My private room was awesome! I had my own shower, bathroom and patio, all detached from my room which had A/C. I was livin in luxury. The store had snacks and water and Low Tide restaurant was next door and had great food. And Pupuseria Geisey was sooo good and cheap too!
Friendly staff with somebody always available to help. And a good place to meet other travelers too.
Quick walk to the break and it's a great wave. I stayed there and surfed this spot the whole week!
One dog barked at night but I went outside and said "hey!" and it wasn't a problem again.

few metres from beach, good wifi and aircon, communal kitchen. lovely and helpful staff
pretty basic for the price but that seemed to be everywhere in el zonte

Peaceful place with friendly staff. Secure parking. Loved the healthy food at AWILDA which is unaffiliated but on the property.
No hot water, but that’s pretty typical here. No big deal.

I honestly had the worst stay there. I arrived on a Monday and made sure to contact the person in charge in advance about surfing lessons to be told they will be arranged once I arrive. The host didn’t show up until 2 days after I arrived. The cleaners were friendly, but speak no Spanish at all. The rest of the guest were extremely unsocial and barely said hi. In the end I had to organize everything myself, never got a introduction to the property.
In my room the toilet was broken and it needed almost 2 days to be repaired. I never got offered another room during that time. They also entered my room without my permission/knowledge to exchange a mirror in the bathroom.
I paid around 100$ per night with Taxes, I would expect more for that price.

Simple but nice air conditioned rooms. Balcony was nice to relax on with the hammock. Having the tienda attached for last minute beers or snacks was very convenient.

Loved the proximity of the hotel to the beach. Staff was amazing. Loved the little shopping mart located next to the hotel. Space property. Highly recommend.
Would have loved for the property to have at least a small plunge pool but that wasn’t a deal breaker because I was often at the beach.

Actually my favorite "personal" room in all my Central American travels. There is an attached store that is fantastic. Last, and certainly not least, an attached Cafe run by a culinary artist, with an absolutely amazing menu. Oh, and possibly the sweetest little dog you'll ever meet lives there.

I liked the look, location and staff. the room had its own bathroom, AC and internet. simple but comfortable.
the only thing I would change is the mattress. it was to thin and dented where you slept.

Location is pretty good if you want to spend your time in El Zonte. It's close to many restaurants and surfing instructors in that area.
No hot shower basically, and the room floor was a little bit oily. It could be cleaner and more comfortable for the price paid.

The location is great and really close to the beach. At this time of the year, there weren't too many tourist so it was a bit secluded and calm at the beach. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need to cook. There's even ample fridge space and they are new and really clean. The two girls (Dutch & Canadian) are friendly and will help you if you have any problems with the reception or Spanish. Not so clear who manages the place and who you need to go to if you have a question or problem. A good start would be with them.
For starters the receptionist (with the small child) was not very welcoming and it seemed as if she didn't even work there. She should not be greeting guests and maybe she should take the maid's job. The maid was extremely professional and friendly. They are working on the street right outside of the hotel so starting at about 7am it's impossible to sleep.
