- Take US-101 South from San Francisco.
Continue on US-101 South and take the CA-1 South exit toward Pacifica/Half Moon Bay.
- Follow CA-1 South for approximately 11 miles until you reach El Granada.
- Once in El Granada, use your GPS or follow local signs to navigate.
By Public Transportation:
- Take a Caltrain from San Francisco to the Millbrae Transit Center. Caltrain stations in San Francisco include 4th and King Street Station and 22nd Street Station.
- At the Millbrae Transit Center, transfer to SamTrans bus line 294 or 17.
- Take the bus to El Granada. You can check the bus schedule and plan your trip using the SamTrans website or app.
- Once you arrive in El Granada, disembark at a bus stop near our home.
Early check-in/Late check-out request:
Standard check-in is at 5 PM and check-out is at 11 AM.
Early check-in / late check-out request is possible with a fee.
Please send the early check-in request within 48 hours before your check-in time. Also, an extra guest fee applies after 8 guests per guest per night.
Additional note:
The initial rate includes accommodation for up to 8 guests, and for each additional guest, there is an extra fee of $35 per night per guest, which covers essentials and utilities. The maximum number of guests the listing can accommodate at is 14.

The place was very clean and close to the beach, which is what we wanted. We enjoyed our stay very much we would definitely come back again.

This home was over the top beautiful...and very clean! Plenty of space for my large family to spread out.
The ping pong table was an added bonus! The Kitchen was well equipped. Enjoyed the great ocean views fron upstairs. Perfect location near the Pillar Point Harbor and the many wonderful restaurants and beaches. I would highly recommend this home. And the hosts were extremely easy to communicate with. Can't wait to stay here again!

We had an amazing stay at this property. The house was very, very clean, and as advertised. We had 9 people and it had space for several more. The location is close to a shopping center and coffee shop, easy parking, and a beautiful view of the ocean. We found the kitchen well stocked for cooking for a group and it was nice to have the backyard space for kids to play. We were lucky to have great weather but the house stayed very warm in the evenings and during the night. Modern and renovated bathrooms upstairs. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others!

We rented this nearly 3,000 Sq. Ft. 4BR, 3BA home near (NOT in) Half Moon Bay for a very hefty price (over Six Hundred Fifty Dollars for each of 2 nights), Monday - Wednesday of Thanksgiving week. That price included a rather large cleaning fee. There were 5 adults and 3 children in our group. We asked if we could check in earlier, considering it would be dark outside by 5 PM, and a 5 PM check-in was very odd for any vacation or hotel rental. We were told we’d be charged an additional $50 to check in at 4 PM, AND that would be determined the day of check-in by when the cleaning people were finished! We passed the home a couple of times during the afternoon of our check in day, only to find no one on the premises and didn’t hear from the owner/manager until after 5 PM.
Though not in Half Moon Bay, (closer to Princeton) the inside of the home was spacious and clean (except for the oven, which was greasy and dirty). Bedding was nice, but we were each allotted one large bath towel, and I never did locate any extra’s. The games in the home were enjoyed by all of us.
Though the front porches had furniture on them, there were no cushions and we found cigarette butts on the porch floors and in the yard. The backyard patio was spacious and had nice furniture, but the cushions were stained and had a lot of debris on them so we were unable to use them.

This was the perfect little getaway for my daughter and her young adult friends. There was plenty of room for everyone and the common areas were perfect for games and sitting around and talking. Everything was very nice and clean. Communication was great with property manager.

This house was great for our multigenerational family of 11. Great views, clean and newly remodeled. The host was super nice and communicative. Only note is that the beds were super firm foam so if that’s not your jam, you may have a tough time getting comfy. Overall, I Highly recommend.

My friends, family, and I had an amazing time here. The home is gorgeous, and decorated beautifully! You also get a nice view of the water! The check-in process was easy and the host was very good about getting back to us in a timely manner. Definitely recommend this property and look forward to staying here again!

Comfortable and lots of space for the family. Kitchen had everything we needed...nice bonus room with ping pong table & basketball. Located one block from a grocery store and walkable to the harbor with lots of good restaurants and coastal trail.

This house was the perfect layout for our family - plenty of gathering spaces, bedrooms were spread out, great decor and the game room in the garage was fun for all ages. Nice location and clean. Property manager was incredibly quick to respond to questions during our stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home in Half Moon Bay. The home was spacious, clean, and pleasant, featuring great gathering spaces, private spaces, and beautiful views from the upstairs rooms. The balconies also enabled us to enjoy the ocean views from our quiet neighborhood perch. The kitchen was fully equipped and easily met our family’s needs.
The location was in easy walking distance to a very nice market, Spangler’s Market & Deli (offers a full range of locally sourced produce, meats, seafood, and groceries – everything we needed) and the Harbor (kayaking, restaurants, oceanside walking, running, and biking path).
The hosts were responsive and graciously accommodated our request for an early check-in. The check-in and check-out processes were seamless, exactly what you would want at the open and close of your stay. We would most definitely stay here again!

The house was clean and roomie. There was plenty of space for our extended family (8 adults, 6 kids). The family rooms and dining rooms were large enough to accommodate all of us. The location was great. We had bay views and an easy walk to the harbor with cafes and restaurants. The kids loved the game room in the garage which kept them busy and off their electronics.
It was an easy drive into San Francisco for a day trip.

We live in this area and get a VRBO for family whenever they come to visit, so we have several local experiences to which we can compare. This is definitely the best VRBO we've had yet. When we initially had a little trouble getting in, the owners were quick to respond and solve the problem. We scratched some items off the sight-seeing list just to stay and hang out at the rental. The kids enjoyed the ping-pong table and basketball hoop in the garage as well as the nooks upstairs and down in which to curl up with a book. The kitchen has nice new appliances. All in all a great experience. We definitely recomment this place!

Stayed in this house for three nights with girlfriends from work. Beautiful house, recently remodeled and refurnished, with wonderful decorator touches. Many unique and comfy little spaces to sit and talk, with coffee or wine. The house is centrally located among the many activities available in the Half Moon Bay Area. Highlights were shopping in town, and a visit to Andreotti Family Farms to pick sunflowers and see multiple varieties of pumpkins. We enjoyed several meals at the many nearby restaurants, even though the kitchen is well equipped with all appliances and cookware you could need. Wonderful view of the bay and Pillar Point Harbor from the upstairs sitting area. Thanks for a great stay.

We absolutely loved our stay and definitely recommend this beach house. The house was immaculate and newly remodeled. It had everything we needed. The host was very professional and easy to work with. The house was close to the beach and stores. Will definitely rent again!

A great location and beautiful home
We had a great stay. The home is well decorated and clean. The beds are comfy, with lots of towels and toiletries, and gorgeous bathrooms upstairs. The views upstairs were so lovely and I enjoyed just sitting and taking it in. We would be happy to visit again!
The only things I would say could improve it would be to have a tv downstairs… we don’t watch much tv so it wasn’t a huge issue, but also avoided watching it upstairs because we didn’t want to wake the kiddos. And the yards could use some tlc.
Also, for people who don’t know the area, you can hear the El Granada fog horn from some of the bedrooms. It didn’t bother us that much tho.
The management service was great to work with and communicated well and in a timely manner. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to stay again.
