About this house rental
The spacious two-bedroom condo is a great basecamp for any Telluride trip with its prime location along the River Trail at the Bear Creek Falls trailhead.

This lovely two-bedroom, two-bathroom home is located in the D building of the Riverside complex. To enter the home, guests will descend a flight of stairs from the parking lot.
Upon entering the condo, guests will find a boot bench and storage area before the hallway opens up to a large great room. This area includes a living room, dining room and kitchen. The living room has a flatscreen TV, Roku, DVD player, southwestern-style gas fireplace and a queen pullout sofa. Sliding glass doors lead to a large covered deck with seating and a small table with views of Mt. Emma, the San Sophia Ridge and the valley.
The living room is open to the dining room, which has seating for eight with two additional stools at the breakfast bar. The adjacent kitchen has everything needed to cook at home, including a microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, blender and crockpot.
The bedrooms are located on the west side of the home off of a short hallway. The master bedroom has a king bed that can be split into two twins upon request, a flatscreen TV, DVD player and multiple windows, making it light and airy. The ensuite bathroom has a single large vanity and an oversized shower/tub combination. The second bedroom has two twin beds that can be made into a king bed and a flatscreen TV. The bathroom is located in the hallway and has a large vanity and a step-in shower with built-in seating.
Guests can enjoy wifi, a great location, and a ski locker located right outside of this home.
The Riverside complex has two outdoor hot tubs with glass surrounds so you can enjoy the trees and views.
Downtown Telluride, the gondola and Lift #8 are all within two short blocks of Riverside. Town Park is a stone's throw to the east, and the Bear Creek trailhead is just off the parking lot.

We have stayed in this condo many times for Bluegrass and are sorry we won't be able to come back. It's a great place in a fabulous location but the pricing algorithm that AvantStay is using has finally priced us out of the market.

My husband and I enjoyed every minute of our time in telluride. The location was great with walking distance to great breweries and restaurants. It’s such a beautiful, quaint town.

This condo was perfect for me and my two adult children for our Telluride ski vacation. The location is as close to ski in-ski out as we need…a 5 minute walk along the riverside path to the Town Chairlift and the ability to ski halfway back on the path at the end of the day, leaving only a 2-3 minute walk. The beds and the queen sleeper sofa were all very comfortable. The gas fireplace was terrific. Nice kitchen, fully equipped. The only negative would be the community jacuzzi which is only “warm” without an ability to raise the temperature to an appropriate range. Definitely would come back and stay here again in the future.

First off, the description of this condo I didn’t find to be accurate. They were vague on the amount of stairs to access the condo and it was extremely hard in my 70+ year old parents, one who just had a knee replacement. Secondly, the communication was slow to respected before we arrived. Never have I had this problem through a VRBO. The sofa is beyond uncomfortable because the cushions slide off and it’s impossible to keep them in place. The bathrooms are dated but at least clean. And lastly, but most importantly, I read a review before booking about not having a screen on the balcony door. The reply from the staff was that there was a work order to get it done. Had I known that this was never fixed I would have never and cannot recommend you rent this place. It was extremely hot and we were unable to keep door open because of bugs. Kinda defeats the pleasure of being in Colorado. All in all this place is a dump.

Great location when accessing Telluride as well as just a short walk from the gondola to the mountain village. Clean comfortable accommodations. Bed sheets maybe a bit scratchy but overall a very nice place.

The unit was comfortable and had everything our family of four needed for a terrific stay in Telluride. The location was perfect, conveniently located in the town so we never had to (or wanted to) drive anywhere, but still situated so it felt private. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

would stay here again
A great condo, good location, has everything we needed. Would have been nice to use the ski locker but it was full. The outside entrance is downstairs and private though, so we were able to store skis and boots outside. We will be back, thanks!

Telluride Trip!
We had a great trip! One of the property reps came after hours to fix our fireplace. Great access to town, gondola, and hiking - the perfect location for our group. Highly recommend via ferrata!!

Riverside deficiencies
Would not choose to stay in this condo again. Disappointed with overall appearance, broken appliances, broken bed, unusable fireplace, wet towels left in bathroom (found when we checked in). Kitchen lacking in towels also. Property management not very receptive to concerns. Overall would no recommend condo.

Nice stay...good location!
This unit was very clean and cozy. The only issue at all was control of water temperature during showers or doing dishes. The water would change from blazing hot to ice cold!! Other than that, all was great. Would stay here again!

Great location; overall good
This would be a 4 star review, but the back patio was disgusting. A dead bird on the deck, and what looked like vomit that sat uncleaned for a week or more. The furniture on the patio was so dirty, you wouldn't want to sit in it. And it looked to me as if the patio wasn't just skipped during a recent cleaning, but that the patio had never been cleaned at all. Spider webs covered every square inch, so along with that and the puke, it was completely unusable.
The condo itself was plenty spacious though, and clean. Only complaint was the patio.
Close walk to the gondola. No AC
