Lovely property in fantastic location

Beautiful villa and accommodation for myself and 4 girlfriends. Lovely pool. And only a less than 10 min walk, down quite a few steps, but worth it ,to the small little fishing town with great restaurants, obviously all serving fish, but great. We would come back again.

A comfortable place to stay for a big group. Everything was clean and bright. We did not have the comforts we are used to when renting a VRBO home, soap, garbage bags, shampoo, TP etc. We called the PPTY manager and he said it was not usual to supply it, but was happy to drop some off for us within the hour. Very accommodating and friendly. We would rent this property again in a heartbeat.

Lovely villa, communication with Kelly the owner was great, met by George the property Manager, who was polite and informative.
The villa is, as advertised and is in a quite area in the village of Ferragudo.
Easy to walk to the main square in 10 minutes, lots of choices of cafes and restaurants. Also about a 10 minute walk to the beach.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We chose to hire a car, which meant we could go on trips to Silves and Sagres.
We took a boat trip to see the caves and dolphins and were really fortunate to see a Minke whale up close.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We spent 10 days here and we had a fabulous time. The villa is very spacious and had everything you would need. A couple of small issues but was soon rectified by the concierge and nothing was to much trouble. The town of ferragudo is lovely, with plenty of restaurants, shops and bars. Ideal for families.

Ferragudo is a very beautyful town and we had a great stay.
Even though there was a lot of seagulls in the area. They were a bit noisy specially in the mornings.
We got help to the airport transfer and it worked very well. The rest of the time we used Uber, that worked fine to.
We can recommend to see the Benagil Caves by kayaks.

We've just come back from 12 nights in this lovely villa. Plenty of room. All cooking facilities. Various tables to eat at. Bbq. Fantastic pool. Lots of bathrooms. Ideal for 2 families. Within walking distance of restaurants and beach. Regular water taxi over the estuary. Lovely quiet neighbourhood. Couldn't have asked for more, although the weather helped! Would definitely recommend

Just what we were looking for. Lovely little area, with great restaurants. Villa is good - just needs a bit of a refresh these days to make it perfect. Pool is fantastic - and heated! We've stayed more than once and would recommend. We had a great holiday.

We have been to four resorts in the Algarve region, but I must say, I think Ferraguda is our favourite by far. We are a family of four and holidayed with our friends - also a family of four. Casa Limoeiro catered to our every need. The size of the villa was ample for both families. All bedrooms are a good size, and we were lucky enough to bag the main suite - with its very own lounge area. I was impressed that there were four bathrooms too, a kitchenette area on the ground floor - which made it easier for drinks/snacks etc by the pool. Loved having the use of a utility room for laundry etc. We are big fans of self catering and we had everything we needed at the villa.
We didn’t really need the services of George (the concierge) but he was just a call away if required. Wilma, who looked after our airport transfers and also a day trip to the local water park was equally efficient.
The villa was in a perfect location - and I feel that this was the main highlight for us. We didn’t hire a car as we only stayed a week, but also, there was no need as we were 10/15 mins away from all local amenities. The main square in Ferragudo was lovely & perfect for dining out. Loved the bustling atmosphere of, and found all the local eateries offered great cuisine. The beach was 15mins away and what a delightful bay! In comparison to other resorts we’ve visited, this bay had a lot to offer. Two lovely restaurants - one of which (Club Nau) we visited twice. Beautiful setting right on the beach with live music/entertainment. Try the cataplana - it’s fab. The bay was a lot calmer than further up the coast, and because of this we were able to kayak, paddle board and enjoy the floating inflatable obstacle course. Beds/shades readily available to hire for half or a full day. Ferragudo is clearly a popular resort for the locals. We found everyone friendly and welcoming. Lidl is a walk away, but a taxi would be required to transfer all your shopping back! However, there’s a small local store on the way to the main square that had a fresh meat and deli counter which was perfect, especially if you wanted fresh produce for a bbq.
I wouldn’t hesitate to book Casa Limoeiro and the same transfer service again. Kelly (the owner) has been more than helpful since we booked, and because of our late arrival she went over and above to provide provisions we required to see us through until we were able to get to the shops. A wonderful & memorable holiday all round!!

Casa Limoeiro
Very spacious and well presented villa in an excellent location. Walking distance to the fishing village of ferragudo and local beach with easy access to the larger town of Portimão by water taxi. Didn’t need to hire a car as Uber taxis very efficient and cheap! The concierge George was extremely helpful despite being super busy and nothing was too much trouble. Had some wonderful meals out and the whole family thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Something for everyone here, regardless of age! Would definitely return.

Lovely stay
Host and owner very helpful and communication was great. Lovely stay in a quiet location apart from the seagulls which couldn’t be helped, we were warned. Not aggressive and didn’t bother us, just the sound at times. Pool area was great for our 4 year old. Granddaughter who was never out of it. Within walking distance to the restaurants and the beach. House was great, just in need of some upgrades to some appliances but the new owner has only just bought the property and had the decency to honour all bookings.

Fantastic Ferragudo Villa
We had a lovely stay at Casa Limero, we stayed for 10 nights. Kelly kindly arranged a transfer for us to get to her lovely property which was extremely helpful. The location was fantastic, we walked down to the village centre daily. The property was clean on our arrival with the provision of bedding, towels and some washing detergent which was very helpful. A welcome basket would have been helpful for people arriving late and not able to get to a shop to get some milk, water and a continental breakfast. We were in a quiet area and enjoy this. The children loved their visits to the local Water Park and Zoo and so did we as adults! It's a very safe area to take children and you can relax while they enjoy some freedom. We are definitely going to return to the Ferragudo area in the future. Thank you Portugal for a lovely stay :)
