Beach Bliss is a four-bedroom beach retreat in an ideal location for the perfect Outer Banks vacation. Located in the heart of the Outer Banks in Kill Devil Hills, this home is within walking distance or a short drive to local beach shops, a variety of restaurants with local flavor, and great attractions for the entire family...some of our favorites are the Wright Brothers museum and memorial, Jockey's Ridge state park, and of course the gorgeous beaches. Best of all, Beach Bliss is a short stroll away from the shore, as beach access is only 530 feet from your back door.
On the Ground Level of this wonderful home, enjoy easy access to the Washer/Dryer for quick, mid-week washes and a convenient Queen Master Bedroom with a Full Bathroom to go get some rest! Outside, rinse off in the Outdoor Shower after you've spent the day at the beach, and cook up your favorite catch-of-the-day on the Charcoal Grill after you've prepared it on the Fish Cleaning Table. Soothe your weary muscles in the warm, bubbly Hot Tub before taking a dip in the luxurious 12'x25' Private Pool nearby.
Make your way up to the Top Level where you'll find plenty of open space to enjoy time with your family or simply relax as you gather around the Flat Screen TV on a rainy afternoon. TVs throughout the house are equipped Roku and Hulu Live, so it's never been easier to stay connected while you escape to the Outer Banks. Lay back on the Sleeper Sofa in the Living Area before whipping up something delicious in the Kitchen with all modern appliances and amenities for making a fantastic seafood feast. Eat together in the open-concept Dining Area or step out onto one of the two Sun Decks for an al fresco dining experience with a side of ocean breezes. At the end of a long, wonderful day of living the beach life, retreat to the Queen Master Bedroom with a Full Bathroom and Deck Access, the additional Queen Bedroom, or the Bedroom with 2 Twins, perfect for the kids. Enjoy the convenience of the Full Hallway Bathroom and then take advantage of all the space you have to unwind in Outer Banks style. When you stay at Beach Bliss, some of the best OBX dining spots are a short walk away, including Daredevil's Pizza -- one of the best pies you'll find on the island! Another tasty choice within walking distance is Bonzer Shack. Their fish tacos with fried mahi-mahi are unbeatable! If you're looking for a good time in the evening, Bonzer Shack has that as well. It's a popular nightlife spot for both locals and tourists with a large, enclosed yard outback. Some nights, they even host DJs and live bands! Be sure to check out the Wright Brothers Memorial. Kill Devil Hills is where the Wright Brothers took their first flight and the fun in this area has been soaring ever since. Learn all about it when you visit the interactive museum. In the mornings, head over to Bob's Grill for a breakfast of champions! Pro tip: if you're super hungry you can try their dozen-egg omelet, but we bet you won't finish it. Prove us wrong! For lunch or dinner, you can't go wrong with a burger from Jack Brown's Beer & Burger Joint -- all their delicious burgers are made from 100% wagyu beef. The Outer Banks Brewing Station offers fun for the entire family! They have cornhole and acoustic performances in the large outdoor fenced-in area some evenings from 6-9 PM and live bands for the adults from 10 PM to 2 AM on the weekends (pending seasonal availability)! You'll be sure to find your bliss at Beach Bliss year after year!
