Great weekend in the Burgh. 2 Pirate games and the Backyard Brawl. Location was perfect for a weekend at PNC and Heinz Field (yes I know it has been renamed). Less than 6 minutes to the p-lots. Starbucks 2 minutes from the unit. The unit was great and host checked in (thru VRBO) to make sure we had everything. We will stay again. If going for the weekend we suggest stopping at the grocery store prior to arrival. We have some dietary retrictions and the local stores did not have the food we needed.

Just as shown in pictures. Quiet. Ample parking. And a great view of the city. Also was 5 minutes from the stadium.

This is a generous and spacious place with an unbelievable view. The fact that it’s a historic building makes the interior spaces capacious and somewhat dramatic. The off street parking is a definite perk. And there are stairs for easy access to the north shore neighborhood below. Having two people working remote worked well and the internet was fast and reliable. Would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay here. The rental unit is modernized, but it’s in a large old house with a lot of character. The unit had everything our party of three needed. The view of downtown Pittsburgh is fantastic, and the location is a short drive to the North Shore or I279. If you’re driving to Pittsburgh’s northern suburbs, you’ll get to experience the winding roads and eclectic neighborhoods in Pittsburgh’s hilly neighborhoods.

We loved our stay over at the castle! Super clean and easy to access. Highly recommend

Warren Castle makes for a nice place to stay in the hills above Pittsburgh. The view of downtown Pittsburgh is gorgeous. The Fineview neighborhood is off the beaten path but it's a short drive to interesting places on the north shore.
The unit is very spacious and well maintained. The owner communicated well with me. The bonus is the parking lot at the castle.

Gorgeous, spacious option with high ceilings and lovely details. The view of the sunset and the city from here is breath-taking.

We enjoyed our stay at Warren Castle. The space is decorated beautifully and functional. I was pleasantly surprised to have hangers readily available to hang up my clothes. Thank you for sharing your gorgeous property with us!

Perfect location and amazing views. Away from the noise of the city but close enough to get there in less than 15 minutes. Will definitely book again!

The place is outstanding, a historic landmark with great city views. However, our stay was spoiled by the owners' lack of interest in correcting a critical flaw. There was only one bath towel per guest for the whole stay and no laundry facilities (not even where to hang them to dry). Therefore, the towels would never dry in Pittsburgh's terribly wet weather. I kindly asked for extra towels, but the answer was that "we had enough". I've travelled worldwide, and not even a cheap roadside motel will deny you extra towels. That was a bad call that almost ruined our trip.

When we arrived, we were met with a horrible stench in the apartment. We immediately contacted the host but didn't really get much in terms of help in the situation. The location was spectacular, and the building itself is great, especially for the deal I got.
A few oddities, I was unable to book a day before or day after my final dates, but the host reached out to say that those days were available if we wanted. Also, they messaged about giving a 5 star review after neglecting to address my problem, or help with checkout instructions. Would have brought my own air fresheners next time.

Getting here was a tad tricky, GPS takes you to the alley way, you need to come in the front on Henderson St. Parking is ample and private, right next to the house. The view is just magnificent. Get to see right downtown and a very close drive to get to things. The bedrooms were spacious and had velvet hangers. They also had power outlets on the night stand with regular power plugs and USB plugs. Beds were comfy and had an extra pillow if needed. This is a historic building and all the moldings, medallions, tiled closed fireplaces are just gorgeous. They have 2 chairs on a wrap around porch to sit and enjoy the the evenings with a fire pit as well. This is a very nice property. I’d highly recommend!!!

Really enjoyed the homey feel and spaciousness. The beds were comfortable and this may sound crazy but the sheets were amazing.....so soft! Love to know where I could but exact ones.

My family stayed at this location for a Spring Break, hockey getaway. We are from Illinois so the hills and steep roadways were worrisome but we got used to it quickly. The owner was easily connected and responded quickly if needed. Outside views of the city were gorgeous!

Great views of downtown. Tiny kitchen, but with a dishwasher. Could use actual hot water in the shower/tub. Comfy sleep. Neighborhood is a little sketchy, but easy access to downtown and surrounding areas. Great parking.

Large 2 bedroom apt inside a historic home that looks like it has been divided up into apts / condos. It wasn't luxurious but it was furnished well. Keep in mind it's in Pittsburgh Proper, not the quiet suburbs. That's why we rented it. You'll need a car to get around, nothing really in walking distance. Good place to be on fireworks night. Owner was immediately responsive to issue we had. I would come again

We had a great time at Tom’s place. Very clean, walking distance to PNC park and good food near the stadium. We had a memorable meal at Eddie Merlot’s, wich is downtown. Thanks for everything Tom!!

I recently stayed at this property for a night, and the accommodations were fantastic. I brought my dog, and it was a really dog friendly place. The view of the city is absolutely breathtaking. I will be sharing this with my family in case they would like to stay here when they come into town for Pitt games.

Wonderful Place!
I stayed here for nearly a week and a half when I first moved into the Pittsburgh area, before I was able to gain access to my new apartment. My sister was also with me for nearly half of the time. We both really loved this unit in the house and it had practically everything we needed. We found that we could really relax during our stay. During my stay, the washer and dryer in the basement wasn’t working, so I had to go use a laundromat on one occasion, but other than that, everything was lovely. The design of the entire place is really modern and inviting. The fact that there are a bunch of things provided in the bathroom (shampoo/conditioner/body wash, also q-tips and cotton balls) is so great (and they were really of nice quality). The kitchen also has K-cups provided for the Keurig machine. My sister and I also found ourselves relaxing on several evenings watching TV and movies on the big TV in the living room. I would highly recommend this location for anyone needing a good place to land on the Northside of Pittsburgh (and there are a lot of places one can visit right in that area). I will end saying that the view from the house (and just by looking out the windows) is an incredible view of the city skyline. You can also walk up the hill and go to a viewpoint one street up that is even clearer.

Awesome property, incredible host
We had an awesome experience at this historic, yet classic property. It's beautifully renovated, retains a lot of the antique fixtures, and provides a wonderful view. We'll gladly book this space again!
