That it was a place to sleep for the night.
I didn’t like The fact that there was no people to contact on the property. I got locked out of my room and what should’ve taken five minutes to get back into my room took almost an hour. I had to make several phone calls was placed on hold for a very long time, and then I was able to talk to a property manager over the phone which I was then doing their job to get me access to my room. I had to go into the laundry room. I had to access a lock box to get keys for my room there were no keys for my room in the lock box so then I went into the laundry room and had to go find the spare keys on a board hanging on the wall , this took me about 45 to 50 minutes to get into my room absolutely a horrible experience and a total inconvenience. I paid $250 for a king size bed and got a queen size bed and no customer service at all. I feel a refund of some sort should be offered.

Nothing I didn't like. I would stay here again.

-The bed was comfy
-Location was relatively close to Palisades Tahoe - closer to Northstar.
Where to begin. As someone who's stayed at multiple different cheap hotels in Tahoe - I would recommend America's Best Value Inn, Firelite Lodge, Stevenson's Inn - all nicer, better value and better customer service than what I received here. If you want no wifi, freezing room, sporadic water, unclean apartment, dangerous icy path that wasn't cleared - don't stay here.
1. No wifi the entire stay.
2. Because there was no wifi - also no entertainment options to use either.
3. When followed-up with customer service they said technician would arrive tmrw when I was already checked out. I asked if any compensation would be given - and the customer service rep just ghosted me and didn't respond.
4. It took 3 hours for the place to be warm enough to even take a shower. It was freezing. To the host's credit - gave me an additional space heater. Not comfortable at all for the first 3 hours.
5. I had to pay $123 extra for cleaning. When I arrived - the shower was still wet - like someone had taken a shower - there were blond hairs on the shower curtain ( I have black hair), sticky wet stuff right in front of the shower, liquid spills in the refrigerator, weird black specks in the bowls provided, and a massive rust stain from the garbage bin in the bathroom
6. When I finally got to shower - the heat/cool settings were so delayed it took 15minutes before I could even find the right temperature.
7. The stairs going up to the chalet room were completely icy and super dangerous walk-on. I had to wait while another guest took 5 minutes to go down 3 steps because she was so scared she was going to fall.

I booked a 2-bed room but ended up getting a single bed room. The heater didn't generate enough heat and the room was super cold. I called the host but nobody picked up the phone. Overall experience was really bad.

Location was perfect. Overall it was updated nicely and pleasant.
Bathroom was stuffy upon arrival. Seems like the bathroom fan doesn’t stay on. It only turns on when it notices steam from the shower. Wish it would’ve be an on and off switch to help with the stuffiness.

location
When we arrived our door was open. The place where the dead bolt went into the frame to secure the lock looked as if the jam would not hold if any force were placed on it. My wife and I spent the day at the facility because we did not trust the lock. Very bad! Under the very narrow king bad had not been cleaned in months, dust so thick you can write things in the dust accumulation. Shower curtain didn't secure water inside the shower and the shampoo and conditioner containers hanging in the shower was empty. The code did not work upon arrival, there were others not able to get in. I had to call to get the correct sequence.

loved location, walkable.. convenience of access. thank you for microwave, fridge, and dishes
unfortunately hot time of year but fans were provided. Shower was maybe ADA and leaked water over entire bathroom floor. We did have towels to take care of, opportunity to weed the property and present some curbside appeal.

Conveniently located within walking distance of both the lake and numerous nearby shops and restaurants. A good area to stay in if you're trying to avoid the more crowded parts around the lake. However, don't forget to factor in the time it'll take to get there even after you arrive at Lake Tahoe – if you're coming from south of the lake, it'll take the better part of an hour to drive around to King's Beach at the north end.
The surge protector into which the heater and and Keurig machine are plugged isn't heavy-duty enough to handle the amounts of power needed – it kept tripping after a few seconds, making it impossible to use either device. This wasn't a big deal for me since I was staying at the end of June, but it would be a real problem for winter guests, since there's no other apparent way to heat up the unit. The surge protector definitely needs to be replaced.
Another problem is that the blackout curtains do not fully cover the windows, meaning that it's always possible to see into the room from the outside through some part of the windows. I just made sure to change clothes inside the bathroom, but it's a privacy concern nonetheless.

The room wasn’t the cleanest…

No breakfast available. The location was close enough to walk to restaurants and the beach.
The heater on the wall kept flipping the breaker so we had to find another outlet for it. The bed and pillows were not that comfortable. There was a very little table and chair set, not really usable.
