Beautifully spacious, clean rooms, appreciated the kitchenette for making our food as well as the barbeque
When we first arrived, the paddles that were there for use of the kayaks and canoes were too short and some missing, but they were replaced a few days later I need a few more umbrellas for the beach as the only one there was broken. you need longer paddles for the paddleboards and canoes

Location is amazing. Staff polite but didn't have to do much as was self check in. Cabin has all necessary equipment provided snd is clean.
Cabin is a bit tired definitely time for a revamp. Curtains in bedroom and a new bathroom would be good. Fire out of action (not that it was required). Unfortunately during our 2 night stay. First morning tree cutters arrived at 8am and cut down 4 trees either side of cabin meaning we could not enjoy sitting outside to have coffee and breakfast as lorry, tree shredder and lifting equipment being used and about 6 men. We were not given prior warning if this or I would have requested to move. 2nd morning the smoke alarm randomly went off at 6am there was no fire. Had to remove batteries to stop it. We had a lovely time but these things were a bit rubbish.

Two mins away on the shallow lake which was prefect with the young kids.
Also kayaks and canoes was the focal point of attraction for our family. But if you guys can add Kayaks like blue flat one thats very helpful to balance for new learners….
Staff very friendly, Kayaks, and life jackets and fire log available most of the time.

My room was accidentally given to someone else but the staff on site was very helpful and very apologetic. They ended up solving our issue and finding an even better accommodation for us. Great service. Great place to stay!
The mosquitoes but obviously not the fault of the facility

I liked everything!!! But, what I liked most about staying at Muskoka Waterfront Resort was the fact that if I need to contact anyone through text, I received an immediate response to any concern from the moment I checked in, to the time I left. When I arrived into my cabin, it was freezing as the heat wasn’t working properly and the pipes were frozen. I immediately sent a text and within five minutes, a couple of the maintenance crew showed up, Joseph and Lady, who tried to get things working. Unfortunately, due to such cold temperatures, they had to move all of my belongings to another cabin – which happened to be a lovely two bedroom cabin facing the Lake. Joseph and Lady are the nicest, most accommodating people I have ever met and couldn't be kinder. As well as Lyle, who often works at the Lodge and who assisted with my television that broke down one day. I couldn’t have been happier and to which I booked another weeks vacation. The cabin was absolutely beautiful, spacious rooms, extremely clean, quiet and the view amazing!!! Bright and cozy with a working fireplace – excellent mattresses on the bed, as well as pristine white 100% cotton bedsheets, towels and kitchen utensils, were all provided. And, wood for the fireplace!!! Although somewhat 'secluded', you are surrounded by other little cabins in a very peaceful area, with access to the lodge if you need to read a book or bring your laptop and work. Excellent Wifi connection too. The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that I was comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble.
There was nothing I did not like

Management staff on site seemed very helpful, due to freezing weather, running’s water was frozen in our cabin(windmere)and we got to know about that after checking in ! Was given a small chalet as an option so we had walk to the chalet in -15 to use the facilities! And we couldn’t stay in the chalet as it was very small ! Management on site did whatever the could for us !
We tried texting the owner(nick contact provided during booking ) about no running water situation after checking in but we never got any reply back even though i talked to him on the same number day before checking in! I got to know that the running water froze the night before our check in but we were only informed after checking in ! So i paid for a cabin with no running water and only option we were provided was to either move to a very tiny apartment chalet or walk there and use the facilities there !

Location is amazing, extremely easy check in, very comfortable stay close to nature but also access to high speed wifi. Cute fire pits patios. Access to canoes, kayaks and paddle boards and a gorgeous Waterfront to explore on.
BBQ didn’t work strong enough to cook our steaks-thankfully there was a mini induction stove inside.
Waterfront wasn’t great for our son as it was up on a stone ledge, but otherwise gorgeous, just not great for his age.
Cleanliness in main lodge could have been a bit better, smelt moldy when we first walked in which immediately gives you a bit of a strange feel. But overall we still loved it.

Everything!!! Self check-in was so easy and hassle free. I was sent an email with all the code numbers and a detailed very simple easy to understand instructions regarding the structure. The staff are very discreet respectful and always ready to accommodate any need. The cottage was equipped with everything and I mean everything ...shampoo..bodybwash.. dishwashing soap....towels ....linens . The surroundings....I cannot describe !!! You have to see for yourself .
Everything !!!

Great Property to explore, secluded and by the water. The use of water equipment was a bonus and some great areas to sit by the water.
there was no staff on-site outside of the office hours. The window didn’t have a screen so bugs were getting in and the heat/cooling was broken.
we had an EXTREMELY obnoxious group in the room next to us BLARING music between 1-3am and no one to contact to deal with them. it was highly disruptive.

staff service was bad our washroom flush was leaking we complained but no one bothered to take care of it. Washroom was flooded with water and it was stinking we asked if we can be given another room they declined. For 2 days we had to use someone else’s washroom. Also when asked why this was not checked earlier since a functional washroom is pretty basic they were quite nonchalant abt it. the staff said you can still use the Pot to take dump. Now imagine how can one take dump and not flush .. quite shocking since the location is scenic but the property is not well maintained. Pillow were not clean, washroom was not functional
washroom was not functional , shower was old and making noise.

It was a beautiful cozy cabin in front of the beautiful lake. The kitchen was well stocked, and we also enjoyed time in the lounge. The place is pet friendly- another bonus as we could not leave our pregnant cat behind!
We just thought it was way too small for our family of four. They have no place to store clothes or even leave dirty laundry or towels. The toilet exhaust almost vibrated the entire cabin - too loud!

Self check in. Nice room
The room needed a paint job badly.
The worst thing about the experience though is the amount of ice we had to manouvre to get to our room. It really was quite trecherous hauling our bags through the the icy downhill.

Location was beautiful.
Would have like a clothes closet/place to hang our coats. Not enough parking, had to park on the road.
5.0 / 10.0
The location in front of the lake was good, and there was a pool table and board games, so it was nice to play with the kids.
The BBQ grill was too dirty and I couldn't use it because there was no gas. The color of the toilet water is yellow. There is no staff and no calls.
