Absolutely perfect location. Easy to walk all around downtown and also a quick walk to The Cliffs. Derek was a great host. Condo was incredibly clean and tons of natural sunlight. All bedrooms were very spacious, along with the bathrooms. 10/10

Lookout Loft is a fantastic location. Derek is very responsive. We had no issues during our stay. Park your car in the included parking garage and leave it, we walked everywhere! Would absolutely stay here again.

Our extended family stayed at this property while visiting Newport over the 4th of July weekend for a family wedding. Derek the host was great! Wonderful communication and very responsive. The condo was just as described...bright, spacious, and very clean. The location is in the heart of everything and right on Thames St. You can walk out the door to numerous restaurants, shops, and bars. Within walking distance to most major attractions. The only downside to this unit is that it is in the heart of everything and could be very loud, especially as bars are closing late at night. This was a busy holiday weekend, but every night around 1 to 2am, we literally felt like we were in the bar with patrons, and this was from all 3 bedrooms in the condo. If you are there for the bar scene or plan on late nights, I would not hesitate. But if you value sleep, consider the noise possibility before booking.

My family and I were there for my son’s graduation from OCS. The location was fantastic. The place was spotless and had everything we needed-towels, soap, all paper products, kitchen utensils, etc. Communication was excellent!! The parking spot(s) were great that they were so close. Our only downside was the noise at night. There is a hotel behind this place(people going back to rooms late) as well as an open air bar on the water that people are coming and going to at all hours. He provides sounds machines but those didn’t help us unfortunately. Also, I’d recommend blackout curtains-the curtains are pretty but not functional. And these 2 cons are why the overall is a 4. It’d be a 5 if I was coming in at 1-2am.

The loft is in a great location for easy access to many Newport activities. We were able to walk to restaurants and our America's Cup yacht charter. And other activities we did were a short 20 minute, or less, drive. The loft itself is nicely decorated and appointed and was very clean. We appreciated having designated off street parking as well. And Derek was responsive and very pleasant to work with. The only potential drawback to be aware of is the location is very, very busy. Trucks, cars, motorcycles, lots of people all right outside the front windows. Not so bad during the day, but we found it very difficult to sleep. The activity goes on well into the night and then picks up again at 6:00 a.m. If you are used to an urban environment, then it will be no problem. But if you need quiet to sleep (and white noise does little to block out the sound) you will want to take this into consideration.

Beautiful condo in a great location. Very clean and bright - had everything we needed. Dedicated parking spaces across the street (which is a big deal in Newport). Located in the middle of town with a short walk to the harbor and tons of bars and restaurants. Would definitely stay there again!

60ish adults with adult son and his wife thoroughly enjoyed the condo, location, and amenities. The parking garage spots across the street were the added bonus! The place is huge and you’re right in the middle of town for easy walking to the harbor, shopping, museums, and top-notch restaurants.

Loved that it was in the heart of things, very well appointed, roomy, comfortable, and designated parking is a huge benefit. We were there over a holiday weekend (our mistake). The pizza place across the street is an after bar hangout so from midnight-2am it is extremely loud and rowdy. The host provides a white noise machine but it didn’t help us. We would def stay here again but not around a holiday that attracts young adults and motorcycles.

The loft is right in the heart of downtown, so it’s easy to walk everywhere you would want to go. They also have nearby parking which made it easy to get in/out when we preferred to take the car. The only downside of being right downtown is it can be noisy at night. The loft was very clean, spacious and well organized. The layout was great for our family where we had separate bedrooms and bathrooms, but lots of common space in the open kitchen/dining/living room area where we could all hang out together. The host was very responsive as well in answering our questions.

This property was absolutely perfect for our 4 night stay in Newport. The condo was very clean and exactly how it was pictured/described. We had two couples and a 15month old and all had plenty of space! Very centrally located with easy access to everything you need - restaurants, shops, bars, etc. including a delicious pizza shop right across the street and coffee shop downstairs. Parking was easy and close, which was a bonus on a busy street. The only thing I’d note for future visitors is that the noise can get a little loud in the evenings as it’s a busy area, but that didn’t bother us at all. Loved it and would highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay at this loft in the heart of Newport! The condo was not only beautifully decorated, but right in the center of the downtown area. We were able to park in the designated parking spots and everything we needed was within walking distance. The host, Derek, went above and beyond for my friend who left something behind. This was the easiest and nicest rental experience I’ve ever had. We will definitely be back for another trip!

We stayed three nights and the location was perfect walking distance to everything . The house is updated clean and stocked with everything you need. The owner responded to any questions almost immediately. We had so much fun and plan on making it a yearly stay ! I would highly recommend this property.

Loved this place! The location is amazing, right overlooking Thames and walking distance to everything. (It was too cold for us to walk most places though!). Beds were comfortable and everything was so new! It was a little loud with the street noise, which I can imagine would be louder in the warmer months, but the location really can't be beat!

Very clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable so we all had a good night sleep. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Location was great as well-right in the center of where we needed to be so we were able to walk and not use our car. Showers in the bathrooms were also nice and spacious!

What a great, downtown Newport location! Beautifully modern rental, clean and well stocked. Parking passes included are a huge bonus! A bit of noise from the street when the bars closed but not unexpected in the city. Would stay here again!

This is great property, located in an area convenient to shops and restaurants. Just minutes away from the mansions if you are planning to tour them It's beautiful inside as well. All the amenities you need are included. Highly recommend!
