Very classy place with lots of charm located close to the college. My only gripe(which has nothing to do with the property or host) is that our trip was cut short due to a hurricane and after purchasing the travel insurance still am having difficulty with the claim process. Once again the property and host were absolutely wonderful

Great location, super quiet neighborhood. Bathrooms need a little work but décor was warm and welcoming. It was just right for our needs and very reasonably priced!

We were in town for our daughter’s wedding, and this house was the perfect central location for our stay. VERY clean!! Had everything we needed, comfortable beds, and felt like “home” every time we came back into the house. Perfect stay!!

We really loved the house and the neighborhood, both of which were great. However, there is one thing that you should know if you need all 3 bedrooms: the third bedroom is across the house and down a couple of steep steps from the bathroom(s) - a bit tricky in the middle of the night for old people who have to get up multiple times every night. But it didn't stop us from enjoying the house for an entire week. It's really ideal for two couples, there just happened to be 6 of us. Otherwise it's a total "thumbs up".

This is a charming home in a very nice location. Our group of 5 enjoyed cooking meals in a nice kitchen, gathering at a large table and lounging both inside and outside. Bedrooms were comfortable for us (2 couples and one other adult). We always appreciate when photos accurately show the property. We would not hesitate to stay again.

We had a really great time staying here. It gave us a chance to stay in a different neighborhood in our hometown when visiting. This place is comfortable and has all of the supplies and amenities one needs.

Went to a concert and the Cajun Dome. House was within walking distance. It was very clean and everything was just as described. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Jay was an incredible host as we moved our daughter and granddaughter from Alabama to Texas. We had to make last minute arrangements as our SIL is in the Air Force and had been down in Texas since the summer. Our daughter was waiting for an opening at a daycare to be able to join him. Jay's beautiful home was a halfway point for us to stop and rest after a long day of traveling with a 2 year old. The pictures don't do the house justice, it is incredible and so homey. Jay was extremely responsive when we reached out, too early as it ended up, on connecting the TV. Great host, thanks for sharing your home! I'm sure we'll be back as we travel to see them.

This property was as described and we loved the home. It really felt very comfortable and we enjoyed the decor. It was an older home that has lots of wonderful character and space. It felt bigger than what it was and we each had our own personal space. We will differentially stay here again.
