The reception staff
Our experience has been nothing short of dreadful.
• Shower door. If you pull it closed you effectively get locked in. Somehow the door gets jammed. I was literally trapped until my husband yanked the door open. This has happened a few times.
• Kitchen cupboard door was hanging off when we arrived. We had to wait in for a maintenance guy to come and fix it.
• Netflix was somehow locked into the last user so again the maintenance guy had to come over to fix it. We had no TV for the first three days. No terrestrial channels at all!
• No handbook on how to use the TV, a/c, dishwasher, oven, complicated lights system. Are we supposed to guess?
• The “sunset” views are actually views of big old cargo ships hanging around the port.
• For two days we inexplicably had no hot water. Return of the maintenance guy (for the third time) who had no idea how to fix it. The water now is at best lukewarm.
• Despite being on 17th floor the building is plagued by noise- constant construction noise and traffic in particular motorbikes.
• The curtains don’t fully close so by sunrise bedrooms are light and bright.
• There is no cleaning service unless you want to pay E50 per week. Very limited supply of cleaning products left in the apartment which I am now cleaning myself!
• And by far the most disappointing and misleading aspect- the pool area.. THERE ARE ABSOUTLEY NO SUNBEDS…. There is a restaurant with a seating area.. with a pool. They do not residents to relax by the pool and use it.. they want guests to eat with a view of a pool. I double checked this before I left and was lied to. I am now using the facilities of the Atlantica Miramare Hotel opposite that I now wished I had booked instead.
• On the occasions I did sit next to the pool here (on a dining chair) it was too windy to stay there. Perhaps this is why there are very few guests at the restaurant.
• Local restaurants are down market choose a photo type, topless bar and massage parlour.

Perfect location. All very well equipped. Spectacular views. Private parking was available and included within the apartment building. Nespresso machine with plenty of Nespresso tabs. Dishwasher also is plenty of dishwasher tabs. Fast Internet. Fast response from manager.
Sometimes there was smell from sewer pipe of the shower in the bathroom. But I did not complain, as I was busy working. Maybe they would’ve done something. In a place like this it should not happen in the first place.

The apartment is specatcular, view is stunning, position is good. ICON building is definetely the place to stay in Limassol
Overall stay was good, so this is more an inspiration than an indictment, but room wasnt ready when i arrived so had to wait for an hour before being able to check in. also found quite annoying that they wanted a 300€ security deposit, even though they ended up not asking me that

New building, perfect central location, large new apartment, easy parking
Only 3 hours to check in and time has to be agreed in advance, the lady who gave us keys could hardly speak any English, no knowledge about gym, pool, cleaning etc.
