It is self catering, with that atleast they are close to saverite where you can buy something to eat.
About the location I would like to believe that ois is good and quiet you can literally study without any disturbance unless noise is caused by the property helper.
There must be proper showers and the bathroom needs to be cleaned atleast twice a day because it is used by evryone who booked in at that time.

I did not like anything about that place.
1. The garage door was not locked & the car i rented was not safe.
2. The person who welcomed us was not so friendly & looked like she was a homeless girl who have
never had a bath for days.
3. The room we were given wasn't the one i requested for which i asked for the one with 2 beds &
I was given the one with 1 bed.
4. The bed itself had a dirty red sheet & dirty pillows with the dirty walls around it.
5. The room was also full of the dust & we decided not to sleep at all because of all the discomfort.
6. I was promised to be refunded my full amount as i left but to date that hasn't been paid back to me
yet.
7. We had to sleep in the car parked near the beach in town until the next morning when we found
another accommodation.

The location was perfect, had good views and a few roads to go for walks on.
EVERYTHING!! the place is terribly kept! The “lawn” outside that looks like ANYTHING can come out of it is hideously overgrown. There are COBWEBS everywhere you look and touch including the microwave in the kitchen and the windows that are opened everyday. The lounge window is broken and mosquitos feast on you if you sit in the lounge.
The lights outside don’t work normally, as a guest I had to go with another male guest to play around with the electric wires to get them to work. The Toilet, which is the ONLY working toilet in the house is passably okay but it has no hand basin so after using it you have to go outside the house via the kitchen to wash your hands under a tap there.
Don’t get me started on the only and universal bathroom in the house. the toilet doesn’t work and is covered by a kitchen cabinet written ‘out of order’. the sink has a ‘do not touch’ sign on it, the shower floor and window seal are filthy and cobwebbed. the drainage in the shower is terrible and you’ll be stepping in filthy water when you taking a bath. the shower curtain is trimmed with dirt and grime.
The kitchen cupboards are off the hinges and hanging or leaning against the walls. It is infested by huge 2inch long cockroaches and small ants that are everywhere. there is a film of grime everywhere you look. the bin outside had maggots this morning.
The ventilation in the bedrooms leaves a lot to be desired. the beds themselves are the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on.

The property was clean and safe. the wife was great too, above that Ida( the lady in charge was very welcoming), I checked in very late but she was understanding, even told her I will be back some day.
The bathroom and the toilet was clean but needs to be renovated and the people currently living there shouldn’t just leave their cosmetics just lying around and hanging their underwears and towels in the bathroom. lastly, just a suggestion for future, it would be nice if the owner can put fans or air conditioners in the rooms, Durban is hot and you can’t leave the windows open due to mosquitoes. thank you

To be honest , literally only the staff was nice to us.
Everything. Place is deceiving from pictures.
Doesn't say that's it's a room shared amongst others in the house which is literally not safe at all. Only 1 key for room door no house door keys had to wait 10mins for someone to open . Majority of the facilities are broken place is extremely terrible and untidy . Also very dirty
