Buddy’s cabin was perfect, it was very clean, smelled clean, nicely decorated, beds were all comfortable, the kitchen was the most well stocked kitchen from any place I’ve ever stayed. We loved both sitting areas, but the screen porch overlooking the creek was my favorite spot, especially at night listening to the creek and singing frogs. The creek was very easy to walk down to, our grandson (8) and lab Lola LOVED spending time in the creek. Overall, everything was perfect and we will definitely stay again. I’m including this last part to praise our hosts Erin and Jason and to speak of how wonderful and helpful they both were. On our 3rd night there, a severe storm came through and knocked out the power and wifi. I was able to text Erin to let her know. She assured me she would report it immediately. She told me where to find flashlights and where to find a large bucket in the garage that we could get water from the creek for flushing. The next afternoon we were able to drive into town for a cell signal to call Erin. She said much of Ellijay was without power, and there was no time line for it to be restored and that Jason was bringing a generator to us. The 4th night we had ac and lights, but by morning we still had no hot water and the generator was struggling to work as it should have. We did decide to check out, but that was of no fault of Erin and Jason. I’m only writing about what happened to show praise to Erin and Jason and what truly awesome, caring hosts they are.

Kitchen was very well stocked. Home was clean and comfortable. Appreciated the pack n’ play, child seat and baby gates for the stairs as our one year old granddaughter was with us. Less for us to pack along. Our grandson spent many hours in the creek living his best life. Owners were very responsive. On your drive to the cabin, stop at the neighborhood stands for firewood, eggs and blueberries. Enjoyed the nearby hiking trails and wildlife by day and the fire pit in the evening.

This place did not disappoint and is our favorite location by far. We hiked, biked and played in the creek. Best vacation in awhile.

We really enjoyed our stay, very peaceful on the screened in porch hearing the sound of the babbling creek. The house was so comfortable and The host/owners were fantastic. I would highly recommend staying in this peaceful home. very convenient to everything in the GA mountain's.

Beautiful house. Perfect location. Nice and quiet, by a creek, loved it.
Well, definitely go back.
House was all that and plus more.
Beautiful furnishings. Great patio. Warm hot tub, beautiful creek. With beautiful sound of running water.
Highly recommend, except for the weekend we might wanted. Thank you so much Erin and Jason.

We came to this cabin for a long weekend and it was beautiful! Very peaceful location, well appointed, and the sound of the creek was relaxing!

My family certainly enjoyed the creek and cabin during our stay.

We wanted to get away from it all and enjoy some family time. Grocery shopped in town, made most of our meals from the cabin, and each day picked a nearby hike or just hung out on the property. Literally spent an entire day with the kids playing in the stream, backyard area, woods, and the hot tub. This cabin has everything you need to reconnect as a family!

Great place tucked away but close enough to downtown Ellijay and anything else you need. Cabin is comfortable with a great kitchen to cook and hang out in. This place is perfect for a family but not optimal for an adult getaway as other cabins are close in proximity offering limited privacy. The pool table was unusable during our stay which was a bummer as it was one of the perks we loved about this place. Overall a great place to stay in Ellijay!

Overall the house was fine. It was in good shape and comfortable. The creek was nice and the kids had fun. The beds were comfortable and everything looked like it was well taken care of for the most part. We spent most of our time in town, however.
We didnt realize it was a 25 minute drive from town. Great for some but we wanted to be closer. There was no xbox, the upstairs bedroom tv didnt work, the dishawahser had dirty dishes upon arrival, and the view of the neighbors junky yard wasn't great. The house smelled strongly of smoke from the fireplace. Most of this is only a minor annoyance and only mentioned because it was unexpected.

We were looking to get away for a few days and enjoy nature and some peace and quiet from life. This cabin was perfect for that. I liked the seclusion, lthough yes, there are a couple of homes that are still pretty close, it was still very quiet and peaceful. The creek was one of my favorite parts, getting to listen to the water flowing all day. The firepit was perfect for day and night (in February) and the hot tub was nice to have as well. The house was clean and comfortable with a cozy cabin feel to it. It was a nice stay.

This was a great cabin! We enjoyed our stay very much! Very private and secluded, nicely setup and very cozy. Highly recommended!

Everything was perfect we didn't need anything. We are looking forward to do this every year because of a good experience we enjoy. Thank you so very much keep up a good work!

Loved the property and house! Kids spent hours exploring and playing in the creek and woods. Everything was super clean and we could not have been more cozy! The cabin was even decorated for Christmas with stockings and a tree which was such a small detail but made the stay that much more enjoyable for my kids.
The hosts answered my few questions almost immediately and were very helpful throughout. We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend!

We had a great time. The cabin is cozy and has everything you would need

Cabin was nice and we enjoyed our stay.

The cabin was warm and welcoming and we had a wonderful stay. The patio area with the fire pit and swing was our favorite place to sit in the morning and again in the evening. We were also thrilled to find hiking so close to the cabin. I highly recommend.

Enjoyed listening to the creek. Very relaxing!! Only thing we didn’t like was there are 3 houses very close. That is not mentioned anywhere and should be. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We were looking for a nice cabin to enjoy our stay in Ellijay and found it! It was like camping in the woods only better! The kitchen was well stocked, cabin was nice and clean, plenty of space. It had a very warm cozy feel and we enjoyed our morning coffee on the screened in porch while listening to the roosters. Check in and out directions were very detailed and easy to follow. Just a short drive in to town and the apple orchards. Would highly recommend to any family going to the area.

Awesome location for us because we love the mountains. We are jeep owners so we ride these areas alot. Our stay was very peaceful and it was a pleasure to communicate with the owners.

Great location with lots amenities. We had a great time enjoying the cabin and location.

This cabin was a great opportunity to get away for the weekend. It was well equipped and perfectly located for us to come and enjoy the out of doors.
4.8
It is a quiet stay and convenient to both Blue Ridge and Ellijay. There are other cabins rather close, like you can see each other from the porch. But it’s not bad. We were able to enjoy the creek and yard and outdoor amenities privately.

This was a nice cabin, approximately 20 mins from downtown Ellijay. This cabin has 2 other neighboring cabins nearby. One neighbors cabin is still under construction. Our son loved playing in creek catching crayfish and fish. The cabin was clean, well equipped, including the kitchen. The only complaint we had during our stay was the issue with a snake that was living around and under the hot tub. I alerted Jason who took care of a pest control company to come out and treat the area. I would recommend some work be done to properly enclose the back of the hot tub. Also the hot tub had an over abundance of chlorine in it and it discolored our swimming suits.

We absolutely loved this cabin! It was so cozy and relaxing with more than enough amenities for 2 people. The cabin was super clean and everything was as advertised. It was located only 10-15 minutes from Downtown Ellijay which has become one of our favorite little towns!

We really enjoyed our short trip to Ellijay. This property is so relaxing. The kids enjoyed playing in the creek, roasting s’mores, playing games that were provided. The kitchen is well stocked. Our dogs enjoyed roaming around the woods while I walked. Only complaint we had was the cabin straight across is lived in year round so they didn’t seem happy renters were there. Their dog (an Australian cattle dog) did come across the creek and was aggressive towards our kids while they were riding their ride on toys (battery operated so don’t think the dog liked the sound). My husband was out there and when he yelled the dog did back off and returned when the owner called. We definitely plan to come stay again!

What a fabulous experience! Buddy’s Bungalow was better that my expectations. Everything from
the communication before, during and after the stay, the cabin is beautiful with so many extra touches that you rarely find in other properties.
We had a sisters girls trip and didn’t even leave the cabin, so super comfortable and beautiful space on the outside area, spa tub, fire pit, swing and hammock. Everything you need is here! Super Clean, spacious, felt like home but with extra special touches. Highly recommend this cabin for any type of trip. Erin and Jason are excellent hosts!

Fantastic cabin! Perfect setting for our first girls wine trip. Well stocked, very clean, spacious and amazing outdoor space. On the river with a screened in porch, hot tub, and fire pit. Highly recommend!

The house is gorgeous and it has everything you need from grill utensils to foil, ziplock bags and more. Everything was great regarding location, comfortable beds and great area to enjoy time with family. The only drawback is that there is construction right across from the stream where the cabin is located so it was a little noisy. Also, when you are sitting in the backyard, the beautiful scenery is disturbed by the construction site. I wish I knew that before though.

Absolutely loved our stay - such a cozy property with plenty of room for the six of us. Made our Christmas very special.
4.8
From coffee on the patio, to looking for crawdads in the creek, to marshmallows roasting in the fire pit it really was the perfect get away. And super close to downtown elijay even though we had no reason to go to town. And the owners are great!!! Our elves followed the girls to the cabin and showed up the day after thanksgiving. It was really nice. We left a day early because I was sick so I was bummed about that but we might rent again in February!
4.8
Upon checking the weather report prior to our stay, we were disappointed to see that the forecast was 100% rain each day! Our disappointment was short lived once we saw the beautiful cabin that we would be spending time in with our dearest friends! The undesirable weather forced us to sit back, relax and just enjoy our time together as our lives are normally fast paced. We all agreed that our time together could not have been more perfect.
We immediately felt comfortable there. It was obvious that the cleaning crew takes pride in what they do as it was sparkling clean and smelled nice - they also left cute extras. The cabin is wonderfully decorated and well stocked. The owners pay great attention to details - there wasn't anything that we needed that we didn't find there. Extra comfy beds/pillows too!
We are looking forward to another trip here!

This was by far the most amazing place I’ve ever stayed! Absolutely perfect cabin and location!!!
4.8
The cabin is nice but a few things did not work . The dryer stopped working and the owner wanted me to sit around and wait on a repairman. That’s the first strike against them. The whirlpool would not heat up to a decent temperature. We looked at the manual that was left and googled how to fix it to no avail. I didn’t want to reach out to the owner because of the dryer debacle. There were also ants in the kitchen. They wanted me to spray the ant spray while we were there. What was the $240 host fee for? You can’t pay someone to take care of these things? We were slightly disappointed with this vrbo.
4.8
Truly enjoyed everything about this property with the exception of the unpleasant odor from the downstairs bathroom. The owner will want to check that the septic system is okay. No problem with kitchen or upstairs bath, but the downstairs was permeated with that odor. We kept the bathroom door shut, ran the fan, and sprayed the Lysol frequently. Otherwise, great place!
4.8
The cabin is perfect! We loved to sit out on the porch and be so close to nature. Our scotties loved all of the sights and sounds of the creek.
4.8
The house and surrounding area are gorgeous. Everything is new and clean and easy to use. There are instructions everywhere for everything! This is probably the most well organized vacation home I've ever stayed in. We WILL be back!
4.8
This was an excellent property and very well stocked kitchen. Very clean.
4.8
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Peaceful surroundings with amazing creek in the back.
4.8
We loved it- the screened porch was awesome since the bugs were out. The creek wasn’t as deep as it looked online until it rained for a few hours so the dogs couldn’t swim but they still had fun! The house was very clean as well as dishes, etc ( we’ve actually started taking our own pots and pans as well as knives but did not this time ( no need) everything was good quality and not in bad shape like some of the places we’ve rented. I recommend this beautiful house!
