view and setting are even better. The condo is clean and has everything we needed,…although I will say,…we only cooked at the condo several times.

I met up with my Kiwi friends from New Zealand for a reunion. We are all retired and low key. Loved the quiet neighborhood and extraordinary and beautiful view. The neighbors were wonderful, accomodations perfect for us!! Than you so very much. I could live there!!
We enjoyed the Sparks Museum, a drive to Mt Baker and a tour of the islands.

We loved staying in Fairhaven and being able to access the bay view from our rental certainly made the trip exceptional. Could use a bit of an upgrade and having tile floors would be key.

Great location with amazing views. Walkable to all areas of Bellingham. The home was very comfortable and fully stocked with everything you need. The bedrooms are at the back home, insulating them from the Bellingham train noise. Would stay again.

This retreat is super comfortable, with all "modcons" (modern conveniences)--e.g., dishwasher, coffee station, washer/dryer, and California Closet set-up in the primary bedroom's walk-in. The balcony is thoughtfully furnished as a second dining and living room. Even though the temperature was only in the 50's this April, I sat on the balcony for hours under a cozy fleece throw--gazing at the shipping in the harbor and the San Juan Islands, occasionally spotting deer and a bald eagle right in the back yard. With the view being so outstanding, the location only steps from Fairhaven's shops and restaurants, and easy covered parking, you can't go wrong with this place. I almost don't want to praise it so highly, so that I might have a chance of it being available to book for my future trips! ;-)

The apartment is bright, spacious and furnished and equipped in such as way as to offer maximum comfort and relaxation. The view is outstanding. We three women friends felt as if were in a vacation home with warmth and personality. The location is wonderful for our browsing of shops, galleries and visiting good places to eat. Keenans on the Pier has the best fish tacos. A good choice of accommodation for a few days away reconnecting with friends.
