Check in and check out are simple and overall, the property was decent and clean but somewhat run down. Property description talks about recent upgrades but I didn't notice any. There are areas where the owners need to make repairs. The bench furniture on the upstairs patio is broken; the cushions on the chairs on the front porch need to be replaced. There were 2 blue lawn chairs in the upstairs closet that we tried to use so all of us had a decent patio seat but one was broken. The magnetic close screen door on the master bedroom does not work properly at the bottom so it does not keep bugs out. The front door needs a screen door so that it can be left open to help with ventilation. Ceiling fan in other upstairs bedroom does not generate much air circulation. It was very cool the days we stayed in Red River which made the lack of ventilation tolerable but had it been hotter by a few degrees, we would have been miserable. If you tend to be hot natured and are staying in the summer, bring fans. They will also help with noise of busy highway at the back, neighbors, and trash collectors. Also, we had difficulty with the Hopper TV situation. Some instructions would have been helpful.

As advertised, clean and well furnished. Checkin and out is easy. There’s a laundromat next door. We will use this location each time we visit.

The view from front porch was amazing. Stepped outside to a flowing river with friendly ducks and a view of a beautiful mountainside. We were fortunate to see snow fall one morning and it couldn’t have gotten any better than that. Comfortable stay in a cute cabin that had all we needed. Nice walk to town. What a great place to stay!

My husband and I stayed a week and enjoyed the location on the River. Your patio and balcony open onto the river where you can fish off the porch. The river is stocked with fish and folks were catching their limits daily. This cabin is very spacious and could accommodate 3 couples. The bed was very comfortable. If you plan on working, the WiFi is pretty weak, so I wouldn’t recommend working during your stay. The chairs on the porch could use some cushions, but other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We would stay again.

Nice place but the top floor sink didn’t drain very well and the bottom floor shower is super tiny. Not quite enough room in the bedrooms to open luggage, at least downstairs, anyway. But very clean and stocked, good location, and manager very helpful and friendly.

Perfect for a summer vacation on the river. All kitchen needs were available and there were plenty of towels. The downstairs shower stall is very narrow. Beds were very comfortable

Nice cabin to spend a week at. We were 3 adults, a 2 year old and 2 small dogs with visiting family who camped up the road. It got pretty cramped with all of us inside at dinner time but overall it was just what we needed. Nice to be able to run back to the cabin to make lunches while the rest of the family continued to fish at the pond.

As we arrived at the cabin for our Spring Break 2023 ski trip, we were excited to see the inside of the cabin. Upon entering, we observed a small, tidy living room. I did notice that the stove and oven in the kitchen are a bit older and need an upgrade, but everything was well taken of, regardless.
The cabin features a small bedroom and bathroom with a shower stall on the first floor. It was just perfect for our 17-year-old. It allowed for her own bathroom and privacy from her brother. LOL
Upstairs features two bedrooms and a full-sized bathroom. My wife and I slept in one bedroom and my 13-year-old son slept in the other bedroom. It was the perfect size for us. The two bedrooms also included their own tv’s and DISH hoppers.
We enjoyed watching tv every evening in the living room on the included DISH network satellite dish. It would have been a nice touch to have an ottoman to put our feet on, but it could be that we are just spoiled to that at home. We cooked and ate in the small kitchen and utilized the fridge to keep our groceries cool. All the included pans and utensils came in very handy.
The front porch is a great place to sit and watch the river, which runs right in front of the cabin. We did not utilize it that much since it was quite cold and snowy during our visit. But I believe it would be a remarkable place to sit in warmer weather. Great views!
The one thing I believe that would make this cabin much better is to add a washer and dryer. The locked closet in the upstairs bedroom may have included one, but it was off limits to us. I say it may have included this because on the outside of the cabin, there is a dryer vent in this area.
All in all, we would absolutely stay here again. We felt very comfortable in the cabin, and we enjoyed our time here very much. We recommend giving this cabin a try! Especially if you have a small family like ours. You will make great memories in Red River. It is a great little ski community!

The family and I went for a hunting trip but needed a place to stay due to there being two infant children. The stay was amazing. The cabin was clean and staff was able to accommodate a late check out with no issue. Price was also very reasonable. May rent again due to the great experience.

A girl’s escape
My brother and his wife gifted my sister and I a week in Red River in this quaint comfortable cabin. We invited our 2 family teachers then the 4 of us spent a relaxing fun time site seeing, shopping, reading, fishing, and enjoying the cool fresh mountain air. Wonderful time. The river sounds were very soothing!! This Cabin is close to town yet quietly sitting with views of nature’s beauty and local homesteads.

Gorgeous view!
We had a lovely time staying here. The view of the river right outside our door was incredible. We also felt that they took COVID seriously as we did the same. Plus we were in the perfect spot for amazing hiking!

Peaceful but needs some attention
Overall the property was peaceful but several lights were out, and the screen door to the balcony was also broken.

Needs updating
The property while clean needs considerable updating. The couch was uncomfortable, couldn't watch the television without a backache. Inadequate lighting for tasks like reading. The outdoor light was broken and outdoor furniture was quite old. At night the route to the car was pitch black, fortunately we brought a flashlight. We were asked to wash dishes before leaving but there was no sponge or cloth provided for this.

Enjoyable getaway with a babbling brook!
The cabin was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen has all the utensils we needed and the gas grill worked well. The town of Red River has everything you may need. The grocery store had decent prices and there were several restaurants in town. We enjoyed a horse ride and the Jeep ride was fun too! My son-in-law was able to fish right off of the walkway in front of the cabin and caught several trout. He was able to rent the fishing pool in town. Overall, a perfect trip. The cabin is off the main road, but in the evening traffic slows down to almost nothing. Noise was not a concern in the evening when we sat on the porch or played cards in the kitchen. My husband and I just heard the traffic in the morning with the 2 bedrooms that face towards the road. (This may just have been more noticeable for us as we live in the country with no traffic).
