Nice old time cabin feel to the rooms with gas wall heater that puts out all the heat you could want. It snowed 30" while we were there and I could not get my car out. While I was shoveling it out to put chains on, a guy in a Jeep with a snow plow saw me and turned around to plow beside and in front of my car - waved at me and headed down the road. Saved me a lot of shoveling. Very nice people in Red River.
No manned office. Contactless access via text. Not advised of this until day before check in in the afternoon. On the edge of town, 15 minute walk down the road to get to where the Songwriters Music Festival and restaurants are. If you are driving or using the free town shuttle until 5pm, this is no big deal. If walking back at night, is a bit far and no lighting for majority of walk. Can hear a normal level conversation in next room.

Charming little lodge on the west end of town.
No air conditioning, so the window stayed open. The room faced Main Street and the noise from the street was dreadfully, constantly loud.
4.2
It was extremely clean and the owner was accommodating and friendly! I will definitely be staying there again!
The stairs were kinda hard to climb, but we managed.
4.2
Location and cleanliness
No Air Conditioner. My room was very hot even with the fans running
4.2
Clean, complementery water & snack
Dingy bed spread and outside carpeted walkways, loud noised from other rooms, narrow stairway, exterior needs maintenance
4.2
Friendly and helpful owners that introduced themselves when arrived and also wrote a personalized note in our room welcoming us.
Creaky floors and beds that come with the age of the property.
4.2
A very comfortable and cozy room! Beds were great. We were in family room that included kitchen essentials and a Keurig coffee maker! The location was perfect - quiet but close to restaurants and shops.
4.2
Staff friendly and communicative. Room was very clean. Nice sized fridge and the coffee maker was certainly appreciated. No a/c, yet placing the fan in the window (as suggested by the owner) helped cool things down. Amazing hummingbirds all around the property.
Sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable and too short (and I’m only 5’1”). Suggest bringing your own pillows too. Because we had the fan in the window, it meant we had to keep the blinds up and this resulted in dealing with car headlights shining into our room throughout the night as our room faced the main road. Felt quite expensive for what we got.

So clean and cozy. Sleeping with the window open was wonderful because you could smell the fresh pine scented air!! Such a lovely getaway spot !!

The owner was welcoming and helpful. The lodge itself has the older esthetic with the rooms upgraded into cabin like decor. Nice rooms, kitchette, bathroom. Fire pit outside as well as corn hole and view of soo many hummingbirds enjoying the nectar put out for them outside many of the rooms.
The parking was tight around the lodge.

Breakfast was not served.

The room was adorable and had extra things you could need for your stay
There were no curtains and it was so bright in the room I could hardly sleep. The water in the shower turned scalding hot then freezing.
4.2
Owners and ancillary staff are very available and accessible and very helpful. I Love the bottled water on arrival since the altitude is so high!
4.2
It was a very quiet place.
The Checkout is at 10:00am. The standard room is small.
4.2
The place was clean, easy check in process, and budget friendly compared to other options in town.
Only complaint I have is that the futon was about as hard as a board. The bed was very comfy though.
4.2
Clean, affordable and cozy.

We loved our stay so much that we booked for next year! The owners left out little snacks and notes throughout our room. We texted them for anything we needed and they were promoted at getting back to us. Definitely big bang for bucks!
There wasn’t a front desk, which was fine, just different. The room was a little outdated but they did really well in making up for that with all the other little accommodations.

Secluded but still “in town”. Clean room. Response host.
Beds could be more comfy.
4.2
Room was clean and loved the small touches of the snacks and coffee. Had a microwave & fridge.
Location was at end of town but great for us.
Could have used a heater in the bathroom and bed was firm. Shower water temp was not constant.
Parking off street was very icy and slick to get to steps to load and unload.
I would stay again, just not in the same room.
4.2
Convenient location. Easy check in. Snacks and bottled water were a nice touch.
Walls are paper thin. Could hear neighbors' conversations, snoring, bathroom use, clearly on both sides and through the wall furnace. Toilet ran all the time unless you opened the lid and reseated the flapper every time you used the facilities. Shower temp went from freezing to scalding when person in neighboring room used water at the same time.
4.2
very clean and cozy
needed a new coffee pot
