This pet friendly secluded cozy cabin with mountain views sits at the top of the hill and is centrally situated to many attractions (.7 miles to US 23) sleeps 8. Nearby attractions include the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Blue Ridge Parkway, Nantahala National Forest, Wayah Bald Lookout Tower, Western Carolina University, Great Smoky Mountains Railroad, Cherokee Resort & Casino, Bryson City, Sylva, Sapphire Valley, Highlands, Cashiers. Nearby you will find water sports, fishing, skiing, waterfalls, breweries, and superb hiking trails. The cabin offers a fireplace, firepit, fiber internet, smart TVs, & gas grill! Relax and watch the sun rise over the mountains, then after a day of fishing, hiking, river rafting or motorcycle riding, enjoy beautiful foliage around the outdoor firepit or stargazing from the deck. There are also nice fine dining options in Highlands and Cashiers. Cherokee is 35 miles away, Great Smoky Mountains Railroad is 35 mins away, Cataloochee Ski resort is 55 miles. Western Carolina University in Cullowhee is only 30 minutes away. The cabin is 77 miles from Ashville Regional Airport and 130 miles from Atlanta Airport.

The property was as promised. Worked well for us with easy access to everything in Franklin that we needed. The pet friendly part was especially important to us. Very satisfied!!!

The house was adequate for our stay. Kitchen was decent with plenty of utensils. Nice washer/dryer though we didn't use it. Plenty of hot water. AC/Heat worked well. The bed was not like home but also ok. Bring your own pillow. So, 4 stars for the house. 2 stars for the neighborhood and description. Only upon final check in were we given the instructions which included 'do not stop on the driveway and use low gear'. It's STEEP.! I couldn't see the pavement over the hood of my truck; I had to follow the 3 ft tall reflectors. And you have to do a very tight 3 point turn or reverse down. I researched and selected the property because we could bring our dog. But we couldn't walk her. There's a large black dog, fenced in, below which barked loudly whenever we were on the porch. There was another large black and white dog below which was loose. It also barked and patrolled the road. So we could only exercise our dog in the back, on a leash. So we paid extra to bring a pet and couldn't walk her despite some great weather.

All 3 of us thoroughly enjoyed our week! The cabin is very clean and accommodations were as described. Sleeping was great, area cool & quiet. We brought our groceries and had good meals right there, grilling most evenings. Hiking trails involved easy driving to trailheads and were just gorgeous. Autumn colors were just beginning to show!

It was an amazing place to stay for the couple of nights we were there. We're so in love with it that we're looking into buying a house somewhere in North Carolina in the mountains for the summer time. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay there .

We did have to purchase trash bags and toilet paper. The lightbulb in the master bedroom overhead light was out, and the toilet seat was broken. The shower head would not hang up on the fixture. A couple of end tables and lamps would be great in the living room. We did have a wonderful time and thank you for your hospitality and patience!!!!

Host was very responsive to my questions. House was lovely and great for my 85 year old mother. There was a ramp to get into the house and main floor contained everything she needed. Upstairs bedrooms were fine for me and my daughter. Views were amazing. Near town, cinema, groceries, etc. The kitchen did not have measuring spoons or cups, or cookie sheet so bring those if you need them. Otherwise a wonderful place to stay. Beds were comfortable.

My wife, kids and I enjoyed staying in this quiet, nice and pet friendly cabin. We had ample space for everyone and everything is kept updated. Easy access to everything near by. We couldn’t have asked for more enjoyable stay. We definitely will request to stay here again.

The only suggestion I would give Is to include “trash “ in the “cleaning “ fee. As if you don’t take your waste to the landfill (which is about 15-20 drive -one way- ), they will charge you an additional fee. Other than that. I would visit either way. Nice area, nice place

My husband and I and my father-in-law and brother-in-law enjoyed our stay! The house is nice and clean. The location was very convenient for us since we were here for the gem shows in Franklin. We had an 8-9 minute drive to the downtown area. We felt very safe in this house. We enjoyed the scenery and the quietness of the house. Thank you!

This property was perfect for visiting local family. We'd been looking for something in this area and this new listing met our needs. I was immaculately clean and just as described. Owners left thoughtful touches like a pack of snacks and a few washing machine pods!
