Ice clean property, close to pier and quite at nights.

My family of my wife and 6 month old son really enjoyed the Driftwood Cottage. The rental was exactly like how it looked online and met our expectations. Unfortunately, the city of Duluth was experiencing low water pressure and lack of warm/hot water in our rental so we were unable to stay in the Cottage for the four nights that we had planned. But once we contacted the rental management about the issue, they were able to get us moved into a new rental that was not experiencing the same issues. The new rental we stayed in was just as great as the Driftwood Cottage. We are already hoping to return another time to stay again!

The property was as stated online,
Was clean, comfortable, and host was very easy to work with, good location across from beach we would stay again when in the area

Had a fly-in of our aircraft organization -- Thur-Mon. Had a dog so needed a dog-friendly place to stay. The cottage was in a perfect location -- halfway between Skyharbor Airport and downtown. Cozy cottage -- well-maintained.
Clean. Everything we needed.
Good time.

I would definitely stay at the Driftwood Cottage again. It was convenient to everything, and I felt like if I had a problem (I didn't), the management company would have been very responsive.

Right near a nice little beach with a beautiful view. Close to canal park with plenty of dinning and drinking options! Perfect place to stay for two people. Very comfortable and very close to everything you could want or need.

Needed to disapear. It was everything we needed

Cozy little cottage across the street from the beach. Accommodations were as described and convenient for us and our two dogs! Space was clean and easy to find - just an FYI that parking is located out back of the rental! More lights to locate this area would be nice, but all in all, a great spot.

Cozy place to stay while enjoying Duluth. Great location.

This is a cute cottage with a little kitchen and a fenced in yard. Perfect for our family of three and a small dog. We visited Duluth for a Figure Skate competition but needed a place we could bring our little rescue with separation anxiety. This was perfect, clean, great ambiance and customer service.

It was a great place to stay at. Loved the quaintness of the cottage. Loved the coziness! We would definitely stay again. Close to Canal Park.

Was just what we hoped. Cozy and cute, clean and comfortable.
We loved it. It put smiles on our faces.
Neighborhood felt safe. We were there for a winter getaway. I would have booked one more day in hindsight.

We are real estate agents, had a closing in Hermantown and decided to make a mini vacay out of it. This little place was affordable, convenient, clean and ideal for having 2 dogs. We will definitely stay again!

Great location, great property. Included everything we needed for a great few nights. Only small downside was the hot water in the shower was not the hottest.

Very cozy cottage equipped with everything one might need for a short VRBO stay. Clean. Felt support from host. Good use of space. Ideal for a couple. Fenced yard worked well for our dogs. Beach was close for morning stroll.

We loved staying here. We were able to bring our kayaks into the yard for security. The beach access was perfect. Next time we will be better shoppers as there is no reason to eat out. We alos plan to bring a camping grill.
The futon was comfy for sleeping although we plan to keep our stays to just is two.
Loved seeing the buoy yard and watching the ships go in and out. Very fun if you have binoculars and get the shipping schedule apps.
4.9
We loved the seclusion yet being so close to everything! The yard was a little oasis!
4.9
Clean, cute, and comfortable! Within walking distance of everything we wanted to see and do in canal park, bayfront area, and park point beach. Will stay again!

The cottage is small, perfect for a couple of people. Bed could use a foam mattress topper to help with the lack of cushion on the mattress. Be careful when going thru the entrance gate, the make shift steps are loose landscape blocks, not much of a step. The stay was a good experience otherwise.

The pictures look decent enough.
First off, when you get the email or communication with the special instructions on where to turn and park, screenshot them. I saw them once, didn't memorize them, could not find them again, and had to drive around for a few minutes before a resident near the property pointed out to us where to park. The signs are very small.
Then you walk down a little path to an old gate. When you step through, you realize there are two small places that share the same little fenced in "yard." If you have a young dog that gets a little excited and likes to run up to people and greet them, better keep them on the leash even inside the yard area just in case your neighbor comes out.
Once you step inside the cottage (whichever one of the two on the same property you booked at) you will notice that the wood in the walls and ceiling of the living room are very rough cut. You could easily get a splinter by running your hand over it. Most people wouldn't but a child very easily could if they didn't know any better.
The couch was hard as a rock. Eight pillows doesn't make that more comfortable. The chair was easily the only comfortable piece of furniture in the cottage. The bed was also hotel level rock hard. The small pieces of decorative wood next to the bed are too small to serve as viable night stands. You could maybe fit a cup of water and glasses. I ran out of space for this review.
Just stay at a hotel is my overall summary, unless you have pets like us.

Great stay. We found the cottage to be very cozy and comfortable. Just what we were looking for to spend our anniversary. My dog really enjoyed it too.

We had a great stay at the Driftwood Cottage! It was super cute, had everything we needed, and it was in a fabulous location. Our kids (ages 12 & 14) loved having the beach right across the street. The bed was very comfortable, everything was spotless, and we loved that we could bring our dogs. It was close to Canal Park, but also quiet and somewhat secluded in its own little area. We were grateful for the AC since we were there on some of those rare 80 degree days. I would definitely stay here again!
