Although you’re steps from the sand and nearby attractions, you won’t want to leave the confines of this luxurious home the second you step through the front door. Just pop your car in the two-car garage and walk everywhere - you’re just 0.2 miles to Bayshore Beach and right next to 2nd Street, filled with bars and restaurants.
Sip coffee in the mornings and cocktails in the evening on your expansive rooftop deck, which offers glorious views of Long Beach and those stunning Pacific sunsets. Several seating areas beckon, including comfy couches and a firepit, built-in sofas, and a large patio table, perfect for alfresco dinners prepared on the gas grill. Downstairs, you’ll find even more enchanting outdoor space with an enclosed patio.
The luxury continues inside, in the fully updated, modern space. An open floor plan encourages togetherness, and the chef will love the spacious, well-equipped kitchen, which features a full suite of stainless steel appliances and tons of workspace. Littles will love perching at the kitchen island’s barstools, and the rest of the group can gather in the dining area. Spend evenings inside on the leather sectional, watching TV or posting the day’s pics to social media courtesy of the free high-speed WiFi.
The kids will love the shuffleboard game upstairs, and you’ll love the expansive main suite at bedtime, which features a private balcony, TV, seating area, and window front desk for any lingering remote work. With an unbeatable location and gorgeous finishes outside and in, the only question is how many extra days to book for your next SoCal vacation. This home is also only about 20 miles from Disneyland.

Beautiful, clean home with all modern amenities. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfy, locations was perfect. Primary bedroom was an oasis. We used it as a home base for visits to Disney, Warner Brothers studios, and other tourist attractions. Town felt safe and had a nice beachy feel. Lots of stairs in the house, so keep that in mind if you have trouble managing those. Wonderful experience.

GRADE A - Location
8.0 / 10.0
We enjoyed our stay. You should let people know about the limited parking if you have a large SUV that will not fit in the garage. I am a senior and I just had knee replacement surgery so the stairs were difficult. It would be helpful to stress the number of stairs that you have climb. We loved the house and my family said that they would love to stay there again. They liked all the shopping and great restaurants.
Thanks for making our stay Wonderful!🤗

The house is in a great location with a lot of food places/bars close by. Some of the reviews mentioned that it can be loud. We didn’t experience that at all. The rooftop deck is spectacular! The only downside, and I was disappointed, the fire pit did not have any propane and there was only one tank. We were not able to enjoy that aspect as it got a little chilly at night. There are a lot stairs in the house which were not a problem for us, but I can see if someone has a difficult time with stairs, do not rent this house. I would love to stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It is a beautiful home. There is also a good size garage, so parking is no problem. Lots of amenities. A great place for a big group, as well, although there were only two of us on this trip. A great place to stay!

The place is really nice. Great size. Great location for access to food and both the bay shore beach and the ocean beach. The roof is special - a truly great space to relax. There is basically everything you need and a lot you didn’t realize you needed - beach chairs, a cooler, a fire pit and cornhole set on roof, the clicker for the garage door. Those little touches were really appreciated. The main floor has plenty of room and is lovely - someone who cared set this place up. Most of the doors and windows are new and easy to open and latch. The heating and thermostat works well.
The nit picks: they only provided shampoo in lieu of hand soap in the bathrooms. It works but it’s kind of a cheap touch. The house is a little awkward in that the loft space doesn’t have a door and there are two flights of stairs up to the second level (I think it was a duplex at one time). All of the showers are on the smaller side so if you’re north of 6’1” you’ll be ducking. There are about a million light switches to figure out. They’re Labeled which is nice. But still - if you have kids enjoy futzing with those. Check in at 4 is a little late; check out at 10 is a little early. And the place is about 8” from a public parking lot which provides endless noise and random music at all hours. Good windows help this. But not if you’re on the roof.
Overall this place is great. I’d happily stay here again when visiting Long Beach family. Every place has nit picks. Bring some hand soap!

This charming home is nestled in a classic Long Beach. Southern california neighborhood. Minutes from shopping restaurants in the beach, we had a fantastic time!

Fantastic location. Great walking experience to the beach, restaurants and shopping. We stayed here to take our son to Disneyland for his 13th birthday. Amazing vacation with our family. All beds were comfy and the rooftop loft was beautiful, especially at night. We will come here again

Had to care for my mother for two weeks and this house was the perfect location.

This space was fine for our short stay. The weekend late night noise was expected as the house backs to a parking area but the location was perfect as a friend owns a business a few blocks down 2nd st. and it was a few blocks from where I use to live. The garage was an added bonus as street parking nearby can be difficult to find. It was clean, spacious and the beds were comfy. I'd recommend but do have to mention the issues we ran into. Although the house was clean there must have been a hatching of flies that occurred prior to our arrival in the living area downstairs. There were far too many to have just gotten inside from an open door. We avoided that area and didn't use the kitchen. We were gone most evenings anyway. Also, just as others had pointed out the rooftop furniture cushions are in dire need of replacement. Due to the misty mornings and condensation, they are mildew ridden and dirty. The firepit table was left with an empty tank with the full one set aside. It became obvious that the full tank was left there because they couldn't remove the empty one. We tried and it was too tight and hard to get a hold of it as the opening to the table was opposite the side the hose attached making it even more awkward. So just a feature we were unable to use. Lastly as others stated, the water upstairs had to run a while before it was hot, It took longer in the middle bedroom so my daughter used the shower in the front bedroom, where I stayed. We never tried the back bathroom.

We had a fabulous time. The house was spacious and the rooftop access was incredible. Great place to have dinner and late night chats around the fireplace. Perfect stay for our family!

Loved the location of this home, being only steps away from 2nd Street and all the wonderful stores and restaurants. We loved how spacious the house was, with plenty of bathrooms and 3 king sized beds.

This house was perfect for our extended family of 7. The entire place was well equipped, comfortable and steps away from tons of restaurants and shopping as well as the lagoon and ocean. Would definitely recommend!

Nice location; close to the bay and beach, although the beach was heavily covered in trash. Nice layout for a family but a bit beach-worn. Nicely appointed. Very close to 2nd Street which can get pretty noisy on weekend nights so had to keep the windows closed to sleep those nights. The 2 car garage was great!

The house had the basics needed for a family vacation. The kitchen was spacious and was stocked well with dishes, glasses and cookware. Needed more kitchen towels (only 2 provided) and cutting boards (one small one and one made from the countertop material provided).
The beds were comfortable. The third bedroom with the loft is not private and is open to the kitchen/hall area. The pillows were very thick and many of us woke up with sore necks. A variety of pillow sizes would have been appreciated.
The location was excellent with a short walk to the beach and restaurants. The rooftop deck was a nice perk but the furniture was dirty and the cushions need an upgrade. The hot tub appeared clean and worked well.
My biggest issue was the cleanliness of the house and support from Vacasa. The 2nd bedroom's bathroom had a sink pipe that was disconnected. When we used the sink, water spilled into the cabinet all over the floor. I immediately contacted Vacasa the first day of my stay and was informed that they would send a request for maintenance. I reached out the next day and the support person said that a maintenance ticket was created by never opened so they supposedly contacted maintenance again. It took an angry call on the third day for maintenance to come and patch (not fix) the sink.
Similarly, I noted that the floors and rugs of the house were filthy. My children's socks were black by the end of the first night. I used wet wipes to check the floors and they were extremely dirty. There was no way that housekeeping had mopped or cleaned the floors before our arrival. I looked for a mop but there wasn't one available on premises.
I contacted Vacasa on the morning of the 2nd day to report the issue, followed up on the third day and was finally contacted by housekeeping on the 4th day.
I also took pictures of mildew in the showers/sinks, dirty throw pillows, and the rugs. Unfortunately, you're not able to load pictures for public review.
In my last call to Vacasa support, I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told someone would contact me about my experience. This did not happen. Needless to say, I should not have been spending my vacation time reaching out to Vacasa support. I also should not have to pay a cleaning fee for a "luxury" house that was not clean.
This was my first time renting a home from Vacasa. I would think twice about doing it again.

We rented a beautiful home in Long Beach, California. Upon checking in it was just one thing after another. The keypad for the garage door wouldn’t work. The dishwasher never worked the entire seven days we were there. They claimed they couldn’t find the keys that I left in a specific bedroom, the toilet was running, and they used a paperclip to rig the toilet, LED lights on microwave & stove barely visible & more! BIG on apologizes, failure on actions!!

Always love Belmont Shores and this property provided the best in amenities and location to both the beaches & 2nd Street. The home was extremely spacious and accommodations were excellent for 6 adults/2 children. The 1 time we needed some info., Vacasa reps were very responsive. We'll definitely return when the opportunity arises.

An Amazing Home!
This is a beautiful home with three bedrooms and beautiful kitchen and a jacuzzi to relax you after a day walking the beach which is blocks away. Great area to hosts guest on the roof and this place was stocked with everything you could imagine to make you feel at home. It is also steps away from 2nd street where you have blocks of restaurants to choose from. A 10+ and worth every dollar.
