I would book this home again. Lovely cozy home near Buckroe Beach, and other local attractions for all age groups. We stayed Monday through Thursday. The host even had beach accessories, and toys for the kids, plenty of household items. I was even surprised that several online streaming platforms were accessible to use to watch. The neighbors we met were very welcoming and friendly as well.
The only issue we experienced were the unwanted ants. Too many to kill so don’t leave any food or drink cups out.

They literally thought of everything one could possibly need to create a once in a lifetime vacation. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect getaway. Everything was expected as described in the online listing. The washer/dryer on site was sooo convenient albeit a little noisy. The large family room with sectional couch was conducive to fun family board games and relaxing. The kitchen was adequate for seating our family of 6 and equipped to allow us to cook some meals instead of eating out (saving $$). A small quirk to note is that tall people (>6ft) will have to duck a little walking into the bathroom and being under the shower. I quickly adapted to this, but wanted to share with fellow tall folk.
Plenty of outdoor space for yard games or throwing or kicking a ball around, but no shade for other activities. But frankly, we enjoyed the refreshing, cool AC inside anyway.
Reasonably priced and in a location within 45-60 min of VA beach and Williamsburg. Closer access to Hampton and Norfolk provided some fun exploration as well.
The host was super responsive and answered all my questions ahead of our arrival.

Despite a few blips on our arrival day, we were very happy with this place and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place near Grandview. Comfy beds, plenty of towels (for bathing and the beach), and lots of supplies if we ever needed them. We only cooked breakfast in the morning, so not much cooking otherwise since fresh fish awaited. The neighborhood is nicely located to enable lots of discovery of what Hampton and surrounding areas have going for them. We managed to hit all of our goals, revisiting places we knew as a young family stationed in Norfolk. Needless to say, we love how Hampton has grown and changed over the years, and this house enabled us to relax and enjoy.

My family absolutely loved staying at this sweet place for 2.5 weeks. Comfortable and well stocked. Great quiet neighborhood with the most friendly neighbors. We took walks after supper which was always enjoyable. Went to the beach and the weather was perfect. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend to family and friends. We had a wonderful and perfect time staying here. Thank God it was pet friendly! The entire family mentioned how nice the location and upkeep was very comfortable as made us feel at home. Heather was very accommodating as we had church on Sunday!! Thank you again Heather! !! Everything was perfect!!

Excellent rental, comfortable bedrooms, well equipped kitchen with washer and dryer, plenty of towels and blankets, lots of seating in the living room. Beach items on the sunporch for use. Communication was easy and always responsive.

A few of us came to Hampton to see a couple of concerts at the Coliseum. The location was just far enough away from the action to give us the peace and quiet we hoped for. A 10 minute drive brought us right back to the restaurants and excitement and everything we needed. The house had everything we needed. Clean and comfortable.

Had a very nice time at Heather’s property with our family of five. It was comfortable, cozy, and relaxing. The kitchen was well appointed and the washer-dryer units were quite helpful. We’d happily stay here again!

This was a wonderful stay, it’s just a 5 minute drive to the beach. Everything was very clean and beautifully decorated and the property owner was very helpful with any questions we had. I would definitely stay there again.

The house was just like the pictures. Very nice neighborhood, great location. The host was very nice and efficient. She answered all questions within a matter of minutes. The house is about 10 minutes from everything. Very clean nice place for family alot of room. Will definitely stay again.

Location was prime for the things we wanted to do as a family. House was the perfect size for four adults and a toddler. We had mostly everything we needed, great AC during the recent heat wave. Prepared and enjoyed several meals together with great local seafood options nearby as well.

Great place! Very considerate and helpful owners. 45 min drive to VA Beach and 35 to Busch Gardens. There are several other local beaches and activities within 5-14 min such as Buckrow beach, outlook beach, and Frt Monroe!

My family of 5 stayed here to enjoy a few days in the area. Heather was kind and communicative. Our family was very comfortable, and we found the place relaxing. Would highly recommend.

The house was very clean and neat. It was a great location in a safe and quiet neighborhood which really gave me peace of mind since it was me, another mother, and our children on this trip. We stayed here to explore historic Jamestown, Williamsburg and Yorktown which were all just around 30-40 minutes from the house. We also checked out Buckroe Beach which is just a short 10 minute drive. The host was amazing and always available to answer my questions throughout the whole process. Even while we were there she was very responsive in helping us know where the best places to fish were. I would definitely consider staying here again.

House is in a nice location. Quiet street close to Buckroe beach, stores, and restaurants. Exactly as listed. Nice amount of space for family of 4 including 2 teenagers that prefer their own rooms.

We had a great time staying here in this rental. The space was exactly as advertised and was very vlean upon arrival! We stayed with our three kids (9,7, and 5) as well out our 2 year old dog! The location was great and the beach was perfect. The neighborhood was quiet and great for walking the dog!

Absolutely wonderful stay! We are a large family with kids ranging from babies to teens. The house was perfect. Exceptionally clean. Well stocked. Great location. The owner was wonderful with communicating. I honestly can’t say enough good things. We’d never been to the area before, and we’ve discussed making it a regular get-away, and we won’t hesitate to stay in this home again!

We stayed at this property during my granddaughter’s graduation from Hampton University. Heather was an excellent hostess; she was very responsive, thoughtful and communicative. The property was perfect for our family of five adults. It was cozy, clean and had anything you could think of to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. There were plenty of towels, extra linens, utensils, pots and pans, treats for our yorkies, etc. An Alexa in each bedroom kept us well informed about the weather as the graduation was an outside ceremony. We would definitely recommend this property to family and friends.

The house was only 30 minutes from Busch Gardens and Williamsburg which made it a great location. Loved the Nature Preserve close by as well as Buckroe beach. Would definitely stay again!

A cozy home perfect for a relaxing family oriented Christmas get away. Heather provided more kitchen amenities than other rentals we have used, including a selection of baby/toddler utensils and plates! We had a heating issue but Heather was in immediate communication troubleshooting with us and then sending her heating guy same day. She was also very responsive to any other questions we had. Absolutely would recommend and would stay again! Thanks Heather!

We had a great time during our stay in Hampton at Heather's house, and we would definitely recommend staying there! She was very friendly, communicative and helpful, and she made everything so easy and great! The house is located a short drive to a couple of beaches as well as some really great restaurants. It was comfortable and clean and the perfect place to come back to rest after a full day at the beach. It was very kid-friendly, and there were extra beach toys and accessories that were such a nice touch.

This property is excellent for anyone who want a family vacation . It has everything you might need . The owner responded to anything that needed or repair she is excellent communication and a good response . I will go there again if needed another vacation in Virginia. Central air conditioner is fabulous for hot weather to cool down, overall I am happy being there and will recommend anyone there for family vacation etc.

We had a great vacation in Hampton. The host thought of everything from smart TVs with streaming subscriptions, a well equipped kitchen, beach gear, and plenty of linens. Abundant room for our family of 5, but could accommodate more if you want to use futon in living room. Quick drive to Buckroe Beach with free parking, no crowds, and calm water for the kids. Host was extremely responsive to questions leading up and during our stay!

This was a home! So clean and welcoming as we walked in. So many thoughtful touches (beach equipment and towels) comfortable beds and a living room that worked so well to hang out. We were 3adults and a 5 year , 3 year old and a 7 month old

Heather is an excellent host. House was clean and so close to the beach. She also provided beach chairs, a beach umbrella and toys for kids which was great. Would definitely stay again !!!

Amazing full house rental! Charming neighborhood and a short drive to the beach!
Very clean and lots of space! Dogs had a full yard to run around and play fetch and we were at the beach in just a few minutes. The host even allowed us to check in early, which helped save our pups from the heat. Great host, great place, great house!
